Just a short post to show off a lovely fur coat from Beautiful Dirty Rich. So often ‘fur’ in SL appears rather tacky but here they have managed a nice luxurious look. The Obsession jacket comes in 10 patterns, along with 10 colors for the scarf, which can also be hidden.
There are two other styles of fur coats available from BDR as well, with differences in collars and length. The Obsession fur coats are available for all major mesh bodies.
Every now and then a girl needs to dress up a little bit… and with elegant and flowing style. Today I’d like to show you a selection from my gown wardrobe, something for any particular formal event.
Let’s look first at the Bianca gown from FlowerDreams, available in seven colors. It includes top and bottom layers for the popular mesh bodies as well as Omega, and lots of lovely flowy prim bits as well. Perfect for when you’re feeling a little bit of the fairy tale in you!
Now how about those nights when you want to glitter a little bit? Maybe even be a little daring? Then baii maii has just the thing for you in the 218 Glitter Gown with fits for the major mesh bodies. You’ll be hard pressed to know whether onlookers are more dazzled by the flashy dress or by your skin peeking through! Hint: the texture is materials enabled, and if you add a little light to yourself it looks absolutely amazing!

Looking for something a bit classier? Returning to FlowerDreams we have the Leah gown, also a bit daring but in an elegant way, with top and sides revealing one’s form. A bit of carefully placed hair in case you aren’t *quite* that daring… Leah is also available in seven colors, with appliers for the the major mesh bodies and Omega.
And finally, this week a two-fer: both black and red versions of the same gown, worn by me and my lovely Kie during a formal dance. This is Irina from Utopia, with the amazing detailing that only Utopia can bring. It’s available in seven colors with appliers for the major mesh bodies and Omega. Hello dear ones! Today I’d like to feature a few items from Addams, who are right up there on my list of truly quality clothing designers.
Let’s look first as the Carolina Women’s Wool Dress, available in 22 single colors or a fatpack with HUD. It has lovely detail that really catches the light, and the shape is very flattering. Don’t you just want to snuggle up to someone in that? In the coral color I matched it with some pretty over the knee boots from Mutresse called Kaisia, available in an 18 color HUD fatpack with lots of mix and match color parts.
Addams is also really good with jackets. Here is a casual denim number, Melissa, that opens up nicely around the chest to show off… whatever nice top you are wearing (insert giggle here!). However I chose to wear my fave Blueberry tank, the Lola; and rounded it off with a neat pair of jeans called Dita from Lapointe and Bastchild (subject of a future blog!) The Addams Melissa jacket comes in a substantial 41 single colors, or a fatpack with HUD. It has a flopped down hood in back that you can turn on or off, with 16 colors of its own.
Finally, we have a sharp looking leather jacket with woolly collar from Addams called Lulu, available in 14 single colors or a HUD fatpack. It too opens up nicely around the chest area; in this case there is an option for a bra that can be turned on and off. The bra is not quite to my taste so instead I used another goody from Lapointe & Bastchild, a retro tank top that will be in that future post too!
