Here’s a lovely little gown that I picked up from Azul! Iroha is a beautiful satiny gown in a very eastern-inspired floral print. As is most of Azul‘s wares now, the gown is done in fitmesh with add-on flexies for that perfect dance motion.
Those of you who have followed me know that I love my foil flash tattoo from Alaska Metro <3. The Iroha gown’s low-cut back perfectly frames the tattoo’s central medallion. It should similarly showcase any large back tattoo!
I have a soft spot for cute… and then I just go nuts and keep tossing things at an outfit to make it cuter, lol
So here I’ve done my usual thing and just gone totally to town with everything except the kitchen sink. This first one is my unicorn look, with three major pieces from three vendors with three different unicorn patterns.
The Hawt jacket from Promagic comes in 30 prints, as singles and a fatpack, and is just for Maitreya mesh. I added some cute lace cuffs from Sweet Thing to it. The jacket fits just right to be worn without a bra or shirt underneath, if you are so inclined (as I am). The skirt is Brianna from CandyDoll, available in fatpacks of 10 solid light colors, 10 solid dark colors, and 30 patterns; or as singles, for all the major mesh bodies. It has a nice cut up one side with a long mesh tie. The shoes/socks are the Smexy Babydoll Heels by Candy Kitten, in fatpacks for 12 solids, and 12 patterns, for all major mesh bodies.
Now if you want silly cute, I got that too! The basis for this one is the Crazy Kawaii outfit from Envious. It is old school, for system bodies, but hey does that stop me? Not on your life! I use all the mesh bits and then add my own mesh top and skirt and there you go, one super silly (but cute) outfit.
The mesh bits of Crazy Kawaii come in five sizes and include the winged headband, arm and leg warmers, hoove boots, and backpack. I supplemented these with an applier top from Butterfly Design’s Pauline outfit; and my fave full perm skirt, Angel from Gunshot. For the latter, I textured it to match the knit pattern of the Pauline top.
Accessories: Betsy Garters by Avaway; High Elf Lace Collar by Zenith; Armour Waist Chain and Seacrest Waist Chain by La Sirena (Marketplace store); Applier Stockings from Stuff My Turkey by Strive Design (Marketplace link)
To round out this round, here is a sweet-but-not-too-sweet ensemble built around the Celebrity Rebel leather jacket by Dirty Princess. This features exquisite detailing all around, and a proudly open front to display… whatever bra or shirt you might choose to wear. Or not. In this case I chose to wear (barely) one of my full perm bras from Cool Big Bird along with the Angel skirt from Gunshot which I textured to match the jacket’s color and patterns. The shoes are Candy Kitten’s Fairy Princess Heels that include the garters.
The jacket features a texture HUD of 20 pastel colors and a metal changer of silver and gold; it comes for Maitreya, Slink, and TMP mesh bodies. The shoes come with 14 styles in a HUD and are for all the major mesh bodies.
Accessories: Hip bows from Kawaii Babygirl Princess by Dirty Princess; Heart Charm Necklace by Bowtique (Marketplace link); Giftwrap Garters and Lolita Lace Cuffs from Sweet Thing; Armour Waist Chain and Seacrest Waist Chain by La Sirena (Marketplace store); Lollipop Guild Necklace by Violet Voltaire
Among the fun things I get to do in Second Life is be a DJ for Sisters of Eden, a wonderful women’s club. On my weekly gigs I like to always have a theme and build a set decoration, as well as dress appropriately. Today I did a Sands of Egypt theme, and so of course had to do another mix and match (maxing out my attachments *again*).
I’m standing just inside the entrance to a grand pyramid, with steps leading down into the inner depths, where the dance floor awaits!

Is that the bell I hear tolling? Is it tolling for me? Eeeeeek!
Sometimes a photo shoot takes you in a direction you hadn’t intended but you end up there as you go along. Such is the case here, where the outfits and settings lent themselves to a, shall we say, ladies of the evening sort of look.
The idea, though, was to do another highlight of how mixing and matching things from your existing wardrobe can give you new looks or new creative ideas. In these shots you can see in terms of accessories and the like there is a lot of crossover. So when you are thinking, “Hmm I want to wear something black, what can I put together?” start sifting through the inventory drawers and experimenting to see what you come up with. You might find yourself going down a whole different path than you had planned. 🙂

Spoooooky! And maybe a li’l bit sexy too… Neverwish serves up a nice little treat for you, with the KittyButt outfit. It includes Bento kitty ears, the top, a thong, and a skirt with an integrated Bento kitty tail. One cool feature of this set is that as the tail and skirt are one item, when the tail bobs up and down with the animation, the skirt part it is attached to moves with it in a nice natural way.
KittyButt is for Maitreya bodies and is available in 10 colors, with a hud for changing 2 trim colors and 6 fur colors. The bracelets are a separate item but come with a hud with matching colors to KittyButt.
Sometimes you find outfits that are simply gorgeous but are not necessarily practical to wear out and about. Such is the case with my two offerings here from Moon Amore, the Midnight Illusion Cinderella gown and the Angelic Souls gothic lolita outfit. Both feature stunning designs that appear to float on the wind, making for some stunning pictures. Alas, as they are static mesh pieces, they also do not actually float and thus bounce around as you stand with your AO on or when walking. But they look pretty! And thus I had to take some pictures with them for you. 🙂
The Midnight Illusion gown comes in five colors, in a single mesh size, so one needs to play around a bit to make sure it will fit. I was able to successfully fit it to my Maitreya body. And of course I am waiting here for my true love to cross the bridge to me…
I came across this lovely net top at the Liaison Collaborative event, and just squeaked it in to the blog – the event is only through the 26th so don’t wait on this one!
I am not generally a fan of the off-the-shoulder look but this one, Aly by Baiastice, just seemed to work really well to me. It comes in 12 colors, with and without the bra, plus a fat pack with four additional colors and the ability to mix and match the bra colors.
Aloha, my friends! A couple of treasures to share and a couple of events to mention on this lovely Friday! First, let me share the Lady Tiana gown from Silvan Moon Designs, exclusive for Enchantment! Enchantment takes you to the New Orleans bayou celebrating The Princess and the Frog, and Solas and Bee have created the perfect gown in commemoration!
It’s still summer, still time to be a bit Bohemian and casual… and here are three outfits designed to do just that.
For a light and casual feel one can try out the Rhapsody top and skirt combo available from ArisArisB&W, which comes in six colors of pretty floral patterns with a HUD. The top features cute tassel trim along the hem of the top. Fits are provided for all major mesh bodies.
For a little darker, somewhat rich velvety look, good choices are items from Oubliette, including the Burnout Velvet Kimono top and Brujah Maxi skirt.
The top is available in five individual colors and includes an optional shirt in six colors. The skirt is available in six individual colors. There are also fat packs for both pieces, and fits for all the major mesh bodies are included.
Mixing and matching things is always something I love to do, and here is a fun example of that. The main parts of the ensemble are from the Arwen gacha set from Giz Seorn, available at the current Epiphany event. It consists of a lovely blouse, a bikini bottom (each available in thirteen colors, plus three rare colors for the top), and a gypsy belt and a gypsy necklace, each available in three colors. The outfit is Maitreya only, and while the components are available on Marketplace from resellers, those rare tops with the pretty patterns run some hefty Lindens. So if you are fond of gachas you may want to run over to Epiphany while you can and try your luck! I matched the Arwen set with flexi skirts from Caverna Obscura’s Starlight outfit, which while quite beautiful as it’s own outfit, made the perfect compliment to the Arwen gypsy look.

That would be Magika hair, one of my happy hair places! Today I’d like to show you a selection of their offerings, both long and short, including one of my favorite hair pieces (which you will have seen in some of my previous postings).
Magika used to have a somewhat spread-out and confusing store but this year they moved to new quarters where all the products are in one easier to navigate space. In addition, all of the hair pieces have been combined into fat packs with all of the colors, 120 to be exact, in four included HUDs.
Let’s start with my happy hair, HoneyWhiskey, a nice almost Marilyn Monroe-esque casual style:
