With more generosity from GeMyles, today I’m showing you the January group gift from them for Second Life Frees & Offers group members. The dress is in the standard mesh sizings, and here I am wearing it easily on the Lara mesh body.

And something like this is just what I’m after in the middle of winter to pull me out of the chill and remind me of warmer weather!

Back to winter, here’s another wonderful little present from under the tree at Maitreya Gift, Sales & News group. This lovely pullover will certainly keep me warm all winter. It comes in six standard size fitmeshes from XXS to L and fitmesh for Maitreya and Belleza. Also included is a HUD with some texture and colour options.
This year, I tried to limit myself to advent boards that hand out presents for either the 12 days of Christmas or the 25 days leading up to it, as last year I ended up with so much stuff, I still haven’t opened some of it! I was careful to pick and choose from a few select stores, including Chop Zuey and a couple of other favourites. However, someone today reminded me that there were 25 gifts for the Maitreya Gifts, Sales & News group still available. Silly Blue went and got all 25!
So over the next few days, I will show you some of them, starting with this gorgeous lace number from Pin Up.

Another outfit found under the Maitreya Gifts, Sales & News group’s tree, this bodysuit comes with system layers and Maitreya and Omega appliers (and maybe a couple more that I deleted?) It seems as everyone is slowly adopting Omega anyway, so that’s the one I’m always looking for. Even the latest Slink releases support Omega. I think the only holdout is The Mesh Project. Stop blathering Blue and get on with the pics 🙂
What better for the New Year than an elegant offering from Dressed by Lexi. Lexi features some of the most amazing gowns that I’ve found in SL, and at fantastic prices. Today I’ve got Lexi’s January Group Gift to show you, the golden Midnight Kiss. The dress features a tantalising cutout from shoulder to hip, sliding into a slit up the left leg. It’s wonderfully sultry!
Midnight Kiss comes in the standard five mesh sizes. You’ve likely heard me comment before about trying to dance in mesh gowns: they don’t move right, and it’s often painful to watch. Mind you, I’m not sure what to do in such a gown, typically, other than pose for pictures! Lexi has solved this by including two prim pieces with this gown, one for each leg. This gives the gown a lovely flowy appearance and feel, and makes it perfect for dancing.
A necklace would have been too much, I think, given the tight strap at the shoulder. I’ve complemented this outfit with some fire-opal earrings trimmed in gold from Evelock. I’m typically a fan of blue-green opal, but the fire opal is just right for this gown.
Lexi offers several other shades for this gown, and for the month of January they’re all on reduced pricing. I’m going to go and take advantage of that, the Sapphire shade is brilliant, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it!

We’re not to Spring yet, our park is still deep in the throes of winter (and if you haven’t visited to try your hand at solving our ice maze, you should).
But spring is on its way! This mesh dress was an MM prize from Darling Rentals, and comes in standard fitmesh sizing, plus fitmeshes for Maitreya, Belleza, and Slink.
I mentioned these sandals in my previous post, but realized they weren’t very visible. They are by Like Design, and if you are not a group member, well, you should be! They do some wonderful essential shoes for Slink that go with nearly anything. They are usually available in store on Lucky Letter boards or Midnight Mania boards, and sometimes have been available as SLF&O group gifts. I recommend checking them out!
And lastly I’m wearing a necklace that I got as an old group gift from Pixel Box Designs. However, it’s still available in store for purchase at the nice low price of L$50. The black steampunk theme sets the dress off nicely 🙂

I’m wearing it with Lara, and while it has a few little alpha issues, I’m sure I could match my shape to avoid them. A lovely post holiday gift 🙂
Hello lovelies! Today I am showing off the wonderful gift Aeon got me for the season! She is so wonderful 🙂
In the summer while I’m at home, I tend to wear a cotton yukata a lot. They are very practical, being nice and cool and comfy. Of course, Aeon knows this and so thought it would be lovely if I had one in SL 🙂
This lovely one comes complete with a full obi, which is not house wear, but for going out in yukata. In Japan, especially around the summer festivals (especially obon), it’s normal to wear yukata.
Completing the outfit is this wonderful pair of geta for Slink Flat feet.
It’s a warm winter for many of us, but the cold temperatures sweep in with a shiver, an icy breeze cuts through the night air, revealing Snowflakes by Caverna Obscura.
The Snowflakes ensemble is a bit of an older one: it features the mesh top, wings and flexi skirt as shown, plus a system layer bra and thong and shoes sized for the SL foot.
You’ve seen my necklace before… no fae would turn down the opportunity for a sparkly necklace! An icy tattoo from [NN] Designs is just the right touch to complete the look.
