Diva is celebrating their 6th anniversary is SL with this lovely gown and hair free gift for group members!  Congratulations Marisa!

The gown is in standard rigged mesh, and the texturing is very very nice.  Being full mesh it’s not wonderful for dancing or large movements, but it looks lovely walking.  The addition of a flexi overskirt adds a little swish.

The hair is umm what can I say?  Super?  Great?  Fantastic?  This is just one look.  There are multiple parts to this, and I will do a post on it so I can show you all the looks available with just one hair when the creator designs cleverly as Diva has!  Oh and did I mention it has a fatpack texture change for thirteen colors and options?  Wow, it surely deserves a post of its own!

I don’t know about you, but Advent leaves me with a mess of an inventory that I slowly work my way through!  Baby Monkey had a delightful suite of gifts for Advent 2016, including the lovely Raffaela sweater dress and boots. 

You’ve seen me with .wound‘s ribbon choker before — it’s one of my favourite pieces.  It comes in three different HUD-driven palettes — vibrant, dark (shown) and a neutrals.  Each one comes with unscripted and RLV versions.  Unfortunately, while the RLV version works, it’s an older RLV script and is not updateable.   Nevertheless, this is the best ribbon I’ve found!

The high suede boots have a lovely little shroud at the heel.  Maybe not practical in the snowy slush… but oooo so cute!

Yes, I can celebrate the ice and snow one day and the warmth and the surf the next — or a couple days later, anyway!  Spyralle‘s lovely mu’umu’u is perfect for enjoying the late afternoon Sun.  And it’s just perfect to welcome Oahu back to SL.  I don’t know how long it’s been back, but this happy little sim holds a place dear to my heart, and I was sad when it closed up about a year ago!

I tend to keep things sorted into full outfits in my inventory.  I’m not too great at mix and match as I can much better remember an outfit rather than a single piece of clothing.  I dutifully file separates away if they’re good, and sometimes I’ll go though them when I’m looking for something different to wear.  That was the case with these mesh shorts.

The package contains standard sizes in rigged mesh, plus fitmesh for Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, Lara, Curvy, and TMP.  It also have a great little HUD which allows you to change the fabric texture, the belt and buckle colors, and the belt loops.

The detailing is quite nice.  While this is Lara fitmesh, there are some little breakthrough issues along the lower hem.  I’ve done minor retouches to these pics, but I suspect you could easily tweak your shape to get things just right.

Racing!

I was exploring the other day and clicked on a free gift offer and was amazed to receive a working go kart!

Cars and planes go a little fast for me in SL 🙂  Sailing is more my speed.  But they sure make wonderful photo props!

Having said that, I did drive around the track after I’d finished the photo shoot 🙂  Just like my Porsche, the go kart is radically fast and has massive oversteer hehe, but it’s sure a bit of fun!

I know, Christmas passes and many of us take down the lights, we put away decorations, we start thinking of spring…. but spring is a long way away, and Winter still has a lot of beauty to share.  Glitter has a lot of beauty to share, too — Queen of Ice was one of their Advent gifties, and it’s too beautiful to keep to myself.  🙂

Queen of Ice features Omega and Belleza appliers with beautiful flexi add-on bits for the gown and veils.  It features a high neckline which let me get away with the beautiful Heart of the Sea from Zuri, a beautiful gift from a more beautiful friend.  Heart features a HUD with a choice of gemstones!

There is a lot of sparkle in the Winter… icicles and snowflakes.. and while we may get tired of the cold, remember that the heat will come all too soon.  The magic is all around us!

The deco is for a jungle themed party, and I couldn’t resist posing with my leopard friend here!

A ranger for a silvan moon

A silvan moon?  Is that like a Forest moon?  or a little nod to the passing of Gene Cernan?   Certainly the Ranger probes didn’t land among the trees.

No, it’s a desperate attempt to come up with a clever title to share Silvan Moon Designs‘s beautiful Ranger of Islavare.

Daisy Wreath from Caverna Obscura is an old favourite, but the Family Tree of Life pendant is a lovely new item from Earthstones.  It features a choice of metal options, plus three gems that are independently selectable from the “standard” set of birthstone colours.

Ranger of Islavare is featured in five different colours — four of which are shown here.  Shadow (shown at the top) is a lovely black theme, and below you can see Hunter (sagey green), Brooke (dark blue), and Rune (aqua).  There’s also Secret, a beautiful dark red (not shown).

Ranger features the dress, leggings, cloak and matching boots (not shown here).  Dress and leggings are available in the five standard rigged sizes plus standard, Slink Physique and Maitreya fitmeshes.  There are also standard layer and Slink, Belleza, and Maitreya appliers for the leggings to help you work better with legging/boot conflicts.

Another dress that’s been hiding in my unopened folder, this one’s by Rowena Springflower.

It comes in standard sizes, fitmesh for classic sizes, and specific fitmesh sizes for Maitreya, Belleza, and Slink Physique.  While this is fitmesh for Lara, there are a few breakthrough issues that are really difficult to deal with on the Maitreya HUD due to the neckline.  One of the classic sizes in fitmesh maybe better (and of course you could tweak your shape to deal with it too).

The absolutely fantastic necklace is included, and there is a six color HUD for the dress and the necklace.
