I don’t wear a lot of tattoos, so I guess I don’t do too many posts about them. But I had to do this one, it’s a pretty piece of art for a tattoo.
The tattoo is a FREE gift for members of the SLF&O group. It comes in Maitreya, Slink, and Omega appliers, and with a system tattoo layer for people using BoM (like me in these photos).
I found this very simple black romper at Un!q, as a FREE group gift for members of Fab Free. I’m wearing it today to show off two lovely gifts that Aeon got for me over the holiday period. The romper is sized for Lara, Freya, Venus, Isis, Physique, and Hourglass.
Aeon wanted to get me something for my cheetah, but she realized she didn’t know kemono well enough, so I picked out some things which she got for me. One of them was this hairstyle, which is not only a perfect match for the cheetah in auburn, but it also works really well in human form too in my more usual red.
The other gift Aeon got me was this absolutely gorgeous necklace! It’s from EarthStones, whom we both like as jewelry makers. I found our eternity rings there too.
Hello, kitties! Today, I’m showing you a very basic romper for the cheetah. And the big news, a new hairstyle too!
The romper is one piece and is for Busty Fitted Torso only. It’s mod and copy, and comes with the AO and UV maps, and it has a specular map installed (although this is not included in the full perm textures).
I’ve been looking for a new hairstyle for the cheetah for a while. My requirements are a little demanding 🙂 It has to have a good auburn/strawberry blonde color to match my look, it has to fit the Kemono head, and bonus, it has to fit my human avatar as well. I really liked some neko hairsyles from Ayashi, but they were just too big front to back, and not having a resizable version was a deal breaker.
I ended up going to look at Exile, who created the “Kissing Strangers” style I usually wear with the cheetah, and found this! Even though it has ear cutouts for human style ears, it works really well, and it certainly changes my look, which is what I was after!
And of course, the color set is from the same creator as my old hairstyle, and yes, bonus, it fits my human avi too 🙂
This cute mouse is available at the Kustom 9 event, and is a purrfect fit for any neko or feline 🙂
The mouse comes in a number of colors, and it has a HUD to let you control the two animations (yes, it’s animesh) and three poses. For L$99 per color, I just couldn’t resist!
Also, since my last photos of the cheetah, I have a new bento tail! This one is from Catseye, and it’s really quite well done. The pack includes three tail… widths, I suppose you’d call them – thin, medium (shown), and thick. Each width has two versions, one in the normal position, and one at a lower position. These are rigged mesh, so you can’t move them, so checking with the demo version is a must!
There are a number of sitting, walking, and running animations included in both the tail and an AO. The HUD to control the AO also lets you set the tail length to extra long, long, medium, or short.
The HUD, while it does the job, could be better. In particular it would be nice if it gave you access to all of the animations while sitting. However, if you’re a scripter, is should be straightforward to do a custom HUD to overcome this small issue, as it’s using the ZHAO script package and the scripts are full perm.
Lastly, there is a texture HUD included that allows you to texture and tint the tail. The tail is broken up into four parts, making it easy to get something like a cheetah tail right out of the box. But if the texture HUD won’t get you to your desired fur markings, the kit also includes the UV map so you can make your own texture. And there’s an applier included that you can load your custom texture with (it’s even full perm so you can sell you texture customization easily).
All this for L$299. Another superb product from Catty over at Catseye!

The stars are out! Well I feel like a star anyway, in this cute confection I concocted. The central part of the outfit is the Kokoro Symphony dress by V-Tech, a gothic lolita style accented with lace. The perfect match for it was the Kawaii Doll Boots from Candy Kitten.
Kokoro Symphony comes in eleven single colors as well as a fat pack, while the Kawaii Doll boots include twelve colors that can be mixed and matched among the heels, laces, bows and trims, and socks (or no socks).
I supplemented the main items with full perm ribbons colored to match, along with lace applier gloves, and some cute neck accessories.
From the back, one defining feature of the Symphony dress is this huuuuge ribbon with the shiny heart! There is a matching ‘necklace’ with ribbon to go down one’s back but alas it does not really fit one’s neck terribly well, even when resized. So instead I turned it into a hair accessory! Which I think actually works much better. 🙂

Unless you’re on an A sim, panties are required! I’m wearing some Maitreya specific ones. Even though this is in fitmesh for Lara, it’s fairly loose at the sides, so again, you should probably consider where you’ll be wearing this! The dress comes in brown and black in addition to the white, and fitmesh for Isis, Freya, Venus, Physique, and Hourglass.
I’m showing off a new hairstyle from Exile too. I had a few L$ burning a hole in my pocketbook, so I went and got a new style! There is a selection of packs with this like most Exile hair (this is a colour from the Red Pack) but unlike my other favourite style from Exile, this HUD has no streak options, just the plain colours. As you can probably guess, I love it anyway! If I could buy the Exile store, I probably would lol.

This outfit is the PoE9 Hunt gift from AlaFolie. It’s a separate top and skirt. The standard sizes don’t appear to be standard (with things like “XXS XS” on one piece for example) but I didn’t try them on to see as the package contains specific fitmesh for lots of bodies, including Lara.
I also want to specifically mention my hair style. This is the reds pack for Stone Cold Seduction by Exile. In my opinion, you won’t find a more versatile hair in SL, and it’s certainly one of my favs. It’s possible to vary this from dark reds to strawberry blondes like you see here, and you can add streaks in a number of colours. I just added some brown streaks here to make this appear even more blonde that it really is.
No prizes for guessing where I got this outfit. Yep, the Womenstuff hunt 🙂
The dress comes in standard sizing, but looks to be all fitmesh, even though it doesn’t say so. The optional capris are on a pants system layer, but the package also has appliers for Slink, TMP, and Omega.
I really love playing around with lighting in SL. In these two shots, most of the light came from the fire as you can see. I used a projector light just out of scene to soften the shadows around my face a little. Maybe I should do an article on lighting?

The hair from Exile was available at last year’s Hair Fair as a free event gift. If you missed the event last year, make sure you make it there next time it’s on! It’s a “must go” event and is for a worthy cause to boot!
I thought I’d show off my favourite mesh hair today. It’s Stone Cold Seduction by Exile, and I just love it! I originally discovered it when someone posted a portrait of themselves on Flickr wearing it. I ran and got a demo and was a little conflicted as I really wanted it but it was expensive, at least to me. I took a picture of myself wearing the demo and cropped the demo box off the top of the pic hehe. I’ve become a better SL photographer since those days though, so here are two pics of me wearing it.
And although this is the “Red” version, there are some very light reds, letting you get close to blondes.
