I haven’t photographed a gown for a while!  This one is a past group gift from Virtual Diva.  Their group is FREE to join, and there are a number of past group gifts available.

This gown is only standard mesh sizes (no fitmesh, *sobs*) but looks lovely, and it gives me a chance to wear my full set of diamonds!

I mentioned the other day that I’d done the Frog Prince Hunt, and this hairstyle was a prize in that hunt.  The designer was very generous, and had two hunt items available.  Both are normally in browns, but they come with a color wheel HUD that allows you to add a tint.  All it takes is a little pink, et voilà, I nearly match my normal color 🙂

Hello gentle reader!  Today I have a really interesting mesh gown and a new hairstyle to show you.  Both of these were hunt items on the Evil Bunny hunt, which has now finished.  I know, I know, I should have posted this earlier, sorry, but I’m lucky to get one post a day done, let alone the five or six it would take me to keep up 🙂

I’m generally not a big fan of full length mesh gowns as they have clipping issues while dancing.  For this gown, I’ve completely alpha-ed out my bod from the chest down which, while dealing with the clipping issues, also shows up that you effectively have no feet lol

This is a very generous hunt item.  Not only does it have the gown in standard sizes plus fitmesh for Lara, Freya, Venus, Isis, Physique, Hourglass, and TMP, but all the jewelry is included as well.  Both the gown and the jewelry have HUDs allowing color changes (four for the gown, and 15 for the jewelry!)

While my hairstyle may not be the most contained, I think it works well with this gown, partly due to the gown’s shirt collar.  I think the collar is cute and makes the gown far less formal.

I love the loose braid on this hairstyle!  The hairstyle comes with two base colors, a light brown and a light red.  Similar to other hairstyles I have from Firelight, it also comes with a color wheel HUD, so if you know how your colors interact, you can get nearly any shade you like!  Fantastic!  The color you see here comes from adding bright pink to the light red (now you know why red hair and bright pink generally don’t work too well together).
