Wow!  Summer classes have been keeping me busy, how much time have I let slip by without sharing?  I have a beautiful dress that I want to show you that I picked up at The Muses at We Love Role Play back in May, but it’s regularly stocked in the store now.  Daphne is a lovely wonderful little dress, just right for a dancing little fae.

Daphne comes in fitmesh for only three bodies.  I’m not sure how it will fit on Physique or the other two Belleza bodies, please try a demo!

There are 16 different textures available: ten in a lovely paisley pattern, and six in the beautiful leafy motif I’m showing you here.  You can see which is my favourite!  Say, that’s a bit cheeky….

Both palettes feature the gold lacey midriff section.  That part has transparency, so you must make sure that the demo works without using body alpha zones!

There’s always something lovely at We Love Role Play, and the anchor stores (such as The Muses) feature some really wonderful items.  Make sure you take a good look around!

Happy Birthday, Second Life!

In case you’ve been hiding under a rock, Second Life turns 15 this month!  Happy Birthday!

I made it into the shopping areas today, and here’s an outfit assembled from some of the FREE gifts various creators have on offer.

Firstly, the simple striped summer mini is from Ison and comes in sizes for Lara, Physique, Hourglass, Freya, and Isis, and includes a three color HUD to let you retexture (the other colors are a solid vivid red, and a pretty green floral pattern).

These sandals are by YS&YS, and there are versions for Lara, Slink, and Belleza feet in the package.  The texturing is really nice!

This charm bracelet is by Lapointe & Bastchild.  It has an amazing HUD with all twelve signs of the Zodiac in gold and silver, along with the twelve classic birthstones.  And if that’s not enough, there are six color selections for the stone beads!

Lastly this dog tag style necklace by Petit Chat comes in male and female versions and also has a HUD to let you select one of four colors for the metal.  What a wonderful selection of freebies by some super generous creators!

Hunt for you Inner Slut 18 is on at the moment, and goes though to the 15th of July, so there’s plenty of time for you to find the 20 items hidden around the grid!

This prize was the only one that came unboxed, so I get to show you it first 🙂

The bikini is separate top and bottoms and comes in fitmesh size for Lara, Venus, Isis, Freya, Physique, and Hourglass.  There are two HUDS (one for the top and one for the bottoms) that have the same four textures, which makes changing each piece easy but takes screen real estate until done.

The fit for Lara is very nice, and the summery textures are a treat!  Grab this and go and relax on a beach somewhere!

Hello sweets!  I found this cheeky bodysuit and awesome thigh boots on the Evil Bunny Hunt back in April.

The bodysuit comes in sizes for Lara, Venus, Isis, Freya, Physique, Hourglass, Curvy, and Fine.  Sorry you girls without one of these, this is not available for classic avis as it’s so body hugging there’s no way you’d manage to slip an alpha between yourself and it 🙂

The strapped and laced thigh boots are also rigged for the same bodies with the exception of Fine and Curvy.  I can guarantee that these boots will become a favorite of mine!

I added some tattoos and jewelry to complete this.  Bad Azz 🙂

Hello dear ones! Today I’d like to feature a few items from Addams, who are right up there on my list of truly quality clothing designers.

Let’s look first as the Carolina Women’s Wool Dress, available in 22 single colors or a fatpack with HUD. It has lovely detail that really catches the light, and the shape is very flattering. Don’t you just want to snuggle up to someone in that? In the coral color I matched it with some pretty over the knee boots from Mutresse called Kaisia, available in an 18 color HUD fatpack with lots of mix and match color parts.

And black is always nice and slimming. Here I wore the Carolina wool dress with the Chetare boots in ebony from Bella Moda.

Addams is also really good with jackets. Here is a casual denim number, Melissa, that opens up nicely around the chest to show off… whatever nice top you are wearing (insert giggle here!).  However I chose to wear my fave Blueberry tank, the Lola; and rounded it off with a neat pair of jeans called Dita from Lapointe and Bastchild (subject of a future blog!)  The Addams Melissa jacket comes in a substantial 41 single colors, or a fatpack with HUD. It has a flopped down hood in back that you can turn on or off, with 16 colors of its own.

Finally, we have a sharp looking leather jacket with woolly collar from Addams called Lulu, available in 14 single colors or a HUD fatpack. It too opens up nicely around the chest area; in this case there is an option for a bra that can be turned on and off. The bra is not quite to my taste so instead I used another goody from Lapointe & Bastchild, a retro tank top that will be in that future post too!

Ready for a night out?  This LBD will be the perfect thing!

This was a group gift from Resun back in April.  It’s in sizes for classic, and body specific fitmesh for Lara, Physique, Venus, Isis, Freya, and TMP.  It has some clipping issues around the sides of the dress which are just fixable with careful alpha cuts.  That aside, it looks really nice with some fantastic materials work.

Also, the detail at the back is really nice.  The creator has even gone to the trouble to provide little metal clips for the tie.  Very nice work 🙂

Hello lovelies!  Today I have a dress to show you that I found on the Evil Bunny Hunt back in April.  Sometimes it takes me forever to unbox everything!

This dress comes in classic mesh sizes plus fitmesh for classic, Lara, Freya, Venus, Isis, Hourglass, Physique, Ebody, Fine, Curvy, TMP, and Ocacin.  It’s very transparent lace at the top, and I’ve chosen to wear a bra with it to make it a little less naughty 🙂

The detailing is very nice for a black outfit, there are subtle details on the lower half of the dress that my pictures don’t do justice too.  A very nice wardrobe addition!

Have you been to Midsummer Enchantment yet?  Kerryth from Spyralle has a magical headpiece and collar just waiting to frame your beautiful face!

The collar has a lovely vine closure detail in the front which serves as a beautiful necklace/choker for you.  The texture HUD changes both items together, although if you wanted different colours you could wear and set them separately.

I don’t normally wear reds and pinks, they don’t tend to work well with my colouring… but this Windflower shade just worked too well with Spyralle‘s earlier Sylvia release, and I couldn’t resist dancing.

The Sun Flower / Wind Flower / Moon Flower headpieces are a lovely accent to a beautiful gown or the perfect accompaniment for your garden fae.  Stop by Midsummer Enchantment before this bloom disappears!  The faire is full of other wonderful goodies, many with a darke/gothic flavour…. and many treasures just awaiting your discovery.

That’s ‘pants’ or ‘jacket/blouse’ of course…. Hello everyone! Today I wanted to show off a selection of tops and bottoms for a range of occasions.

It’s summer! And time to be outdoors enjoying the fresh air. Nature beckons with a lovely jacket from Giz Seorn called Trixie, available in eight denim colors plus a fat pack that tosses in pretty designs such as this one. It’s available at the Vanity event. Complementing the light summer feel is a pair of my favorite jeans, Tali from Blueberry, with over 20 single colors, a fat pack, and even a separate leather fat pack.

Club time you say? How about a little bit of purple to shake things up? Returning to Blueberry again, the Bette top is very versatile, with both long and short versions and over 20 individual colors plus a fat pack. The pants are a sweet half-lace number called Toxica from Gulabi, with over 30 single colors plus a fat pack with bonus lace patterns.
