The limited edition Tigra Black – Rainbow includes skin (with appliers for Slink Physique and Omega as well as the standard SL skin layer), ears, and tail (and claws/nails, not worn). The Black & white tiger does not include appliers, but does feature digilegs and a very feline face!

Fun roleplay stuff today, this cheetah outfit comes from Catseye, a great place for all your furry fantasies 🙂 The outfit comes with Slink and Omega appliers, and a range of lip and shape options. Here I’m wearing it with the natural lips and my normal shape.
Aeon keeps promising to do a post about a rainbow tigress skin from Catseye she has. I hope she does it soon. Coming up real soon 🙂
Another Carrie’s piece today. This lovely little set of lingerie turns up regularly on the store’s Midnight Mania board. Join Carrie’s group to get on the board! This set is rather sheer, so we’ll give you the idea without completely compromising my modesty 🙂
Aeon showed us a great set of overalls from Rowena’s the other day. I’ve had this set in my inventory for a while so I thought I’d show you my take on the overall thing. I know Aeon will like it 🙂
Overalls: Dotty Blue Summer Dungrees by Sugar Button
Early on when I had just started getting into the wonderful distracting world of Second Life, it became apparent I needed some formal wear. Places like Frank’s even enforce dress standards 🙂 So, I was at a dance (not formal) and the DJ had a raffle going with the prize being a Carrie’s gift card. To cut a long story short, I ended up winning it! At the time, it was the most Linden dollars I’d ever seen hehe.
I excitedly ran off to Carrie’s thinking I’d splurge on lingerie, then agonizing for hours as to what I should buy! If you’ve been to Carrie’s you undoubtedly know the feeling 🙂 I finally settled on this lovely gown and have never regretted it. I get complemented every time I wear it!
Gown, shoes, and makeup: Holiday Sparkle Gown – Blue by Carrie’s Lingerie
One of my favourite swimsuits is this lovely little one piece called Manea from Topazia. The first time I went to the Topazia store and saw this, I had to have it! Topazia also makes it in a number of other colors and designs.
Materials science is a hot area in the real world, and Advanced Materials in SL isn’t far behind!
I have to show off this fabulous dress from Ally Adventures. Ally offers a range of clothing featuring this fabric, and each more provocative than the last!
Ruca Tease – Slink Leather Black /silver strap sandals
These items do require the Advanced Lighting Model to be activated, so it’s not for the faint-of-cpu, although I have little problem on a range of computers that I’ve tried. I’d definitely recommend checking the demos first – Ally offers free demos of all her items. Additionally, transparent clothing leaves no room for alphas, so some adjustment of shape may be called for.
All of the Ally Adventure glitter sequins garments come with a set of personal lights. These are similar to facelights, but are designed to produce sparkle in the dress. Night (low illumination) produces a very transparent effect! These are not for the excessively modest! My dear friend Whit might be concerned about a lack of decorum, but it does feel good to get this off my chest.
As a nod to some level of modesty, Sparta comes with a thong with multiple texture choices, but the breast is left transparent to view.
For contrast, a view of the same dress under daylight illumination. The fabric is a bit less shear – external illumination hides (to some extent) the skin beneath.
Ally Adventures features a broad range of clothing with these materials. I can only say that I think they are worth every linden. Watch this space for review of others – there’s a very sexy swimsuit that I have my eye on.
I’m a big fan of winter, and am truly looking forward to snow – but I will NEVER say no to the beach! And I’m very excited to share this find with you, given that a well-fitting bikini is as hard to find in SL as it is in RL. Standard layers and appliers (for mesh bodies) are one option, but nothing beats mesh for the textured look of the bikini sitting on your skin.
But a mesh that fits – particularly a mesh body (such as my Slink Physique) is hard to come by. While I can grudgingly adjust the bust, gaps at the hips, crotch, and butt are particularly hard to fit.
In that context, you’ll understand why I’m so excited about the South Beach bikini from !Rebel Hope.
In addition to the standard mesh sizes,!Rebel Hope also offers meshes designed to fit Physique, Belleza, Freya, Isis, and Maitreya bodies. Colours are sold separately, but metal trim is selectable from a HUD. Leather braid and tie detail at the hip is amazing.
!Rebel Hope offers other styles as well in the same sizings. Check out a demo today!
Invited to a fancy reception at the Musee du Louvre, and nothing to wear? Wetherby to the rescue with a stunning mesh gown in black and gold, their group gift for October. Classy and elegant, and right at home among the works of art!
