Blooming

Have you been to Midsummer Enchantment yet?  Kerryth from Spyralle has a magical headpiece and collar just waiting to frame your beautiful face!

The collar has a lovely vine closure detail in the front which serves as a beautiful necklace/choker for you.  The texture HUD changes both items together, although if you wanted different colours you could wear and set them separately.

I don’t normally wear reds and pinks, they don’t tend to work well with my colouring… but this Windflower shade just worked too well with Spyralle‘s earlier Sylvia release, and I couldn’t resist dancing.

The Sun Flower / Wind Flower / Moon Flower headpieces are a lovely accent to a beautiful gown or the perfect accompaniment for your garden fae.  Stop by Midsummer Enchantment before this bloom disappears!  The faire is full of other wonderful goodies, many with a darke/gothic flavour…. and many treasures just awaiting your discovery.

Fantasy Faire 2018 — Spyralle’s Ageless Clock

One last treasure for the 2018 Fantasy Faire before it ends this weekend: the Ageless Clock from Spyralle.

As Kerryth writes:

This intriguing machine keeps time according to a system no longer known. An intricate gear mechanism turns, and at intervals a hidden bell sounds and an image takes form on the front of the object and then fades away. After a cycle of four bells and four different images, the cycle starts over again. Meanwhile, a light pulses. Is it a signal? Is it a message? No one knows.

The Ageless Clock is defaults to a large size and 7LI, but it’s resizable.  It shrinks down to a 4LI tabletop version seen below, perfectly at home on a mantlepiece or lost amidst the clutter of your laboratory.

Fantasy Faire is slipping into its final few days: the faire closes on Sunday, April 29.  If you haven’t been, you really owe it to yourself to visit — I don’t know how the creators build such a marvelous set of sims for only ten days.  And what should be foremost, it’s a wonderful opportunity to support Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society.

Please stop on by Spyralle at the Fantasy Faire, and support the cause!

Fantasy Faire 2018 — Spyralle’s Timeless Folly

Some big things are afoot at Fantasy Faire 2018, including a beautiful little architectural marvel by Spyralle.  Fans of Spyralle will know that Kerryth creates not only dresses and jewelry but other knick-knacks and decorations as well.  She’s created two lovely pieces for the Fantasy Faire, the first of which I’m showing you this morning.

I really love the little accents that make this a Spyralle special.  The most obvious is the fractal-decorated glass vaulted ceiling.  If you have full lighting effects on (shadows, in particular), that ceiling makes a gorgeous shadow below.

Timeless Folly has a beautiful sense of grandeur and scale…. with lovely little accents.   As rezzed, it has a default LI of 21.  Resizing will adjust LI accordingly, but be wary – adjusting the size back and forth can play silly games with LI and mesh — I had a small cute version at 4 LI, then resized to about half-default height — and ended up at 30!   That’s okay, it’s copy, so re-rez and start again!

Take a look at the Spyralle at the Fantasy Faire, and support the cause!

My outfit, from Caverna Obscura, was originally blogged here.

Hau`oli Lā Hānau Kerryth!

Kerryth at Spyralle has turned ten, and the presents are for you!  For a VERY limited time, Kerryth offers Coelis, a beautiful gown in purple to her group!  If that wasn’t all, nearly every purple item at Spyralle is on sale for 50% off!

EarthStonesPlayful Dolphins works really well with this gown, and the choice of stones is perfect: the mother-of-pearl matches the buttons on the gown wonderfully.

Coelisis available in fitmesh for both SLink bodies, Maitreya, TMP, Belleza Venus, and a standard fitmesh.  I really love the lace panel and buttons at the front!

Hau`oli Lā Hānau Kerryth!  Congratulations on ten years of orbits about the SecondLife Sun, and thanks for sharing your art with us!  For the rest of us, hurry on out to Spyralle!

A tale as old as time

Solas and Bee at Silvan Moon Designs have created a new magical gown for the latest round of Enchantment.  The theme this round is the story of Beauty and the Beast, and Solas and Bee have created Belle’s Enchanted Ball Gown just for the occasion!

Belle’s Enchanted Ball Gown comes in six lovely colours and fitmesh for both SLink bodies and Maitreya Lara.  Still no fitmesh for Belleza bodies; hopefully Solas will start supporting those soon!

Kerryth at Spyralle really creates some finely-detailed jewelry, and the Like Gentle Tears tiara just magically seems to suit this gown.  Rain features a five-colour HUD that allows you to tint the hanging crystals in five shimmery light shades.

The Enchantment sim is really something rather amazing, the builders have put a lot of work into creating the scene, and many merchants (such as Solas and Bee) have created lovely pieces just for this event.  Stop by and take a look!

A Grand Spyralle

Kerryth at Spyralle and Tailahr of Tai’Dyed have joined forces to create a new shopping experience for you!  The new Spyralle/Tai’Dyed main store at Mauna Waipio is now open, and it is truly a beautiful sight!

Kerryth  and Tailahr have created a wonderful little mini-hunt to celebrate the Grand Opening.  They have hidden six brightly-coloured polyhedrons (rhombicubotahedrons, for the mathematically/geometrically minded) about the store — each one is animated, and moves about in some way, peeking out and then hiding again.  Six lovely little treasures are hidden inside!

The store is based on the Nu Orne structures from Cerridwen’s Cauldron, and give a lovely sense of magic and enchantment, the perfect setting for Spyralle and Tai’Dyed’s wares.

The new store occupies the southeast portion of the sim: Kerryth and Tailahr ask that you not intrude into the private residential parts of the sim to the North and West.

I think you’re going to love the new digs.  There are a lovely host of beautiful vistas.  The team has been working very hard to bring the new location to you, and have been celebrating with parties.  I hope you enjoy the new shopping experience as much as I have!   Please stop by the new store and take a look today!

Mahalo, my friends!  A hui hou!

Snowstar

The holidays may be past, but Winter is still roaring in the Northern Hemisphere.  I thought I’d show off this lovely holiday gifty from Spyralle.  Kerryth updated the Cozy sweater with a new wintery icy texture, and it’s just perfect!

I really love the fine detailing on this, the weave of the sweater and Kerryth’s amazing fractal textures!

If you’re not a Spyralle group member, you may not know that Kerryth is moving her mainstore to a new beautiful location.  She gave a sneak peak at New Year’s, but has closed it again until a proper grand-opening ceremony.  It’s beautiful, you’re going to love it.

Happy Friday, everyone, have a lovely weekend.  Mahalo!  A hui hou!

Réalta

Kerryth at Spyralle has a wonderful treat.  Réalta was originally offered for the Team Diabetes Winter Showcase, which has now passed by, but it’s now available for purchase in the Spyralle main store!

Réalta comes in the standard five rigged mesh sizes, plus fitmesh for the standard body and for Physique and Hourglass bodies only.  That said, I had no problem using the standard fitmesh on my Lara with the appropriate use of alpha zones.  I LOVE this gown!  Long mesh gowns are always a chore to dance in, but this one is still such a happiness!

Kerryth has five beautiful textures for Réalta.  I loved them so much I couldn’t pick just one to blog, but you’ll have to wait until next week to see the others!  Stop by Spyralle, and look back here next week to see the other textures!

Hyperborean Chieftan

I make it a point not to re-blog old items, but sometimes you have to.  I first blogged the Snowmoon Silk Road tunic and pants from Spyralle almost two years ago — just a few weeks shy of two years.  Do you want a good laugh?  Go back and take a look at that post!

There’s a good reason to come back to the Silk Road tunic — Kerryth has created Eagle of the Snows, a new headdressb designed to complement Snowmoon, and it’s available only at Genre!

  • Spyralle — Eagle of the Snows Headdress, exclusive for Genre!
  • Spyralle — Silk Road II Tunic (Snow Moon) and Trousers (Midnight)
  • Baby Monkey — Debbi Boot
  • Dragonsfyre — Sky Nation Native American War Lance
  • [Kikay]Lolita Gothic D pose

Eagle of the Snows has a number of wonderful options!  There is a removable mask-like portion (shown attached above, and removed, below).  There is also a texture HUD that allows three different pattern choices for the front and side gems.

The War Lance from Dragonsfyre was just what I needed to complete the ensemble.  It’s very nicely done, my only problem was that while resizeable, the minimum size was too big for a “normal” sized avatar (that is, my height of just under 2 m tall).  No problems, I was able to edit -> edit linked and resize the staff and adjust the feathers just right!

Okay, now for the bad news.  This is the last time for GenreSpyralle has been a part of Genre for a very long time, and Eagle of the Snows is a bit of a good-bye to this wonderful event.

Do stop by, let’s give Genre a good send-off!

embers of a raging fire

The Santa Rosa fire caused devastation, taking the homes and properties of so many.  Kerryth at Spyralle turned the tragedy of the destruction of the Coffey Park neighbourhood to art in Ignis, a beautiful gown for the Trick or Treat Lane event, in memory of all the joys that lived there.  You can find it at Trick or Treat Lane, but only for a limited time!

There are three beautiful textures, but Ember matched my fiery curls just right.

All Hallow’s is past, but Trick or Treat Lane goes on until November 3rd.  Don’t miss out on this fiery beauty!
