I needed a better wetsuit for sailing, as the one I had was BoM which I made for myself ages ago.  I hunted around and found this one.  This suit is L$250 at CLBlue.

There are two sizes for Lara in the pack, a standard fit and one for slim arms.  Also included are fits for Freya, Isis, Slink Hourglass, and a one-size-fits-all fitmesh for classic avatars.  The suit is modify, and the creator has supplied the AO and UV maps, so you can texture to your heart’s content.  There are also some example colors in there too, green, aqua, and black (shown).

The fit for Lara requires some substantial work with alphas to hide poke through.  So much alpha that this may be the first Lara outfit that I’ll sit down and take the time to make an auto-alpha wearable to go with it.  If you don’t know what that means, let me explain.  You can get a free script at the Maitreya store.  If you drop it in an object and tell it which alpha cuts to apply, it will automatically alpha your bod when you wear it, and un-alpha them when you take it off.  Normally, you’d create a transparent sphere or something and wear that with the outfit, but because this is modify, I can drop the script right in the wetsuit.  That will certainly save some time when getting changed!

All in all, this is a very nice looking suit making great use of materials.  Considering you get a mod kit with it, it’s definitely value for money.

CLBlue sweater gift

This is a nice group gift from CLBlue.  We haven’t seen much from them recently.  Their group is L$50 to join, and is certainly worth that if you have kemono, just to pick up this gift and the past group gifts they have out.

As with a lot of CLBlue’s clothing, this one fits Lara too, although only with Maitreya hands.  The sweater is long enough to wear as a dress, or you could pair it with tights or very tight jeans 🙂

There are lots of other sizes in the pack too: Freya, Hourglass, Avatar 2.0, Kemono default, Busty Fitted Torso, Rei’s Chest, and two versions for Vtech Boi.

A friend was asking me about outfits for Kemono, specifically Fitted Busty Torso, and admittedly, you have to look hard to find good ones.  I did a fashion show for my friend so they could see what I have.  Once I’d worked my way through my outfits, I said “I’m sure I have some more, but they’re not set up in outfits”.

After they’d left, I looked to see what I had, and realized I hadn’t shown you this fab knitted top for the cheetah!  And to my surprise, while writing this post, I realized I hadn’t shown you the shorts either!

This top comes in sizes for Lara, Physique, Hourglass, Isis, Freya, Rei’s Chest, Busty Fitted Torso, and two sizes for Avatar 2.0.

There’s a universal color picker HUD with save slots, specular level control and alpha blend control, and you can texture the body and the strings separately.  The top is copy and modify, and a UV map is included so you can make texture mods for it.

This is a nice addition to any cheetah’s wardrobe, for the reasonable price of L$250.

The shorts are a group gift from CLBlue.  Their group is FREE to join.  The shorts also come in sizes for classic avatars, Lara, Hourglass, Physique, Isis, Freya, the default Kemono body, and Busty Fitted Torso.  They also come with essentially the same HUD as the top, are modify and copy, and also include the UV map, the specular map, and the base textures that are available in the HUD.

Here’s another fantastic outfit for the kemono cheetah!  I was browsing around and came across this on marketplace, for the low price of L$150.

Not only is it for kemono with Starbright’s Busty Torso as shown here, but it also comes with fits for the default kemono body, Rei’s Chest, V-Tech Boi, Lara, Freya, Isis, and two fits for classic avatars!

Also included is a color picker HUD for the outfit’s body, border, straps, rings, and pins.  You can also change the metals to silver or gold, set the outfits specular level, and set the alpha blending mode.  There is also a reference shape included, although I’m wearing my standard shape for the cheetah.

Unlike most kemono clothing, this one is no modify and does not supply UV and AO maps, which would be what’s keeping the cost so low.  But with the number of fits and a color picker HUD, this is easily worth the money.

 

 

Catsuit cat

Cats in catsuits?!  I got this catsuit for the kemono bod from marketplace with a specific reason in mind, which you’ll see if you keep scrolling!

The suit comes in sizes for default, Rei, and Busty Torso, and a set of full perm textures is included.  Also included is a texture HUD that lets you colorize any of the five faces on the suit.  As it is, it’s pretty nice, and could be used in a number of scenarios without any mods, including in an SF styled sim for example.  The normal and specular textures are really well done.

And here we have why I wanted it.  Recently I’ve been playing some capture roleplay in a jungle, and do you think camouflage might help some?  I’m betting it will!  This photo was taken with just a local texture to get an idea how it would look.  I’ll do a custom texture with more careful edge matching for the camo when I get a little spare time.  As it is, even without edge matching, it looks pretty good!

 

Cheetah mod

A while ago, I did some pro photography for Catseye store owner Catty.  She gave me a gift card in appreciation.  At the time, I had no intention of getting a Kemono, but after I did, I remembered that Aeon had the gift card, and asked her if there was any credit left on it, as Catty does some Kemono mods!

This is her cheetah mod (yes, the card had just enough credit hehe)

Catty usually gives you a lot of options with her creations, and this is no exception.  You have appliers for the Kemono head in the standard look (shown) or a girly look which has pink lippie instead of black.  There are appliers for the M3 Anime head, the M3 Venus head, and appliers for female, male, and femboy looks for the Kemono body.

Also included are the ears, and two versions of the tail – a flexi version (shown) and a rigged version that’s wrapped around your leg, which is perfect for dancing when you don’t want to whack you partner with your tail all night long lol!

The skin is really nicely done.  In the pic above, you can see the contrast between the inner and outer legs, and that extends to the feet and hands too, which you can see below.  A wonderful piece of work from Catty!

It’s always summer somewhere

We had a huge bash for the end of summer at Eden on the weekend.  I posted The last of summer the other day, but it’s always summer somewhere in SL, and the party was a perfect excuse to splash out on a new bikini 🙂

When I got the kemono, I found at least one store that stocks clothing items for both the kemono and Lara.  This bikini is by them, and comes with fits for Avatar2.0, Freya, Isis, Physique, Hourglass, as well as kemono Rei, kemono busty torso, and Lara.

 

The fit and rigging is perfect for both bodies.
