I used to follow a designer called Ana Markova back a few years ago, but the number of new creations dropped when fitted mesh clothing started to become the norm.  Not giving up hope, I’ve continued to visit her store every now and then, and today I noticed a group gift that I didn’t have.  Admittedly, it’s from 2018, but it’s still available in-store!  There is a L$100 fee to join the group, but there are a number of past group gifts available, as well as some gifts for members of SLF&O which I’ve blogged before.

The skirt and top are separates and come sized for Lara, Freya, Venus, Isis, Physique, and Hourglass. The skirt is a little clippy around the legs in poses, and it’s difficult to fix it with the Lara alpha cuts.  Unfortunately an alpha is not supplied, but it would be trivial to make one in these days of BoM.

This dress is by Ana Markova, one of my favorite dress makers in SL.  As it’s a free giftie, the mesh is a little dated, and only comes in standard sizes, plus fitmesh for Lara, Physique, and the original Belleza.

But as usual with Ana’s clothing, the textures are super!

Today I’m showing you the July group gift from Ana Markova.  Most of Ana’s past group gifts are all available at her in-world store, and while the group is L$100 to join, a single outfit like this makes it very much worth it!  And there are over 30 gifts available, with a few for SLF&O too!

The top and skirt are separates so can be worn independently.  There are sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Physique, Hourglass, and Lara.  There are no classic sizes.

As usual with Ana’s work, the texturing is superb.  The shine on the skirt, while only a texture highlight (not materials) is really convincing!  I love her work, and I own quite a few outfits by her.  If you’ve never checked out her store, it’s very much worth your time if you’re after that sophisticated look.

Today I’m showing you the summer group gift from one of my fav dress makers in SL: Ana Markova.  This gift is currently avail in store (as are a huge bunch of previous group gifts) and is yours when you join Ana’s group.  The group is L$100 to join, but a dress of this quality on marketplace would cost you twice that!

The dress comes in fitmesh for Hourglass, Physique, Freya, Isis, Venus, and Lara.  The harness and chain are included.  There are no standard sizes.

Something about this outfit shouts “Doctor!” to me.  So here we are at the emergency room 🙂

The top and pants are separate (I already have mix’n’match ideas for the pants grins) and are in standard mesh sizes plus fitmesh for Slink Physique and Hourglass.

As this is white (another not so friendly colour for redheads) I’ve used the opportunity to showcase another gift from FaMESHed, this great little hairstyle from Wasabi Pills.  FaMESHed runs until the 27th of May, so you still have time to run over there!

This is the SLF&O Spring Gift from Ana Markova.  It comes with an optional chain and harness which you can wear together or separately.  Just in case your partner likes that Springsteen song “Pony Boy Girl” I guess 🙂

It comes in fitmesh sizes for Isis, Freya, and Venus, Physique and Hourglass, and Maitreya.  There are no standard rigged mesh sizes or fitmesh for classic.

I’m also showing off one of the gifts from FaMeshed, a lovely hairstyle from Mina.  The gift is only in this color at the event, but comes with color HUDs in-store.  Check out Mina, they do some very nice hairstyles!

I know Halloween is over, but I just got around to unpacking this SLF&O Halloween group gift from Ana Markova, and it’s so cute I just can’t wait for an appropriate event to show it to you!

The outfit is in what appears to be system specific fitmesh in standard sizes.  I tried it on Lara but it has the problem a lot of non-specific mesh stuff has with Lara and won’t fit tight around the pelvis.  So here we have it on system.

The included alpha has a significant issue, so I’m wearing without an alpha, and it seems to be just fine that way.  No clipping anywhere (which is what makes me think it’s system specific fitmesh).

The horns and the wings are included.  I just need a tail and a pitchfork!

I want to highlight the creator of my skin again too.  Lumiya Rae, owner of Lumae, makes fantastic skins at reasonable prices!  This is the freckled option of my normal Adore Peach Bare skin, the one I wear every day.  When I’m not being all formal and hiding freckles under makeup, I wear a freckle tattoo on my face to add some interest.  I’m not really the pale freckly one (that’s Aeon) so I generally wear a non-freckled skin.  But I was playing with this option of the skin for the face freckles the other day, and I thought I would show you a close-up so you can see just how good Lumae skins are.  I highly recommend them!

This leather dress comes in standard sizes and a one-size-fits-all fitmesh version, which is the one I’m wearing here on Lara.  Goodness I love finding locations, and this dress, especially after I matched it with the necklace, started prompting me to find a location that suggested witches and magic.  I have a landmark folder that I store locations in for photos and I knew I had the perfect one in there!  And yes!  And as a bonus, everyone has rez rights there, so it’s easy to do a pose stand and lighting.  I love how some people are so trusting!  If you come across sims like this and take advantage of them for photos, make sure you clean up your objects before you leave, so that the owners will keep them set so people can rez in the future!

The detailing and textures on this are excellent.  You can’t see it as it’s hidden by my hair, but there’s a zipper detail down the back of the dress that’s just amazing.  Another wonderful outfit from Ana!
