Blueberry Sweater Dress

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you’ve heard of Blueberry, one of the most popular women’s clothing designer in SL.  If you disagree with me about their popularity, just try TPing to their sim 🙂

At a recent event, Blueberry released this fantastic sweater dress.  And now they’ve made it available on marketplace for L$1.  Yes, you read that right, one Linden dollar!

There are two versions of the dress in the package, loose and tight fitting.  Both versions come in sizes for Lara, Isis, Venus, Freya, Physique, and Hourglass.

There is a massive 37 color HUD included that lets you change the colors of the dress, the trim, the back straps, and the trim on the in-built panties.  You can also alpha out the panties if you wish to wear your own.

This is a fantastic gift from Blueberry!  Hurry and get your copy!

Feeling a little bad a**? Let’s go biker girl, in all black n’ stuff!

As is my usual thing, I’ve mixed and match a ton of stuff. The main bits are the Fringe Jacket by Jrc, available in black on the Marketplace, and in pastel from the in world store; and the Lara Fringed Shorts by Ascend, available in 16 colors plus a fat pack. Both are available for all the major mesh bodies.

The devil is in the details, of course, and there are quite a few here: Denim N Bead Accessories Choker by Hudson’s, Nym Collar and Coin Necklace by Cellar Door, and the Elaine Belt and Garter by Nanika.

Oh and that motorcycle is the Cayenne Pink Female by V-Twins 🙂

Sheer Denim Delight

Our wildly talented Jazzy has been showing you some mix and match outfits she’s been doing with full perm mesh recently.  It’s all been leading up to this, her first very first product available on the martketplace!

Sheer Denim Delight is a dress ensemble for those looking to be a little bit showy 🙂  There are three versions you can select via the included HUD:

  • Everywhere-acceptable opaque denim with a lovely flower motif
  • Mostly sheer except over the important bits
  • Super sheer, with just a tiny hint of cover up – probably not suitable for G sims!

The dress is sized for Maitreya Lara only.

The sleeves are included, and so are the matching boots and necklace!

I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!

Feeling lucky at Petite Mort

This top and cardigan combo and skinny ripped jeans are on the group lucky letter boards at Petite Mort at the moment, and I was lucky enough to get both of them!  Petite Mort is FREE to join.

Both items come in sizes for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, and Physique.  The jeans also include standard sizes.

The top and cardigan is all one piece, but it comes with a HUD with eight textures and two plain for the top, and you can alpha out the top if you want to wear one of your own!

Aloha kākou!  Aloha my friends!  It’s been a long while since I got to share with you, RL can be a bear sometimes, but I’ll try not to be gone so long again.  Today I want to share a lovely dress by Spyralle at the Medieval Fantasy Faire!  Dubbed “Marshlands“, this beautiful new version of the Sybil dress is an exclusive for the event, with all proceeds going to the Relay for Life fundraising effort to support the fight against cancers.

I was rummaging around in my jewelry box looking for something just right, and found it — the Summer Leaf set, an older lovely set from Spyralle.  It’s just perfect for this look!

Spyralle‘s Sybil Marshlands is a beautiful piece, in “peacock colours” as my good friend said.  This may be my favourite palette, I couldn’t resist!

Come on out to the Medieval Fantasy Faire and take a look around.  There are many wonderful treasures, and you get to support the Relay for Life against cancer at the same time!

At any time, there are a number of hunts happening in SL.  We’re not talking animal hunts here, but hunts for hidden gifts like this dress from Grumble!  This is a hunt item in the New Year Hunt, which runs until the end of the month, so you still have a few days left to find it.

There are sizes for Lara, eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Physique, and Hourglass.  And yes, I went strawberry blonde because of the pink 🙂

Brii Underground has an in-store hunt on at the moment called Dressed For Love 2.  There are ten hunt items containing a full outfit and each is only L$6!  Yes, for a mere L$6, you get all the clothing and jewelry you see me wearing here (if you pick the same hunt item I did).

The jewelry set includes matching earrings, necklace, bracelets, and ring.  All have resizer scripts and are all low complexity while still looking nice.  My avatar’s complexity wearing this outfit is just short of 70,000.  I have a necklace alone that’s more than that lol.

The lace camisette comes in standard sizing, fitmesh for classic avatars, and body specific fitmesh for Lara, Physique, and Venus.

The matching panties and stockings come on system underwear and socks layers, and appliers for Maitreya, Slink, and Omega.

There is even a full makeup kit in an Omega applier for the Jessica Catwa head.  I was going to try it, but no, it’s not for GA.EG, although it may work.  But I’m going to bet that in no way is it redhead friendly lol.

Finally, the shoes are for high feet and come in sizes for classic avatars, and versions for Slink, Maitreya, and Belleza.

Little Red Riding hood

So I did another DJ set, this time with a forest theme… and as a follow on to my last Alice in Wonderland outfit, I did a similar one for Little Red Riding Hood 🙂

I used the same laced demi-top with half sleeves CB155 from Cool Big Bird, this time colored red (and of course still with the transparency set to be a bit sheer). I added the same shoulder puffs from the Ninianne gown by Arwen’s Creations, this time in red; and the same Lolita Lace Cuffs by Sweet Thing. In place of Alice’s apron I used the Baude skirt from Gunshot, adjusting it in color and using the lace trim. The hood is the Winter Cape from Caverna Obscura; fitting hair under such things can always be a challenge but I found the right thing, some short resizable hair, F106, from KMH available at this month’s Salon 52 hair event.

Did I mention there was nothing under this tiny skirt either? Did I need to? 😀 The boots here are the Tana Boots from Reign, along with the same lace stocking appliers I used in the Alice oufit, from !Love-Lei!.

Entice Group MM

This top is on the group-only MM board at Entice right now.

Entice is FREE to join, and while you’re there slapping the board, there’s also a non-group MM board right beside it to slap as well!

This top is a wonderful fit on Lara, and also comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Physique.  Its description calls it “Rose” but it seems more purplish to me, and suits my hair perfectly (I love it when I find redhead-friendly colors!)

Applier clothing… meh.  But you know, sometimes it can just work with the right combination of other things!  This post is really to show a recent newcomer I helped out that you can get lucky if you look, and you can find things that work together just right, without spending a lot of money.

I put this together from things I already had, and won a significant amount of money on a “Best in Uniform” contest by doing so.  Lets look at some of the things.

When Bootgasm still had an in-world store, they ran lucky chairs.  I won these boots from them.  Ditto on the pistol at the creator’s store.  And the hair was a free group gift.  The uniform and the cap cost L$35 all up.  And I think I won over L$400 in the contest!

So, with a little ingenuity, luck, and small outlay, contests can earn you a little bit of money!  And if you don’t win, at least you built up your wardrobe hehe
