The March We Love Role Play event has started, and Silvan Moon Designs has a lovely outfit for you.  The Lady Ariana gown comes in nine different spring-light colours, including the white shown here.

Lady Ariana comes in fitmesh for both SLink bodies as well as the Maitreaya Lara, and demos are available at We Love Role Play as well as a fatpack with all nine colours!  There are two pieces, a bodice and skirt.  The gold brocade-type front panel is on white for all of the gowns.

I found this nice top and pants set while going through unopened boxes the other day.

The pants and top are one piece and come is fitmesh for classic, Lara. Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Curvy, and Fine.

I didn’t do a photo from the back, but the pants are nicely detailed with some sown pockets, making them just a little less plain than my photos make them out to be.  Overall, a very nice outfit!

Eden had its annual Spring Queen dance this past weekend, and it was the perfect opportunity for a new gown!  Paris METRO Couture had just the thing with Wild Bunch, a beautiful new creation in mesh and flexi.  This is the first hybrid gown that I’ve seen from Paris METRO, and I’m so glad for it.

This was the perfect gown for my Mokolea necklace and earrings set from Luminesse.  It now features the OptPlus script, so jewelry pieces can be menu adjusted for glow and/or full bright!

PM has long understood that full-mesh gowns dance so very poorly, and have always had wonderful flexi gowns with applier tops.  But as lovely as their texturing is, appliers just can’t compete with fitmesh for realism in many circumstances.  Paris METRO Couture has combined the two here, crating a mesh gown with a flexi overskirt.  Be warned: as with any good flexi gown, complexity is high, but not critically so (in my opinion): the fitmesh component comes in at about 1500, and the overskirt at nearly 200.000.  With jewelry and hair, you’re probably clearing 300.000 total.  For a beautiful ball gown, that’s pretty low!

Tigress

It’s been quite a long time since I mentioned Catseye.  A couple of years ago I did some nice photos for Catty, the owner.  I was recently there to look for something for an outfit, and would you believe it?  My letter came up on the LL board!

This tigress consists of a skin on system, and appliers for Slink and Omega.  There are two versions, one with black lips and one with natural lips.  Also included in the package are the ears, the tail, and a shape (that I’m not wearing in these pics).  All you need to find is a suitable hair et voila!

The skin is “adult”.  If there’s one thing I’d like to see Catty do more for some of these gorgeous skins is to add some cleavage options.  The major cleavage going on here is suitable for a corset top, but not really suited to a bikini or going naked.  Other than that, another wonderful skin and accessories pack from Catseye!

When you build in mesh, and you’re going to make things semi-transparent and thin, you really have to be careful about visible geometry.  I found this out when I made a wineglass.  You can easily see the triangles in the glass below:

Sadly, you sometimes see it in clothing for sale too.  Someone made this full perm model but probably never foresaw that someone would purchase it and make parts of it semi-transparent.  There are visible triangles all over.  If it was mod, you could make it opaque, but unfortunately, it’s not.

The romper comes in sizes for classic, and specific fitmesh for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Physique, Hourglass, and TMP.  Despite what I said above, it’s really quite nice, with a judicious use of materials to get a nice satin look.

Love Affair

This stunning lingerie is from one of the NGN Midnight Mania boards at Etchaflesh.  If you’re lucky, it still may be on the board, and if not, it’s available for purchase at the store for only L$199.

The lingerie is all in one piece, and comes in standard sizes, plus body specific fitmesh for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Physique, Hourglass, TMP, Curvy, and Fine.  It also comes with a 24 color HUD, with each color either with fishnet front and back and solid sides, or visa versa.  Additionally, you can change the transparency levels from fully opaque to 20, 30, or 40% transparent 🙂

There are some really tiny clipping issues at the side back panels in extreme poses, but in reality, they are nothing to worry about.

My lovely aunty Kie Dagger found the most beautiful flirty dress from -Pixiecat- and thought of me!  Dreamy comes in 10 lovely textures, two of which feature an animated overlayer!

I paired Dreamy with the new lovely iridescent Lyra leggings from Alaska Metro.  They’re in Maitreya and Omega appliers as well as standard layers, and come in six beautiful colours — three pleather and three iridescent holo shades.  You can find them at ~~Applique~~!

You can’t see it in the stills, but the little stars on the Dreamy dress are on an animated layer.  They drift serenely slowly over the nebula dress texture, in a very subtle classy way.   The other animated dress, “Clouds”, does much the same thing.

Bling Valentine

I’m glad the bling bit of the name is nothing other than that, part of the name 🙂  This is another cute dress from the Romancify Your Body Hunt, which finishes on the 28th of February, so you better hurry if you want to grab it for FREE!

The dress comes in classic sizes, plus body specific fitmesh for Lara, Isis, Freya, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP.  This is a really well rigged dress and you won’t have any problems with it even in extreme poses.

My hairstyle is also a free gift from the hunt, and is by Like Designs, on of my fav shoe creators.  Recently, they have made some forays into mesh hair, and while I really like this style for the braid, the rigging is a little lacking on the ringlets at the front (I had to retouch the last photo).

I really love to see fine mesh work and beautiful texturing come together in such a lovely package, it really sets a high bar for clothing in SL.
