Dazed

Aloha and happy Friday!  It’s fun to do something a little out of the ordinary on a Friday, and I don’t do much lingerie since Carrie’s Lingerie kinda dropped out of contact.  Fortunately, Jazabelle Boutique has Purple Daze, a lovely corset-based outfit that is lovely for lingerie or a very racy outfit for a night out… or a night on performance, perhaps?

  • Jazabelle BoutiquePurple Daze complete outfit (corset, bolero jacket, stockings, boots, thong, and necklace) (Lara fitmesh only)
  • an lar [poses]The Irie Series – Four pose

Purple is a great colour, regal and sultry…. and best of all, it works with my ginger!  I wore Samanta from Limerence for this shoot.  I picked it up at an event… alas, i don’t remember when or where.

The music stops, lights come up, the patrons gone, the barkeep washes her glasses…. just a moment to breathe.

If you haven’t stopped by Jazabelle Boutique, you should.  Jaz likes a lot of racy clothing bordering on the exhibitionist — but also understands that not everyone does, so includes HUDs to allow you to set the amount of sheer or opaque that you like best.  I like the leather here, but there’s a very enticing gauzy look if you dare!

Mahalo!  A hui hou kākou!

Silk Ruffles

I’m showing you a past group gift from Ghee today.  Their group is L$250 to join, but they have a number of quality group gifts available in-store once you do!

This lovely litte halter mini comes in sizes for Lara, Freya, and Hourglass.  Each size has three colors – Moss (shown), Navy, and Granite – each as a separate object.

It has a cute bow tie at the back which is a little hidden under my hair 🙂

Scandalize turns 3

Am I older than Scandalize?!  So it would seem, as they are celebrating their 3rd birthday with this fab little bikini!

Sizes are Lara, Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and classic fitmesh.  The bikiki is separates, and it comes with a massive HUD that allows you to tint the tops, bottoms, and frills individually.  There are 42 solid colors, and 22 patterns for each!

Search for L$0

Sometimes, it’s just worth looking on the marketplace for bargains.  And you can’t beat bargains that cost L$0!!  Both the harness and the boots can be found for zero dollars – nada, nothing, zip, zilch – on marketplace.

Both the boots and harness are for Maitreya Lara only.  The boots come with a HUD that lets you texture the uppers, heels, and outsoles separately, and the harness comes in a bunch of colors, each as a separate object.

I just did a harness photo shoot, and believe me, getting the angles just right to hide your bits is tricky, so I chose to wear some lingerie with this 🙂

Some nice applier undies from alaskameto did the trick, and I’m sure I picked these up as a freebie too (and as such, they may not be available in-store).  The lingerie set also comes with a corset and some add on bows, which I certainly don’t need with this!

Hidden secrets

I’ll wear this, belted, while we walk the cold streets, until we get home and I can untie it…

This coat fits oh so like a glove over this lingerie!  The only thing that would make it better was if I really could belt it until I didn’t need it any more 🙂

The coat is a group gift for teleporthub.com members.  Teleporthub is only L$10 to join, and you’re silly if you’re not in it!  Sizes for the coat include Lara, Curvy, Fine, Venus, Freya, Physique, and Hourglass.  It comes with a six color HUD with both plain and detailed leather patterns, like the one I’m wearing, for a total of twelve possibilities.

The lingerie, well, what can I say!  Hop yourself over to Kaleidoscope Island where the SL Hot Hunt is in progress!  This is a sim wide hunt, with a number of gifts for L$5 each, including this!  Talk about complimenting my hair, I couldn’t have asked for a better color!

This appears to be one-size-fits-all fitmesh, but it may be Lara specific, it fits so well.  For L$5, it can’t hurt to try it!

Last day of the Con!

Wow, I’ve had a great time at the Science Fiction Convention!  I’ve met and talked to some really interesting people, and had the pleasure of demonstrating the new BF Carbon Truss Telescope to some of them, while sharing my enthusiasm for astronomy too.

I’ve also managed to raise a little bit of money for Relay For Life with the generous purchase of the scope by a number of people.  As I write this, the Con has raised over L$1.1 million for RFL!  That’s a fantastic result, and we still have today to push it higher!

A big thank you to Merky (rickmerk), Beth Delaunay (isilmeriel), Starwolff (starwolff2000), and Benjamin Brougham for the sim builds, and all the other organizers, event managers, exhibitors, and helpers that made such a wonderful event possible.  This was my first time as an exhibitor at a major event, but it certainly won’t be my last!

I hope you’ve had time to visit, and if not, this is your last chance as the Convention closes today!  So, run and have a look before it’s all gone for another year!

I’ll leave you with this photo on the bridge of a starship.  Of course, Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom soup is standard fare between the stars 😉

TP to the Con!

Maddy

The usual inventory cleanup unearthed this fantastic little mini skirt.  I paired it with a top and some boots (of course, boot height makes up for lack of hem length!)

The skirt comes in sizes for Lara, Altamura, Freya, Isis, Venus, Curvy, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP.

It also has a HUD were you can select one of ten colors for the skirt, and from six for the bows.

Iroha

Here’s a lovely little gown that I picked up from Azul!   Iroha is a beautiful satiny gown in a very eastern-inspired floral print.  As is most of Azul‘s wares now, the gown is done in fitmesh with add-on flexies for that perfect dance motion.

Those of you who have followed me know that I love my foil flash tattoo from Alaska Metro <3.  The Iroha gown’s low-cut back perfectly frames the tattoo’s central medallion.  It should similarly showcase any large back tattoo!

The lovely locale is the beautiful Kyoto Kagai.  It’s definitely worth the visit!

Happy Aloha Friday, my friends!  I wish you all a wonderful weekend!

Gypsy enchantments

I got to wander around the latest round of Enchantment: The Iron Throne over the past weekend, and while the theme is Game of Thrones, I found the most wonderful separates that just cried out “boho/gypsy chic” to me.  A little mix-and-match and you’ve got a look that is perfect for role play… or for every day.  Well, every day for me, anyway!

I don’t know about you, but I find that working with separates can definitely be more challenging — I tend to forget what separates I have in my wardrobe, and finding pieces that go together can be very hit-or-miss.  But it’s very exciting when it does, and creates a look that is very unique to the individual.
