You know that feeling before the summer thunderstorm hits? You can feel it in the air, the humid air under a darkening sky.. the little cool breeze that tells you that the storm is finally here. I know it’s a long way off from summer, but I am so looking forward to that feeling. That cool breeze, a break from the humid heat of the summer day.

Isolation protocols have kept me very busy with RL, so I haven’t gotten to share as much with you, but I had to share this with you before it’s gone. Melora Frost over at Petite Morte and Oubliette has a wonderful little Ostara spring hunt going on for a few more days, so if you haven’t stopped by you really should. There are some gorgeous little gifties to find, including this cute dark sundress.

I’ve got another item from the Stay at Home Club to show you today, this time from Furry Fashion.

These shorts are nothing if not eye-catching!  They come in sizes for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, TMP, Physique, Hourglass, Curvy, and Fine, plus standard mesh sizes for classic avatars.  Not only that, but there is another box in the unpacker HUD that includes male sizes as well.  Apologies if I get any of this wrong as I have no idea about guy’s sizes, but there are fits for Aesthetic, David, Adam, Gianni, Slink, TMP, Jake, some loose fit versions, plus standard mesh sizes again.

Shorts are always great finds for furs, as we don’t have to worry about poke through or correct rigging for our digitigrade legs 🙂

Maai stay at home

I told my friend Kat about the Stay At Home Club, and we went to look at an outfit that had just been announced by Maai for it.  We both got the outfit then thought, let’s photograph it together and we can show off a couple of the different patterns at the same time!  So here we are 🙂

The top and shorts are separates, and are sized for Lara only.  The included HUD lets you pick from six colors for the top, and five two tone plains for the shorts like I’m wearing, and three floral designs like Kat is wearing.  You have to be a member of the Maai group to pick up the gift, but it’s FREE to join!

As I mentioned yesterday, there are some really nice FREE outfits available via the Stay At Home Club.  I’m wearing another one today!

This time, the generous creator is VersA.  The outfit includes the top, skirt, and panties as separate items, all sized for Lara only.  Included in the pack is a HUD with twelve colors for the top and skirt, and six solid colors for the panties and ties.

Just as well we don’t have social distancing in SL, or we’d have no one to show off our new outfits to!  🙂

Recently, Blueberry did a huge store renovation.  When they reopened, they celebrated by handing out a L$350 gift card to all their members.  This is sneaky marketing tactics, as a lot of their stuff costs L$250 per piece, so to get two matching pieces, you have to add a few Lindens of your own 🙂

Well, you can’t take it with you, as the saying goes, so here’s what my gift card and a few Lindens got me!
