Shimmering Moonbeams is another lovely outfit from Moonlitecat Creations in three parts: a top in the standard sizes in both rigged mesh and fitmesh, and a skirt and shawl in rigged mesh plus fitmesh for Maitreya Lara, SLink Physique, and Belleza mesh bodies.

Moonbeams has the iridescent shimmer of opal.  Add some rainbow eyeliner from VileCult for that extra little touch — Aeon is always happy for more colour!

This little outfit was another I picked up from Moonlitecat Creations with that Advent giftcard!  It pays to follow your favourite vendors!  I hope that you all have a shimmering bright day, and a wonderful weekend!

A ranger for a silvan moon

A silvan moon?  Is that like a Forest moon?  or a little nod to the passing of Gene Cernan?   Certainly the Ranger probes didn’t land among the trees.

No, it’s a desperate attempt to come up with a clever title to share Silvan Moon Designs‘s beautiful Ranger of Islavare.

Daisy Wreath from Caverna Obscura is an old favourite, but the Family Tree of Life pendant is a lovely new item from Earthstones.  It features a choice of metal options, plus three gems that are independently selectable from the “standard” set of birthstone colours.

Ranger of Islavare is featured in five different colours — four of which are shown here.  Shadow (shown at the top) is a lovely black theme, and below you can see Hunter (sagey green), Brooke (dark blue), and Rune (aqua).  There’s also Secret, a beautiful dark red (not shown).

Ranger features the dress, leggings, cloak and matching boots (not shown here).  Dress and leggings are available in the five standard rigged sizes plus standard, Slink Physique and Maitreya fitmeshes.  There are also standard layer and Slink, Belleza, and Maitreya appliers for the leggings to help you work better with legging/boot conflicts.

Shimmering like snow

Aloha kakou!  It has been a busy holiday season and I’ve been too long away — visiting family and then a research conference and the start of the term kept me awfully busy.

But I’m back to show you a lovely reissued gown from Spyralle.  Chione was a daily advent gifty back in December, and features a flexi skirt and new omega appliers!  Long time readers know how much I like a flexi skirt for dancing.  They just look so much better than long mesh!

I think that I have showed off the Twinkling Lights jewelry — earrings, bracelet, anklet, and necklace (not shown) — in an earlier post.  I’ll admit I wear them every chance I can get in this snowy season!

I hope that you had a wonderful season.  I know some of us will be happier for the end of cold and snow (I will be for the sake of getting to run outside again!) but I still love cuddling up in front of a warm fire while it’s snowy outside — or taking a nice walk in a snowstorm with that someone special.

Snowflakes and Sparkle

Two lovely little winter treats for you today — a beautiful little snowflakes jumper and some amazing jewelry from Earthstones!  The jumper is an older one group gift from Calamitous Intent, but is a favourite for the cold winter months. 

I’ll readily admit, I love sparkle.  Not cheezy bling, but beautiful sparkling lights.  So when I saw the beautiful Twinkling Lights jewelry at Earthstones, I completely fell in love.  There is a necklace, earrings, bracelet and anklet, sold separately so you can choose what you love.  I love them all!

As you might expect, Twinkling Lights is a little script-heavy, but it’s not bad — just be warned that if you are on a heavy-traffic sim (a busy club?) and they monitor scripts, you might be up high on the board  🙂  BUT the sparkle is beautiful, and I’ve been wearing it mostly non-stop since I got it!

Aquella Marina certainly has an aquatic feel to it — perfect for a naiad or nymph — but remove the headpiece and tendrils, and you have a very lovely gauzy chemise.

Rising from the waters

Sometimes…. the pearls are hidden in the flotsam and jetsam.

At the beginning of June, I had gone to pick up the group gift from Blue Moon Enterprises (always a treat) and had apparently then completely forgotten about it.  It wasn’t until earlier today that I was looking at my inventory (the flotsam and jetsam in this case) and OMG stumbled across Selkie, a beautiful mesh skirt and tie-back bandau.

The skirt comes in the standard mesh sizes, but the bandau comes in a single size.  I was a bit distraught at first, as it was much larger than my chest!  But Solas made the bandau mod, so that you can edit the top.  Simply select ‘edit linked’, and click on the bandau itself (not the ties or the abalone shell decorations).  You can then select the front face-center (it should be a red square) and slide that in or out to resize.  Don’t forget to adjust the back as well!  Once you’re happy with the fit of the bandau, select the abalone shells in front and move them to your chest, and the ties in back the same way.  It will fit like a dream!
