When I was a kid, my parents would sometimes make a special treat — ice cream grasshoppers, vanilla ice cream topped with chocolate syrup and creme de menthe. It’s little wonder why that comes to mind with this offering from Carrie’s Lingerie, the lovely Betty.
Carrie’s Lingerie has brought us a lovely gown and lingerie set, the lovely Brea. As a gown, Brea features a lovely flexi skirt to complement the Omega applier / SL layer body and stockings (and gloves).
The lingerie features the same body/torso as the gown, save without the transparent panel. Brea is a beautiful gown, and reminds me of Carrie’s older Holiday Sparkles gown. (Oooh, an applier re-release of that would be wonderful, Carrie!)
Carrie’s Lingerie brings us Dangerous, a catsuit/bodysuit in Omega appliers and mesh, with five standard sizes plus fitmesh for Slink Physique and Hourglass. Dangerous comes in six mouth-watering colours, and is available in the Carrie’s VIP section now!
I’ve complemented Dangerous with some jewelry from Rowena’s Designs. The necklace and ear cuffs both feature colour-change HUDs with a choice of five different lovely hues.
The open back is perfect for framing my favourite tat.
Can you believe Blue lent me the keys? When it comes to parallel parking… I’m clearly.. Dangerous.
Doesn’t everyone lounge around a lazy day in lingerie? Wouldn’t it be a better world if everyone did? Carrie’s Lingerie has just the thing, whether you’re looking for something lacy to wear under that favourite dress or something to tantalise that special someone. Currently available for Carrie’s VIPs, the lovely Trista.
Trista is available in Omega appliers as well as standard SL layers. I really love the makeup set – eyeshadow, liner, and some nice subtle lippy. It’s colourful, but not overdone, and I’ve already added it to some other outfits!
Trista includes a corset as well, and all items are independently selectable. It’s available in six different colours to suit you, so stop by and take a look today!
A glutton for punishment? Noooooo…. but I definitely have a strong desire for a new outfit from Carrie’s Lingerie. Gluttony is a new re-release of one of Carrie’s seven-deadly-sins series with Omega appliers, and wow, sin never looked so good.
The Fantasy Faire has come again to Second Life, and it does not disappoint. This event to support Relay for Life has tied together fourteen fantasy worlds, and is absolutely incredible. And Carrie’s Lingerie has gotten in on the fun with Horny Devil, a lovely little bit of lavender. This spectacular outfit features a babydoll, stockings and gloves (SL layers and Omega appliers), with mesh wings and horns. Matching pumps and makeup set are available separately, and it all supports Relay for Life! You can visit Carrie’s Fantasy Faire location here.

Carrie’s Lingerie – Horny Devil pumps (exclusive for Fantasy Faire 2016 benefiting Relay for Life)
The makeup set includes eyeshadow and liner, lippy, and a lovely forehead tattoo layer that can be selected separately. It’s not awfully visible with my hair, but… well, I’m not cutting it. Not again.
The wings are static/non-scripted, but are totally wicked. And without the flexiprims, the babydoll becomes a bodysuit.
I had too much fun shooting this one, so there are several more pics over on my flickr stream. If you liked these, please check them out! And whether you fall in or rise up, you should definitely check out the Fantasy Faire. There’s just too many excellent opportunities to explore – from shopping to role-playing, and some beautiful sims. But the event closes on May 1, so don’t dawdle. This opportunity won’t last for eternity.
Megan comes with SL layers and Omega appliers, as well as a lovely little prim skirt that flutters wonderfully. Well, perhaps it’s more of a ruffle.
I needed some help getting all laced up in back…..
There are included options for an underbust corset and a bra. With my chest, those are hardly impressive, but I do love the corset! All components are independently selectable, so you can mix and match with other outfits as well.
Megan has an accompanying makeup set, with a lovely silvery eyeshadow and silver-shimmer lippy, just right for a bit of restrained flair. And we’ll cap it off with a lovely little rose wreath at the Color Me Project, a group gift for Second Life Frees & Offers!
Ohhhh, and I have to. Partially because it’s a good song – and partially because I heard a recent interview with Billy Idol the other day, and he is a riot. Not a Quiot Riot, that’s different.
I really wanted to do a post just focusing on makeup, but I was a little frustrated in finding a good pose to show off my fancy fake nails. So rather than doing a lipstick/eyeshadow post that’s over in one sentence, here’s the full outfit…
I haven’t made the jump to a mesh head as yet (none of them look enough like me, especially the eyes), so I still get to use all my old system layer makeup 🙂
Now, a story about the nails for you: Aeon and I were running around at an event some time ago looking at various things when we came across these nails. I thought they were pretty amazing and went into raptures over them, but I wasn’t keen enough to buy them on the spot. I tend to want to go look at things in-store and make sure of prices and so on and so forth. I’m a pretty picky shopper.
So, while I was distracted with something else, Aeon snuck back to the store and bought them for me (just one of the reasons I love her)! And herein lies the “be a careful shopper” lesson: the “nails” were in reality a texture set for ZOZ mesh nails, which at the time I didn’t have. And you can’t blame either of us: the advertisement in the store gave no indication that this was so. Just a pic of the nails, permissions, a “Slink compatible” indication, and a price. If I’d visited the store first I would have been familiar with ZOZ and known. Never mind, as you can see, I ended up getting the nail base, and oh, I do still love the little corset textures on them!
I hope you like the rest of the look!
Outfit: Black Amisu by Blue Couture (temporarily closed)
Blue’s post yesterday inspired me… and so rather than going blond today, I thought I’d try something a little.. darker. Just right, I think, for Mindy, new at Carrie’s Lingerie!
According to the Urban Dictionary, apparently “Kristie” means “totally gorgeous”. That’s appropriate enough: one of Carrie’s Lingerie‘s new releases for you this month is the lovely Kristie, in Omega appliers as well as standard SL layers.
Ruca Tease – Black Leather sandals (black/silver strap)
Kristie is available in twelve beautiful colour choices – divided into six dark and six bright tones. Carrie’s has also released a separate optional matching make-up for the full effect.
