This slinky little cocktail dress is the January group gift from Ghee. Ghee is L$250 to join but again, with the quality of clothes they produce, well worth the price in my opinion.
The dress comes in rigged and fitmesh in the five standard sizings, plus fitmesh for Slink, Belleza, and Maitreya. Also included are some rigged mesh panties, which I wasn’t really happy with (they poke through at the back of the dress) and while I could change my shape to fix this, I’m wearing some applier lace for this shoot 🙂

I just don’t sleep well without a bedtime story. Tonight it’s Verschuur & Kellermann’s “Galactic and Extragalactic Radio Astronomy”, but just the one chapter on masers. I need to remind myself of a few things. The pjs are 100% mesh, and come in five standard sizes with an alpha, but work just fine for a masked mesh body. They’re perfect for a cold winter’s night!

One of the regular DJs at Eden loves 60’s music, so I got dressed up in this little outfit today to go along to her show. I originally acquired the top and pants at a cart sale at The Wash for L$10 for each piece, which was an absolute bargain! I’m unsure if the creator still stocks it or if it was done exclusively for the event. Hold that thought while I TP and look…
Well, the mesh pants that are in the five standard sizes are still available, but not in this pattern. And no sign of the crop top (also in rigged mesh in five sizes), so I can only assume they were done exclusively for the cart sale.
Today I’d like to show you a lovely fur coat by Karla Boutique FREE for members of the SLF&O group. The coat comes in rigged mesh in the standard five sizes.
Both Aeon and I have mentioned before that hats (or, in this case, a hood) are very challenging to get hair right for. I resorted to a special hair I have for hats, and even this is problematic when I move, poking through the hood. For this outfit, you may like to select one size up from what you would normally wear to see if that will help.
I’d also like to highlight the location here. This is Let It Snow! by Milly Sharple. It’s a fantastic winter wonderland full of pretty scenery, and the lighting is just mmmms. Run and have a look before it disappears for another year!

I know it’s just selective memory – or wishful thinking – that makes the roaring twenties seem like such a wild and carefree time, but who can resist the clarion call of the bandstand? The swish of fringe as flappers wound their way through smoke-filled rooms, dancing and flirting?

I had a whirl of a time visiting the Chicago Fiume, a little slice of the Chicago 1920s. Stop on by, you never know where you might find a speakeasy down a blind path. Knock twice, and tell them Aeon sent ya.
I stopped by Dressed by Lexi looking to pick up just the dress and applier, but found the accompanying jewelry set and couldn’t resist! The set contains the necklace, earrings, and two bracelets, and comes with a HUD that includes gems choices to match each of the dress colours.
My hair here is “Evelyn” by Alli & Ali. This beautiful little cut features a ribbon and sequins (on both front and back) that are hud-driven for a variety of colours for each. You can also set the ribbon and sequins for ‘invisible’. I love to wear it with a pair of goggles up over my forehead for a steampunk outfit as well!

A silk tunic and trousers may not be the warmest for the winter weather, but the colour scheme seemed perfect for a visit to the winter sim at Two Moon Paradise.
I changed my hair to the shorter ‘Taylor’ cut by Calico for this rear-view, so as to show off the lovely collar detail.
The tunic comes with three lovely texture choices for the detail, all along the same colour scheme. I can’t figure out which one is my favourite, but such fun to have the choices! I had to include three snaps here to show them off, I don’t think a pic of the HUD would do them justice!

We had a fun little leather competition the other day, and I finally splurged on a set of leather chaps I’ve had my eye on for ages. With a couple of sploder wins and other things recently I thought it was a good excuse to buy them. Then of course I had to find a motorcycle sim to photograph them 🙂
Ana Markove makes some lovely things. I’ve been a group member for ages. This is a very generous gift for her group’s members. The dress is fitmesh in the standard sizings plus fitmesh versions for Maitreya and Belleza. Wonderful!
The group is L$100 to join, but you’d be hard pressed to find a quality dress like this on the marketplace for less that a couple of hundred, so it’s well worth it in my opinion.
