Winter is Coming

The onset of Winter is a wonderful time to me, and sometimes the magic swirls around like falling leaves and snowflakes.  Kerryth at Spyralle introduced a new pattern for her Silvia dress, and offered a beautiful leafy headpiece that matches perfectly.  This looked beautiful enough in my “usual” Quinn Perle skin from Oceane Body Design , but when I tried the Opal Ice skin from Fallen Gods, something really shiny began to take place.

This outfit was just a joy to put together, and there’s just so much here to share with you.  I found the beautiful dress and headpiece from Spyralle on a recent trip, then kept finding the perfect things to put together with the outfit.  The Nature’s Splendour jewelry from EarthStones was just perfect to carry the maple leaf theme, and the HUD let me select some blue and opalescent textures that carry the theme of the dress, the headdress, and the skin.  On top of that, while wandering around Enchantment, I came across the perfect face paint / facial tattoo from Nefekalum Tattoos — the beautiful blue maple leafs!  It is almost as if this was destined.

Add in the Silvan Boots from [QE]Designs, and the Arboreal wings from Vaengi, and presto… .the perfect little fae for the season.

If you’re like me, there’s a lot of chaos to take place before the December holidays.. and those December holidays themselves take on many different forms.  But I think that nearly all of them carry the same message — a time of peace, a time of joy, a time of family and friends.  I hope that even in the chaos that you may all carry that joy with you throughout the next month.

Iris in lace

This is a past group gift from Julia’s Scandal that’s been hiding in my messy inventory for a while 🙂

It comes in red too, and in sizes for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, eBody, and a one-size-fits-all for classic avatars.  Because the lace is transparent in places, you can’t use alphas, and unfortunately it suffers from clipping across the belly in extreme poses (and dances).  But as a stand-around-and-chat party dress?  It’s very nice!

It appears Julia’s in-world store is closed currently, but this dress is available on her marketplace store, linked to below.

Here’s yet another outfit from the Womenstuff Hunt.  There are some fabulous outfits out there for L$0 ot L$1!  Run out and find some!

This outfit includes the jumpsuit, the jacket, the shoes, the necklace, and earring (not shown).

The jacket and jumpsuit are in sizes for Lara, Freya, Venus, Isis, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, and standard sizes for classic avatars.  The heels fit Maitreya, Slink, and Belleza.  The necklace has a resize script, but unfortunately the earrings don’t, and they are huge, and they are no modify.  So, if you want to see them, you’ll have to hunt down this outfit yourself!

As I said, I have to love it when the Womenstuff Hunt is on, it makes my looking for outfits to show you soo much easier!

This sweater dress is just my color, and comes in sizes for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody Classic and Curvy, Tonic Curvy  and Fine, TMP, Hourglass, Physique, and standard sizes for classic avatars.  It’s only in this color, but mmm I like it!

Sometimes, you get really lucky.  This dress was announced yesterday as a One Hour One Linden offer at Scandalize.  You can imagine how quickly the sim and the surrounding sims filled up!  I think I was dead lucky to make it before the sim and the two surrounds had 120+ people in them!

With that many people, it was excruciatingly slow to get the item delivered.  But I finally got it, and here it is in all it’s sexy glory.

It comes in sizes for Lara, Hourglass, Isis, and Freya.  And being a fatpack, it has a HUD with 64! colors, mostly in solids, but 22 of them are in this nice glitter pattern!

This is another hunt item from the Womenstuff Hunt.  Although the motto is a bit risqué in some parts of the world, I love the dandelion motif.

This sweater dress is pretty short, so if you want to keep warm, add some tights 🙂  It comes in sizes for Lara, Venus, Isis, Freya, Hourglass, Physique, Curvy, Fine, and standard mesh sizes for classic avatars.

It has a HUD system with eight presets, but it also has a universal color picker so you can tint the dress, ties, and grommets any color your choose.

Aloha kākou!  Hello, my friends!  The Snow Queen awaits you at the latest round of Enchantment, open now until December 2.  I wanted to share the beautiful gown from Silvan Moon Designs, Crystallis.

I usually shy away from pinks and corals — they often clash with my ginger — but I saw Bee’s colours in the Amaryllis style for Crystallis and I just fell in love.  I feel like I’m dressed in the sunset.

I don’t get enough opportunity to wear the Springleaf necklace from Empyrean Forge — it’s a large piece, and definitely requires a strapless gown — or at least a broad expanse of chest — so that it’s not crowded.  It works perfectly with the Crystallis gown.
