Look of the day
I mentioned yesterday that Monthly Midnight Madness, an ongoing monthly event, happened last weekend. I managed to pick up this super micro bikini on one of the midnight boards!
The top and bottoms are separates, and are sized for Lara, Freya, and Legacy.
Last weekend, Monthly Midnight Madness was on. This is a once a month event, offering some fantastic gifts to members of the FREE group. There are two “events”, one at midnight SLT, and one the following midday, and each creator offers two pieces, one available at each time. But there’s more! These are limited editions, so you have to be one of the first 1500 people to hit the boards after midnight and midday to get them (although there are last chance boards where you can pick up the piece if the limited are exhausted, for L$50 each).
This fabulous bodysuit was one of the midnight items, and the detailing and use of materials is just out of this world. It’s called “Oil Lace” and the materials make it shimmer like rainbow oil on water. The Forge is a place I generally stay away from, because I tend to walk in there and want to buy the entire store, all their pieces are so well done 🙂 But I’ll certainly grab one for free via MMM!
I don’t usually sport tattoos, except at events, but occasionally one catches my eye. This is a FREE group gift from a new creator called Nick’n Br!nk. Their group is FREE to join.
The tattoo comes in three darkness levels, and there are appliers for Lara, Belleza, Legacy, and Omega. Also included are system tattoo layers if you wish to wear this with Bakes on Mesh (or just on a classic avatar).

My heart is a little heavy with the closing of The 2020 Fantasy Faire this weekend. The Faire… is many things to many people, but to me it is a coming-together of friends, of not-yet friends, of spirits in a common goal to create, to share, to try to make the world a better, brighter place.
I had one last set of products from the Faire to share with you. This is Ninja from Sakka’s Studio. Sakka has an amazing number of beautiful Japanese-inspired outfits, and her Ninja is perhaps the most amazing I’ve seen in-world. It contains the suit, hood and mask (you can drop the mask by HUD control), gauntlets and shoes. The katana was my own addition! The outfit has a seven-colour hud that allows you to get exactly your own look.
If you haven’t gotten the chance to see the wonderful little vignettes/diaramas at the Fairlands Junction, you really really need to try to stop by and see them. I had to share the amazing work “A Chinese Proverb” by Fiona Fei. I just.. I can’t even begin to do it justice. I hope that she does not mind me slipping into it to be a part of the view… but I left my katana out of this one: I could not bear to bring violence into such a serene scene.

The Faire closes on Sunday, swallowed by the Mists for another year. Take heart, though, my friends… for Faire 2021 will open in under a year’s time… and I am quite sure that the builders and creators will begin long before then in preparation. In the meantime, come and share and enjoy and shop and give for one more day… and live in hope and peace for all the days that follow.
We keep the Faire in our hearts all the year long.

This fantastic little mini is sized for Lara only. It comes with a HUD to show or hide both the straps and gems, and I think it looks absolutely wonderful strapless.
The other dress in the package is similar in style, but in red, and (you guessed it) I didn’t want to dye my hair 🙂

This dress is another FREE gift from Amisar, after joining their FREE group. I picked it up a few weeks ago now, but it’s still available at the time of writing.
It’s sized for Lara, Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and comes with a HUD with twenty plain colors for the top, and the same twenty plains for both the skirt panels, plus ombré versions too!

The suit is only available for Lara, and is FREE for all comers, you don’t even need a group. Just pay the vendor L$0 at Grixdale’s store at the Uber event!
The free version is only in white, but as it’s modify, you could surely tint it to nearly whatever color you want.
I took mine for a midnight swim on a secluded beach, but I’m not telling you where 🙂

I rarely look there because, to be honest, it’s easy to find even higher quality freebies elsewhere. But, you know me and bodysuits, I couldn’t pass this one up 🙂

And yes, it comes with boots too! They’re in four sizes: Lara, Belleza, Slink, and Legacy, and we’ll casually ignore that the left boot’s pattern is reversed 😉
