I have a line in my profile that offers help with clothes and appearance to girls new to Second Life.  One of the reasons I can do this is this blog; I know where all the freebies are!  And the second is Scandalize.

You can pick up the Ruth2 body for FREE, which is similar enough to Lara so that most clothes made for Lara will fit, then head directly to the 200+ group gifts available at Scandalize for an instant quality wardrobe.  It used to be L$20 to join the appropriate Scandalize group you needed to pick up these gifts, but apparently that’s now changed and one of their FREE groups will get you all the gifties!

Here’s one of the gifts available.

This dress is so cute with its tattered neck and hemlines.  The dress is separate from the belt and both pieces come with their own HUDs to choose from a myriad of plains and patterns.  Fits include Lara, Legacy, Isis, Freya, and Hourglass.

Scandalize rearranged their region a while ago, and it’s sort of been confusing.  I keep ending up at ground level on an empty beach when I visit, and have to cam to where I want to go.  The main store now seems to be part of the Vanity Event, a “monthly” event that seems to be open all the time.  There are a number of stores represented at the event.

Scandalize has group gifts at the Vanity Event’s landing point, and a teleporter to the area containing over two hundred of their past group gifts (yes, that’s why I recommend newcomers find the L$20 join fee for the group… instant wardrobe!)

This cute sexy robe is one of the two Scandalize group gifts at the landing point.  It’s sized to fit Lara, Lara Petite, Legacy, Legacy Perky, and Reborn.

The robe comes with a fatpack HUD with twenty plain colors for the main fabric, and five patterns.  You can also color the seams and bow from the same twenty five plains (the pattern’s backgrounds are available for the seams and bow).

And it has not one, but two levels of animated glitter, which makes it super eye-catching.  I’ve photographed it with the glitter on, but for the real wow factor, you have to see it in-world, it’s stunning!

I’ll certainly be wearing this as a coverup for some lingerie events at Eden when I make my entrance 🙂

This is a past group gift from Scandalize.  Scandalize is only L$20 to join!

The top, shorts, and sleeves are separates.  As with most gifts from Scandalize, this is a fatpack, and it includes multiple HUDs with a myriad of colors (and stripes vs plains) for all three pieces.  All pieces are sized for Lara, Legacy, Freya, Isis, and Hourglass.

I enjoy helping keen girls that have just started in SL.  One of my standard tricks is to point them at London City (which most of them have already found anyway).  There are multiple ways that they can scrounge L$20 at London City, and then join Scandalize.  With the FREE from marketplace Ruth mesh body, which fits most clothes made for Lara, you have an instant quality wardrobe!

This dress is a FREE group gift.  Scandalize is L$20 to join, but as I’ve pointed out before, this must be the best bargain on the grid.  As soon as you join you get access to dozens and dozens of high quality group gifts!  Instant wardrobe!

This dress is sized to fit Lara, Freya, Venus, Isis, Physique, and Hourglass.  It has a color HUD so you’re sure to find something that works for you!

This is a group gift from Scandalize.  Their group is only L$20 to join, and must be the best value group for women’s fashion on the grid!

This very transparent mesh dress and panties set is sized to fit Lara, Lara Petite, Legacy, Legacy Perky, and Reborn.  The dress and panties are separates, and you can set them to one of twenty colors via the included HUDs.

The dress also has a super nice animated glitter effect with you can also switch on or off.  I didn’t try and photograph it, you’ll have to run and grab the outfit for yourself to see!

When I’m stuck for an outfit to show you, I’ll generally check Scandalize’s past group gifts, there are so many of them.  Here’s one I haven’t shown you before…

Scandalize Advent Calendar

I said to myself “Not doing Advent calendars this year!”, they are such a time sink and really, I end up tossing a lot of things away.  However, my friend Kat recommended I look at the Scandalize Advent calendar, and yes, there are some nice things on it, and it’s FREE if you’re a group member (L$20 to join).

Here are two of the gifts.

The coat and skirt is on one day and the boots are on another.  I’m not tracking which days are which, just go there and pick up all of them 🙂

The coat and skirt are separate pieces.  The skirt is sized to fit Lara, Legacy, and Freya, and the coat is sized for the same three bodies, plus Lara Petite and Legacy Perky.

Included are two HUDs, one for the skirt and one for the coat.  Both offer plain color selections, and the coat HUD also offers plaids, and the option to color the belt separately.

The boots also come with a huge color HUD, allowing you to color the boots, laces, fishnet, soles, and metals!  They’re sized to fit Lara, Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Legacy.

The dress comes in sizes to fit Lara, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Reborn, and Kahlene.  But wait, that’s not all 🙂  Also included in the pack is a separate item so you can wear the lace top by itself!  And being from Scandalize, you can be sure that there’s going to be a multi-color HUD, and this gift is no exception, with twenty colors available.

All my normal go-to gift channels are flooded with outfits for Hallowe’en at the moment, so I’ve gone to Scandalize to find this past FREE giftie.  Scandalize is only L$20 to join, and with literally dozens of past free gifts, you just can’t go wrong.

This outfit comes with the skirt and two tops one with fuzzy fur and one without (worn).  All are sized to fit Lara, Isis, Freya, and Hourglass.  As with most gifts from Scandalize, this is a fatpack, and it comes with two HUDs to let you select color schemes.  This one includes both plains and ombres, and there is some fabulous detail, including what color you want the skirt’s button stitching!
