The mustard highlights on this pretty lace gown are just lovely! No gowns have come my way for quite some time, and now I have two new ones in less than a week 🙂 It also gives me a wonderful opportunity to show off a new jewelry set from Beloved!
The gown is prim, with system layer pants and top that also come as Omega, Slink, EVE, and Maitreya appliers. The gauzy upward ruffle is just lovely, and moves around nicely producing a gorgeous shimmery effect.
And oh my, Kimbra from Beloved is just amazing! She keeps producing these wonderful pieces of jewelry that just make you go “Wow!” As usual, this is fully texture changeable, so you can select the metals, gem, and accent gems to suit your outfit, and the set includes matching earrings. If you do your shopping at the larger jewelry stores, do yourself a huge favour and go and visit her store for some astonishing pieces at some very reasonable prices!
Kimbra McMillan at Beloved Jewelry, one of my favourite jewelry makers in SL, gave me a few items some time ago, including a tiara. I’m not overly fond of tiaras, but I’ve been looking for an opportunity to blog it for her. And along comes this fabulous applier and prim gown from LC Fashion!
This gown is currently FREE to all comers, so hurry and get yours! It comes with pants, top, and gloves on system layers, and has appliers for Omega, Belleza, Lola Tangos, Maitreya, and Slink. The gown also comes in two styles, the ball gown I am wearing here, and a less formal evening gown.
A lot of Beloved Jewelry’s items are texture changeable so you can match with what you’re wearing (or in my case, select emeralds to offset my hair). This tiara is no exception and allows you to select the metals, main and marquis gems, and the pearls from a huge range.
I’d also like to thank my friend Sophia “Queen of Fae” Hard for her wonderful location at Castle of Fae, Artic Wolf. Her beautiful castle and surrounding grounds are open to the public and are well worth a visit.
I’ve written about Beloved Jewelry in a previous post, but today I have a special reason for writing. The other day was my rez day, and my wonderful Aeon, knowing I really like the designs at Beloved, accompanied me to the store so I could pick out my own presents! Isn’t she awesome?
I picked a set and a necklace, trying to compliment my existing jewelry by selecting pieces that could be worn with less or more elaborate gowns and dresses. My other main jewelry set from Beloved is pretty gemstone heavy (think a large central stone with 15 drop accent gems on the necklace alone!) and is suitable for very plain solid coloured gowns. There is no way I could wear it with a mid length dress. So, I tried to fill out my range 🙂
First up, we have this lovely 15 chain drape necklace.
The plain chains at the front are accented on the back by some lovely drop gems.
The chains can be textured with a range of platinum, silver, pewter, and gold metals, and there are a range of coloured accent gems for the back, all selected from a touch menu on the necklace.

The second set I picked is a little more formal, but can still be worn with dresses. It’s also texture changing with an even larger selection of gems.
I’ve selected the aquamarine gems to match the dress that I’m wearing, but the diamond, sapphire, and of course emerald are all stunningly well done!

Well, that’s not how Mark Knopfler wrote it – or sang it – maybe… but why should Romeo get all the gold stars for his efforts? Well, maybe we won’t get into looking at the sexes in Shakespeare too closely. I suspect that not-a-few doctoral theses have been written on that topic!

I need to point out the lovely filigree choker from Strength & Charm that Blue gave me for my rez-day. This is such a delicate little bronze-gold beauty, with three glittering emeralds. This wonderful dress comes in two styles with this duo tone design and a solid red design. The fur shoulder piece is attached to the dress, somewhat limiting your options, however it’s still a lovely dress to be seen in!

Today, I am showing you the necklace and one of the bracelets from Beloved Jewelry, one of my favourite makers. This set includes not only these two pieces but also matching earrings, hair sticks, and a tiara! And it was a L$1 hunt item! What a fabulous, generous designer!

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary last weekend, and our wonderful sisters at Eden put on a lovely party for us today! A special thanks to our great friend Dana for DJing the event!
I thought I would let you know what I was wearing for a lovely few hours dancing with Aeon and all our guests. The beautiful champagne colored dress is from Azul, who makes just the most amazing clothes. My jewelry is from Beloved, one of my favorite designers in SL. And hair is A&A, also a fav.
In the second picture, Aeon and I are wearing matching bracelets from JCNY and our ring, which was designed and made by my beautiful Aeon!
