Here’s a fun little turtle chin dress from American Beauty at Shiny Shabby. The dress is in standard size rigged mesh, and works well with Lara with no tweaking other than alphas. This is a free gift!
The White Armory knows…. and brings a weekly group gift for us, a gift of Winter Starlight. I know I teased you last week with a White Armory gift that had just gone off, but this one is there in-store for you right now, for the next week!
The White Armory – Winter Starlight gown (group gift, 2016/02/28)
Winter Starlight consists of standard layers and mesh and prim pieces. I do love prim skirts, they swirl and flutter so prettily! The overskirt for this is transparent with sparkling stars that flutter around me like fireflies, like snowflakes.
The wings are non-scripted but quite beautiful, and have a natural wave to them as you move, walk, or dance. They come in both glow and non-glow options.
I would be remiss not to mention this new updo, on special now at Alli & Ali, at half-price for group members!
One more, my favourite, a little slice of contrasts….
“I am grey, I stand between the candle and the star –
we are grey, we stand between the darkness and the light.”
This was my outfit for yesterday’s themed party at Eden. Sometimes with Second Life fashion, you just have to mix things up and see what works. This outfit is a complete mishmash of items from about ten different sources, including four jewelry makers, an old pair of system pants, boots from a lingerie set, and even a hat from the library!
This took some time to put together, in particular the sword belt, which is a large linkset. Edit linked and move and rotate every little piece of the sword one at a time omg! Don’t forget to take a backup of something you are editing like this!
Let’s see if I can detail some of this 🙂
Jacket, vest and shirt: This is mesh, but I have absolutely no idea where it’s from. Given to me by friend Dana over 12 months ago and the creator mentions no store or marketplace links in their profile.
Pants and red sash: From Lady Buccaneer by The Bottom Line (marketplace link)
While talking to Sorcha at Nevermore Designs earlier, she let me have a sneak peek at what’s coming up at the Secret 60 event for the weekend. The dress and jeans come in all the standard sizes, and the jeans include shapes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink Physique and Hourglass. I’m wearing this on Maitreya Lara, and I had to change my shape to get this to work for me. I’m pretty hourglass-y shape-wise, so I had to slim down in the (hates this word) saddlebag area 🙂
The top is fairly uniform black, including the belt detail, so here’s a closeup.
And again, the pack includes footwear, this time heels for Slink Highs!
All three pieces are included in the box at the event, for the unbelievably cheap price of L$60. Run and get yours!
A slate blue dress that is! There are so many events on at the moment, I’m overwhelmed. I had to ask Sorcha Jinx – the creator of the dress – to remind me which event she was featuring at so I could tell you! D’oh!
The dress is rigged mesh in standard sizing and the calf high boots are included! The dress has a lovely little ruffle detail at the bodice. And neither Sorcha and I could figure out which event it was at! She thought it was the Secret 60 event, but I’m not so sure? As she said “Oh goodness! It’s been a busy month!”
Dress and boots: Slate Blue Seduction with Class Dress by Nevermore Designs
There are a lot of events going on at the moment, including Shiny Shabby (if you can get in!) I scored these jeans there yesterday, and wanted to show them to you. I’ve matched them with a wonderful little ribbed tank top that I got from a Midnight Mania board (but the item is available in-store). Hope you like the look 🙂
Jeans: Boyfriend Jeans (Teal Blue) Lara Fitmesh by COCO
I liked my lighting so much from yesterday that I thought I’d photograph this babydoll with it too! This is from Bonita Wear available on market place. It comes on system layers but also has appliers for Slink, Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and TMP.
