Scandalize rearranged their region a while ago, and it’s sort of been confusing. I keep ending up at ground level on an empty beach when I visit, and have to cam to where I want to go. The main store now seems to be part of the Vanity Event, a “monthly” event that seems to be open all the time. There are a number of stores represented at the event.
Scandalize has group gifts at the Vanity Event’s landing point, and a teleporter to the area containing over two hundred of their past group gifts (yes, that’s why I recommend newcomers find the L$20 join fee for the group… instant wardrobe!)
This cute sexy robe is one of the two Scandalize group gifts at the landing point. It’s sized to fit Lara, Lara Petite, Legacy, Legacy Perky, and Reborn.
The robe comes with a fatpack HUD with twenty plain colors for the main fabric, and five patterns. You can also color the seams and bow from the same twenty five plains (the pattern’s backgrounds are available for the seams and bow).
And it has not one, but two levels of animated glitter, which makes it super eye-catching. I’ve photographed it with the glitter on, but for the real wow factor, you have to see it in-world, it’s stunning!
I’ll certainly be wearing this as a coverup for some lingerie events at Eden when I make my entrance 🙂

I went to Blueberry’s main store to look for something to buy with my credit so I could do this post, and how could I go past this bodysuit? It’s part of a new set of clothes called “Spotlight”, which includes jeans, a jacket, and boots. My L$300 gift was not going to get me very far with the full outfit, but as I liked the bodysuit anyway, and as it’s probably the most versatile piece, the bodysuit it was!
It’s L$250 for a single color (that sneaky L$50 left over again!), but there are fatpacks, mega packs, and tops, jackets, and jeans packs, all available for various prices.
The bodysuit is sized to fit Lara, Lara Petite, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Physique. It comes with a HUD allowing you to set the fabric to sheer or opaque, and to adjust the waist length. This last feature makes it super useful, not only as a bodysuit, but also as a top! And it’s tight fitting enough so that it should easily go under whatever mesh jeans you have, making it suitable for a range of outfits!

I’m a sucker for anything with corset lacing. When I visited ZK Store armed with a L$300 gift card available at SLB19 and saw this dress, the decision on what to spend my gift on was easily made.

A number of creators at SLB19 are giving gift cards (or store credit) to all comers. I really like the idea of doing this, because you get a gift you’ll actually enjoy and use, because you pick it yourself. On a more cynical note, I suspect creators love this idea too, because they get you to their store, and generally the credit is set up so that you have some left over after a purchase, tempting you to top up the card to use the remaining credit 😉
One of the creators giving away credit is vagrant. Surprisingly, I only have one other thing from them in my inventory, and I can’t remember where I got it from, so this is the first time I’ve actually visited their store. They have some very well done outfits and their entire store is currently discounted by 50%!
This outfit caught my eye.
The top and the shorts are sold separately, and both are priced at L$200 (with the discount). Fortunately the gift was L$500, as normally, even with the discount, I’d hesitate before spending L$400 on a single outfit.

The top has a HUD that lets you select a color for the base fabric. The shorts HUD has the same fabric selection, plus a whole lot of options. You can select colors for the panties and pockets, and you can hide or show both (I’m not showing the pockets in these photos, but you can set a bunch of little sayings on them too). The shorts are also adorned with some sparkly gemstones, which (in my opinion, fortunately) you can hide too.

This top and skirt are separates and are sized to fit Lara, Legacy, and Reborn. The outfit also comes with a set of puffy elbow sleeves, which I’ve chosen not to wear.

Hair Fair is open today! It runs until the 10th of July, so there is tons of time to visit.
There is a small number of FREE gifts available, and for me the standout was this updo bun. It’s only in browns, but it does have a tint HUD, which allowed me to get a dark red.
The hairdo comes in four different styles and includes a variety of differently styled bangs as well. It’s unrigged and therefore resizable and you can reposition it. The HUD includes a selection of mostly dark browns, and with the mesh detailing and the ability to turn materials on provided by the HUD, produces a nice realistic look!
As I mentioned, there is a tint HUD included, but the base colors are dark browns, which mostly resist tinting, so if you’re exclusively a blonde, this one’s not for you 🙂
Oh, and Hair Fair supports Wigs For Kids, a worthy charity. Don’t forget to buy your bandana while you’re at the event!
This is the standout dress from SLB19 today (actually, I shopped yesterday)! I’ve now done thirteen of the twenty sims that make up the shopping event.
I don’t think I’ve mentioned yet that the theme for the celebration is “steampunk”. This genre holds no massive appeal for me (although I appreciate some of the decorations that people dream up for it, for example the steampunk sim at the Sci Fi Con recently). This might be the reason that I’m not noticing so many clothes as gifts… there are not a lot of people creating clothes for steampunk?
