Tanned in the summer sun

I don’t usually model different skins, but thought I’d try a little something different for a Friday.  Alaska Metro offers Sunny,  few lovely new face and Fit, a matching skin at the Mesh Body Addicts Fair!  Both come in three skintones, and Sunny has options for no eyebrows, light, medium, and dark shades.  Fit is released as an update to Alaska Metro’s older skin line.  Fit includes Omega, Maitreya and SLink appliers, and nail polish for both natural and french finishes.

 

Sunny comes in appliers for Omega (head only), Lelutka, and Catwa.  The Omega version is optimised for the new LOGO and LAQ Bento heads, but it works just fine, I think, on my [GA.EG] Barbara Bento head!

The theme for Enchantment right now is “A thousand nights and a night”, the tales of Princess Scheherazade.  Silvan Moon Designs offers Princess Parizade Dhoti as an exclusive for the event, with side-slit harem pants, top, and coin belt and scarf in three independent pieces.

After moving from [GA.EG]‘s Kirsten non-bento head to the Barbara bento face, I lost two of my favourite eye makeup add-ons — the iLiner and the Nefertiti just didn’t work well on the bento face.  I’m so very happy to introduce [GA.EG]‘s newest eyeliner, Audacity.  Audacity is certainly an upgrade on iLiner, but with flavours of Nefertiti added on.  I’m so thrilled to have this look back!

Of course, facial expressions (eyebrows and mouth in particular) change the way that the different eye makeups are interpreted, so it’s kind of fun to see how they play together in each of the above looks.

Summer may be drawing to a close, but the water is warm and you will have to drag me from the beach.  Here’s a lovely little treasure from MOoH! that I picked up at this summer’s Aloha Fair.   Their Rainbow Bikini has been updated to include not only the standard five rigged mesh sizes, but fitmesh for pretty much any mesh body you might like.  It’s fun and flirty and suits this girl just fine!

I’ve been wanting to share this little outfit with you for ages now, and I’ve finally got the perfect excuse.  My lovely Blue gave me a gift certificate to Blueberry ages ago for my birthday and these were two little pieces that I fell in love with.  Britan is a beautiful little denim mini, and Koko is the fun half-cropped top!  Both items are sold single-colour, but come in rigged mesh and mesh-body-fitmesh sizes.  Britan has a little HUD that allows you to change the belt colour, rivet/metal texture, and panty colour — or just do away with the panties in the first place.  Koko comes in two variants for each colour — with and without the printed pattern.

I really am excited to share these foil freckles with you from Alaska Metro.  Alaska is rolling out a new free-join group — Alaskametro<3 loves, and the foil freckles are your gift for joining up.  They come both in Omega appliers and standard tattoo layers in six different lovely shades.  I’m in love!

One piece sparkles

I like one piece swimsuits more than I like bikinis, and as we had a beach party at Eden yesterday, and I’d worn nearly every swimsuit I own to one event there or another, I went shopping.  I was looking for something in white with laced sides as that look is really in at the moment.  But after a while looking (and trying three demos) I couldn’t find anything I was happy with.  So I broadened my search and found this suit!

It’s fitmesh specific to Maitreya Lara only, and comes in six different soft colors.  And oh my, does it glitter when you move!

Scarily, there was no demo or comments on the marketplace page so I bought it with my fingers crossed, but I’m here to tell you that the fit is pretty near perfect, with just one alpha section needed.

Aeon said “OMG you’re going to have some funny tan lines!”  Pffft 🙂

Here’s a closeup of the ties at the back so you can see just how much trouble the designer went to.  It’s an awesomely eye-catching outfit if you have Lara, and I’ll certainly be wearing it to a few more beaches soon!

Here’s a lovely little dress that I picked up from the Tres Chic event a few months back.   {les baies} is a fairly new creator, but has some very nicely textured products.  I’m looking forward to seeing what Summse Sands creates next!
