A touch of darke

I’ve been blogging about Petite Mort for a while now, but I don’t know how many of you know about Melora’s more recent venture, Oubliette!  Oubliette has a different flavour than Petite Mort, a bit of goth, a bit of darkness — or as one of my favourite book series says, “darkeness”.  That darkeness fires Lucretia, an exclusive art-deco inspired gown for the Midsummer Enchantment event!

Lucretia comes in fitmesh sizes for Maitreya, TMP, both SLink and all three Belleza bodies, and there’s a lovely palette of six colours for you to choose from.

I really love the beautiful way that Melora has worked the angular lines of the dress into the more flowery curves at the top and at the hem.   That’s always seemed the beautiful paradox of art deco to me, drawing from art nouveau, merging the linear and the curved.

Embroidered Essmie

Petite Mort has a lovely dress for this round of Tres Chic: the very simple clean Essmie.   Eight beautiful earthy shades set off the most amazing embroidery I’ve seen in Second Life.  My tūtū used to do embroidery like this, she always loved this style.  She tried to teach me a little… but I was never so good as she was.

Essmie comes in fitmesh for Lara, TMP, both SLink bodies and all three Belleza bodies.  So, as a side note, I end up writing that list of bodies down often enough now that I see that list, the numbers — 1 1 2 3 — and start thinking mathy sequence thoughts.  Is that nuts?  Probably, but wow I am so happy to see so much fitmesh!

A perfect day for the beach, grab your new ‘kini from Alaska Metro and a beautiful little cover-up, and let’s go!

The Veronica bikini comes in four “natural” colours: brown, tan, black and white.  The cover-up has a host of choices, three different HUDs are available, each with four lovely textures.  I really like HUD #3, the cover-up is just a little bit transparent.

Okay, maybe that’s a bit too clever — monstera deliciosa is the scientific name for the split-leaf philodendron, a beautiful tropical plant that can grow up to 10 metres across!  It features beautifully on this little dress from Seniha Originals!

I’m not usually a huge fan of strapless/sleeveless, but this is just too pretty.  It comes in two patterns, a retro style and the tropical style that I’m wearing, and in fitmesh sizes for Maitreya Lara, both SLink bodies, and all three Belleza bodies!

Let’s get medieval on cancer!

Spyralle is supporting Relay for Life with a lovely gown exclusive for the 2017 UAC Medieval Faire!  Elys is stunning with Kerryth’s lovely textures in gold, blue or purple.

Elys comes in five rigged mesh sizes and three different fitmesh versions as well.  The fitmesh are not mesh-body-specific, but appear to be different bust-sized fitmesh for the standard SL body.  That’s all right, I found that they worked just fine with my Maitreya Lara and SLink Physique bodies — just use the appropriate alpha zones.
