Hair Fair, one of my favorite yearly events, is open!  The event covers six regions, and is chock full of the very best hairstylists in SL.  There are event exclusives, discounted items, and even some gifts for you to find.

Rush over and have a look!  The event runs until the 16th of June, and benefits Wigs For Kids, with a percentage of most items being donated (or you can donate at a kiosk, and don’t forget to buy a bandana).

No Match is offering this wonderful gift that I picked up to show you.  I’ll have to return tomorrow to browse all the booths!

This inverted bob is certainly my style!  It’s unrigged and also comes with a resize script.  The base HUD has thirty six colors and there are two other HUDS – ombré and unicorn – with twenty four more colors!

And, if that’s not enough, the hair is modify, so you can tint it to get the color just as you like.  I do this for hairs that let me so I can get close to my RL color.

The creator has also been thoughtful enough to include matching hairbases for all the base colors in both classic BoM and EvoX, which are also mod.  This is a very nice gift!  Don’t miss out!

Hair Fair 2022

Hair Fair is open today!  It runs until the 10th of July, so there is tons of time to visit.

There is a small number of FREE gifts available, and for me the standout was this updo bun.  It’s only in browns, but it does have a tint HUD, which allowed me to get a dark red.

The hairdo comes in four different styles and includes a variety of differently styled bangs as well.  It’s unrigged and therefore resizable and you can reposition it.  The HUD includes a selection of mostly dark browns, and with the mesh detailing and the ability to turn materials on provided by the HUD, produces a nice realistic look!

As I mentioned, there is a tint HUD included, but the base colors are dark browns, which mostly resist tinting, so if you’re exclusively a blonde, this one’s not for you 🙂

Oh, and Hair Fair supports Wigs For Kids, a worthy charity.  Don’t forget to buy your bandana while you’re at the event!

Hair Fair is on at the moment and runs until the 4th of July.  You’ve got a week to run and look at some of the fantastic new offerings the best hairstylists in SL have to offer, and you might even pick up a FREE gift while you’re there.

Don’t forget to buy a bandana, as 100% of the price goes to Wigs for Kids, a very worthy cause that supports kids undergoing cancer treatments and other medical issues that cause hair loss.  Losing your hair or even changing your hairstyle can radically change your looks, and for kids, the loss of hair, even temporarily, can be devastating for their confidence.  And that’s what Wigs for Kids is all about, supporting these kids.  The creators at the Fair are also donating percentages on all sales, so don’t be shy!

How different I look!  This is a FREE gift from Kokolores, available at the Fair.  Just to make a point, I’m wearing exactly the same outfit as I was yesterday, the only thing that’s changed is my hairstyle.

Hair Fair is one of my absolute favorite events of the SL year!  There lots and lots of new hairstyles to look at, and a lot of the creators are very generous with free (or nearly free) gifties!

Here are photos of nearly all the gift hairstyles available this year.  When you go, don’t forget to buy a bandana to support Wigs for Kids, and hopefully you’ll support the creators by grabbing some of their for sale hairstyles too!  Specific percentages of each sale also go to Wigs for Kids, so this is a perfect time to update your look and help out a fabulous charity.
