When you say ‘silks’, most people in SL might think of swishing gauzy pieces of next-to-nothing, but Spyralle brings us the lovely Silk Road, with this lovely Snow Moon colour scheme as a current group gift. I changed my hair to the shorter ‘Taylor’ cut by Calico for this rear-view, so as to show off the lovely collar detail.

We had a fun little leather competition the other day, and I finally splurged on a set of leather chaps I’ve had my eye on for ages. With a couple of sploder wins and other things recently I thought it was a good excuse to buy them. Then of course I had to find a motorcycle sim to photograph them 🙂

The group is L$100 to join, but you’d be hard pressed to find a quality dress like this on the marketplace for less that a couple of hundred, so it’s well worth it in my opinion.
Second Life gives you the opportunity to do things you really wouldn’t do in Real Life. I’d never get this tattoo in RL, but ohh it looks nice in SL! This is one of the first things I made in SL, and I’m still happy with it and wear it a lot with goth outfits and so forth. The tattoo is supplied on upper system clothing layers and comes with an Omega applier for most mesh bodies.

Back to winter, here’s another wonderful little present from under the tree at Maitreya Gift, Sales & News group. This lovely pullover will certainly keep me warm all winter. It comes in six standard size fitmeshes from XXS to L and fitmesh for Maitreya and Belleza. Also included is a HUD with some texture and colour options.
This year, I tried to limit myself to advent boards that hand out presents for either the 12 days of Christmas or the 25 days leading up to it, as last year I ended up with so much stuff, I still haven’t opened some of it! I was careful to pick and choose from a few select stores, including Chop Zuey and a couple of other favourites.
