Another gown from the 8th annual Peace on Earth Hunt, this time from Baboom, the dress and shawl are in one piece and in the five standard mesh sizings. Each time I wear a medieval inspired dress like this I picture myself in a castle, so today I went and found one!
Okay, perhaps not so old… but decidedly merry. “Naughty or Nice” seems rather overdone at this point… and I really didn’t want to title a post featuring pictures of me “ho ho ho”!
**Glitter has a lovely advent calendar running this month, with gifts available even after each day has gone by! This offering is a lovely little Miss Santa outfit featuring the dress and corset-style belt.
Boots from Rowena’s Designs and some tights with a colour-change HUD from Baby Monkey (group giftie!) keep me warm against the snowy weather outside. The tights are offered both in standard layers and appliers for mesh bodies!

The corset is removable for a less racy look.
Glitter’s outfit includes a hat in multiple sizes, but I have such issues with hats in-world. I’ve replaced it with a hat-and-hair combination from *ARGRACE*. This was a giftie from last year, so it may not be currently available. The colour doesn’t match perfectly, but it’s pretty close, and the hair works so much better.
If you’re willing to futz with the hat/hair problem, the Glitter hat comes in five sizes, and has stars to match the coat. I’ts really quite lovely!
Contrary to popular belief, you don’t lose more heat through your head than any other bit of uncovered skin – we just tend to leave that part of our body uncovered, resulting in more heat loss. So whatever your choice, cover up and stay warm out there!

The 8th annual Peace on Earth hunt is certainly turning up some nice gowns! Today we have Silent by KL Couture. The gown is system with flexi skirts, and the system layers also come with appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, EVE, and Lolas. The star broach is unfortunately not modifiable nor does it have a resize script, so judicious placement is called for to get it to look just right. Other than that, a lovely older style gown that dances wonderfully well with its long train.

In the interests of completeness, I’m showing you this outfit 🙂 I think this is the only steampunk type outfit I have in over 700 outfits in my inventory, so as you can guess, steampunk is not really my thing.
The outfit from ShuShu has multiple options for the poncho, and two mesh dresses in standard sizing. However, do be warned, this is a walking around dress, as your arms are completely alpha-ed out and “replacement” arms and hands are part of the dress! Certainly not for dancing. The outfit also includes the mask, hair, and hat!
The boots are pretty awesome though 🙂

Oh my, I’m not sure I’m qualified to be an angel, however this outfit from ALB Dream Fashion certainly makes me look like one! Another fantastic gown found as part of the 8th annual Peace on Earth hunt, the outfit consists of a mesh gown in standard sizing. And wings! And earrings!! And a necklace!!! And a headpiece!!!! And a chest piece!!!!! And high heels for Slink, TMP, and Belleza!!!!!!

I recently stopped by Blue Moon Enterprises while travelling across SL on the Peace on Earth 8 hunt. I was pleasantly surprised to not only find their treasure for PoE (to be shown later), but a lovely gown offered as a gift for their group members.
The Lady Sophie is a medieval-inspired gown offered in five mesh sizes. The gift is in Holly – just my colour – but the gown itself is for sale in five shades, including night (black), ruby (red), royal (blue) and peace (a pale blue-white). While it’s perfect for a seasonal party, it’s beautiful year-round.
I’ve accompanied Lady Sophie with the POE8 hunt item from Beloved: the Nola choker and earrings. The Nola has a texture-change HUD with four different jewel textures – aquamarine, diamond, emerald and ruby. The circlet is part of a lovely set from BL that includes the circlet, arm and leg bands, and a belt.

Today’s gown from the 8th annual Peace on Earth hunt is from Shoenique. The gown is in mesh in standard sizing and comes with a mesh scarf and flexi drapes. The photo doesn’t really do this gown justice as it is materials enabled and all the straps and highlights are in golden glitter that reflects as you move. It’s really lovely!
There are some wonderful gifts this year for the Peace on Earth 8th annual hunt. This gown from Snowpaws is no exception. The dress is mesh in the standard sizings and includes a flexiprim skirt with resizer scripts, and includes a lily decorated bodice and lilies for your hair (not shown).

Some more hunt items from the Peace on Earth hunt for your enjoyment. Ana Markova Designs have been very generous with group gifts in their short history, and their items for POE 8 are no exception. This wonderful dress comes in two styles with this duo tone design and a solid red design. The fur shoulder piece is attached to the dress, somewhat limiting your options, however it’s still a lovely dress to be seen in!
Not stopping there Ana also has a second gift for POE 8, the matching shoes for Slink and TMP feet!
