It’s been a long time since I’ve posted an outfit for the kemono, and even longer since I’ve posted one that only fits the default body, which I hardly ever wear.
Eleran’s Crafts is celebrating ten years in SL with a room full of FREE outfits, for guys, girls, and kemonos 🙂 This armor caught my eye just for the absolutely fantastic detailing. This is the best copper I’ve ever seen in SL
There are a ton of pieces to this outfit, and I won’t detail them all. All of the attachments are modify though, so you can resize them to fit (I only had to resize the belt for this). The top, pants, and suspenders are kemono specific.
You should definitely pay a visit if fantasy is your thing. There lots of outfits to chose from, and you’re sure to find something you like!
Time is running short on Fantasy Faire 2021, but there are still so many things to find, so many sights to see!
I get to show you a few treasures here that I picked up at the Faire. One, I confess, is not available if you don’t already have it: the dark skin I’m wearing is the Hel Draugr skin from Fallen Gods. It’s a special edition, available only for Alia Baroque’s Jail-and-Bail fundraiser last Friday evening.
It made the perfect match to the sleek Valkyrie Spirit bodysuit from *Lurve*. Lurve’s Faire store in Khol Dracys has a number of lovelies for you, and Valkyrie Spirit is definitely my favourite. It includes the unrigged helm and bracers, and both of these have just wonderful materials. The specular reflection is just PERFECT — I look like I’m wearing real steel on my forearms and head.
I added a few other bits that are a little harder to see. GERMINAL has some lovely tattoos at the Faire, and you might be able to catch a glimpse of the Lamia foot tattoo on my calves. It’s a lovely black swirly bit, and seemed to fit well on my Valkyrie — a nice subtle bit against the darker limbs of Alia’s draugr skin. I also included the Corrupted eyes from A.D.D. Andel. I have a feeling I’ll be adding these eyes to some of my other exotic skin outfits!
My wings are from Bare Rose, who does not have a booth at the faire, but I wanted to point these out because they’re my favourite bento angel/feathered wings. I have them in white, but they’re modify, so you can go in and adjust colour and specularity. So making some steel-grey metallic wings is easy. I’ve been able to match them to a whole bunch of different outfits.
There’s still a few more things to come from the Faire. Please stop by, spend an hour or two or ten… and help support Relay for Life’s fight against Cancer.
We can hold back the Unweaver!
I think that Fantasy Faire is about protection and about memory — we raise money to help end cancers, and we remember all those that we have lost along the way. Alia Baroque was inspired by this when he created Valhalla, the Fallen Gods-sponsored sim at the Fairegrounds. And appropriately, there have been a number of Norse-inspired outfits and poses that I’ve come across at the Fairegrounds.
Today I get to show you the very well-detailed Amnerystunic from .Viki.. Amnerys is perfect for a Viking or other medieval timeframe or roleplay. It comes in 8 different animal hide options, so you’re sure to find something that suits your look. I really liked the Dark Goat!
The Faire will be coming to a close this weekend… it’s always so hard to part with such a magical place. It’s more than a shopping event, it’s a community event. I hope that you have had the opportunity to enjoy it. If not.. there’s still time!
There’s no sound in the wood but for the rustle of the leaves in the breeze, the song of birds… but a fierce battle cry is the last thing an interloper would hear.
We start the second and final week of Fantasy Faire 2021! The events are done, and now it’s just shopping and dancing and enjoying. It’s a more relaxed feeling at the Faire this week, but for the frantic dash to hit all the stores before the Faire closes!
I found this wonderful viking tunic and boots from R3D Studio. The two pieces are sold separately, but certainly work wonderfully well together. The Einar tunic is sized for Maitreya/Legacy/Perky/Hourglass/Venus bodies, and comes in a whole bunch of different colours. The Runar boots are sized for Maitreya, Legacy, Slink and Belleza, and come in black, brown, and Beige. I added some lovely leggings from Silvan Moon Design’s Daughter of Olaf outfit. You can find Silvan Moon Designs at Tempest Bay at the Fairegrounds.
Hey, for those of you who like taking pics, don’t forget to check out Poseidon poses in Valhalla. All of the poses in today’s set are from the Tauriel and Valkyrie sets, and both come with a few props (like my knife)!
There’s still a week left to enjoy the Faire! Come and explore! Shop! And support Relay for Life’s fight against Cancer!
Unlike most of my shots during the Faire, this was not shot on the lovely sims that the Fantasy Faire creators have brought to life, but I want you to focus on the outfit, not on my surroundings!
I have a beautiful kimono set from Sakka’s Studio to show you today. Kosode is a wonderful set, with kimono, nagoya obi, hair bow. I’ve added the Obuto Zori footwear to go with it. It’s such a wonderful combo.
Sakka’s Studio has a wide array of Japanese period clothing, all very well-textured and well-rigged. There are a multitude of beautiful patterns and colours to choose from, or save yourself from impossible choices and get the fatpack. It is Fantasy Faire, after all, and part of all sales go to support Relay for Life’s fight against cancer. The more you spend, the more you help out!
Oh, and one more lovely little thing — a beautiful little wah, a Red Pandafrom Manticore. It’s the most adorable little thing, and the perfect companion to follow along at your heels!
Right now, we know of almost 5000 planets in 3500 planetary systems… gas giants, burning rocks, frozen worlds… and perhaps some ocean worlds, with waters gently lapping at alien shores. What life basks in the glow of those distant suns?
I recently picked up a wonderful new swim cossie to share with you. The Kioke one-piece suit from Belzebubble is a beautiful one-piece despite being labelled as a “bikini”. It’s a beautifully rigged mesh suit in fitmesh for Maitreya Lara, Maitreya Petite, Legacy, and Legacy Perky. Each body has two versions, depending on how much nipplage you want to show.
The cossie has a nice HUD with colour choices for the pain suit, back, and trim. It’s a standard Belzebubble HUD, which I personally feel could be improved by a wider variety in colour choices: there’s only two each blue and green options, while nearly one-third of the HUD is pink and coral options. That said, there’s sure to be choices here that you’ll love, and a suit rigged for Lara Petite is a great option!
One of the things I’m most excited about is finding a look that works well with some of my exotic skins from Fallen Gods. FG has a number of mer-inspired skins, and this is Oceanica Indian Argentum. It’s one of my favourites, but one I don’t wear too frequently — I’m glad to have a new suit to show it off!
The greatest gift of spring is hope. Hope of warmth, hope of light, hope of life, hope of growth. I search for hope where I can find it, in my friends and loved ones, in my work, in my surroundings… and hold on to that hope to sustain me against the dark. Hope is here to be found…. hope remains.
Welina mai kākou! Hau‘oli Pō’akahi! Aloha my friends, Happy Monday!
It seems disingenuous, perhaps, to talk of ‘Happy Monday’ at a time when the weight of the pandemic may be falling heavy on many of us… but I hold on to the joys of happiness to sustain me, and hope that you find a little joy here.
I picked up the lovely Niika gown from Spyralle for the $30L special on Saturday! It’s a beautiful little gown in the standard five sizes of rigged mesh plus three sizes of ‘fitmesh’. This is an older piece: this is not mesh body fitmesh, but rather fitmesh variations designed around the standard body. That said, you can probably find a variant that looks good with some appropriate use of alpha zones. The Fitmesh B size worked pretty well on my Maitreya Lara body, my biggest difficulty is the same I always have with the standard five size mesh: my chest is on the smaller size (me and my A-cups) and that generally leaves to much space in the bust. I really love the Fern texture, and I would love if Kerryth might use this texture for a fitmesh version!
I didn’t intend on creating a Spyralle-heavy shoot, but the Spring Leaf necklace and earrings just worked perfectly here. Kerryth has a lot of beautiful green jewelry!
Aloha kākou! Happy Hump Day! I picked up the lovely Library Dress from Java Fashion Designs, and thought I’d share it with you! It comes in all your favourite fitmesh and rigged mesh sizes, and in a variety of textures.
It felt so wonderfully ’60s that I thought I’d add a nice little pair of boots and some beautiful bangles from a set from RaMp to complete the look The Hatsune hair from *ARGRACE* has a texture hud for the kerchief/hairband… it’s just perfect for the feel.
I hope that your week is going well! Keep the peace, the aloha in your heart! Aloha kākou! A hui hou!
The Barcelona windlight was used.
I am wearing:
•Java Fashion Designs — Library Girl (green) Dress (Lara/Freya/Isis/Venus/Physique/Hourglass/Curvy/Fine/Tmp/Ocacin/Ebody fitmesh, plus standard five sizes rigged mesh)

A forgotten photograph, from years long ago… a moment stolen out of time. Who was she? Was she on her way somewhere? A Sunday outing? Enjoying an warm day in a cold long winter? What stories are locked in her glance?
Hau’oli Pō‘alima Aloha kākou! Happy Aloha Friday, everyone! I have a beautiful period gown from Silvan Moon Designs for this month’s edition of We Love Role Play. The Lady Berdy gown is available in seven lovely period-appropriate colours, and comes in fitmesh for the Lara and Physique bodies.
The Fifth Avenue 1919 hat felt like the perfect complement for the gown, in colour and style. It’s available in four different colours, and can be tinted to match your outfit just right.
I wish you all a very happy weekend, full of peace and relaxation if you can. Aloha kākou! A hui hou!
Aloha kākou! Hello, everyone! Silvan Moon Designs has a beautiful gown for the latest round of Enchantment this month, the Princess Buttercup exclusive for the Princess Bride round at Enchantment this month. Princess Buttercup is available in six lovely shades, and comes in fitmesh for the Lara and Physique bodies.
I’ve paired it with the beautiful Pearl & Diamond Butterfly necklace and earring set from Alyssa Bijou Jewelry. It’s a little bit luminous and a lot classy!
