A New Moon

A few days ago, I had the pleasure to share with you a lovely collaboration between Solas at Blue Moon Enterprises and Bee Dumpling at The White Armory, two of my favourite period and fantasy designers.

Solas and Bee have forged this new collaborative effort into Silvan Moon Designs, featuring mesh clothing made by Solas and textured by Bee.  The first release under the Silvan Moon label is Calista Rain, a beautiful mesh wedding gown featuring rigged and unrigged mesh belt versions, and flexi cape and empire skirt that flow beautifully.

Solas’ skill with mesh can hardly be overstated — those aren’t applier gloves, they’re fitted mesh!  And Bee’s exquisite texturing brings it to life!

As I was getting this blog post together, I received word that Bee and Solas are releasing Calista Rain in a variety of colours!  I’ll have to post a few more pics later.

Aloha, my friends — before it’s too late, I wanted to share this past week’s group gift from Bee at The White Armory.  Subarashi is a lovely little mesh yukata/kimono, complete with sandals fit for Slink flats.

I love the bow detail.  I had to add some hair sticks from Dressed by Lexi‘s Narcissus, as they really work well with this hairstyle.

A Charming Collaboration

A Maiden Fair

I have a new favourite outfit to share with you today!  Sorrell and Rose at Angel Fae have brought us Sweet Maiden in Meadow Clover.  This lovely mesh skirt, top and shawl combination is a group gift available now!  It is all mesh, and comes in five standard sizes plus Maitreya, Belleza, and Slink fitmesh versions!

A little story for you — when I originally picked up the group gift, the necklace had not been included in the vendor.  I hadn’t even realised until I received an unsolicited apologetic note and inventory offer from Sorrell rectifying the mistake.  I’ll admit, I was a little amazed at such customer service!  It’s those little things, you know, that really make a customer come back and spend their hard-earned money.

Tropical Blossoms

Kerryth at Spyralle has surprised us all with a lovely gift available for everyone.  She’s been updating older outfits with Omega appliers to replace the SL clothing layers, and has offered the Heliconia Kilau’ea as an open gift to all — no group membership needed for this one!

Heliconia comes with three lovely skirt designs, two versions of a three-tiered design (one of which is pictured above) and a simple single flat-hemmed skirt (shown in the images below).  The skirts are flexi, and swish very nicely as you walk or dance.

A Fleeting Enchantment

I have to share with you a lovely set of dresses from Solas and Blue Moon Enterprises.  Elina is currently available at Enchantment until the end of May, but will be in the Blue Moon mainstore after that.  Elina is all mesh, in standard sizes plus Maitreya and Slink fitmesh.  YAY!

Elina comes in four different coloured skirts: sky (blue), rose (lavender), reed (green),  and blush (white).  Each one features gold embroidery trim and a corset/belt with a four-texture colour-change hud (matching blue, lavender, green and gold).

A glutton for punishment?  Noooooo…. but I definitely have a strong desire for a new outfit from Carrie’s Lingerie.  Gluttony is a new re-release of one of Carrie’s seven-deadly-sins series with Omega appliers, and wow, sin never looked so good.

The makeup kit is very nicely done about the eyes, and the lip texture is beautiful!
