We’re just over half-way through June, and the June edition of We Love Role Play is going strong! Bee and Solas at Silvan Moon Designs bring you Esmeralda. It has a wonderful care-free feel to it. While it’s a longer mesh, it’s flared up about calf-length, so it doesn’t pose the kind of problems that you often see in movement for a longer mesh dress. Esmeralda comes in six lovely colours, and is sized for Maitreya only.

The outfit features separate skirt and top, so you can mix-and-match. The beautiful boots are included, and totally complement the dress. I’m already thinking about other outfits that I can pair these with. I’ve added the beautiful bangles from @rOrO and a necklace and earrings from EarthStones. It must have been fate, for the Esmeralda hair and scarf from Fantavatar & Moonstruck [Oblivion] just matches perfectly, completing the look.

I… feel I’ve got to say one more bit here, though, because I love the jewelry from Earthstones and rOrO, but… we really should stop using the term ‘gypsy’. Yes, I know, there’s a lot of debate about this — many ethnic Roma say “please don’t use the word, it’s hurtful”, and others say that they don’t care. There’s a nice discussion of the term and its history and usage here. I think the long and the short of it to me is, why say it if it makes people feel bad? Political correctness isn’t a bad thing, it’s simply a different phrase that means “polite”.

So, you know, be kind. Let the word go.

When I’m stuck for something to photograph, I’m sure to go and look at the group gifts at Scandalize.  There are so many of them that I’m sure I’ll find something I haven’t got or haven’t photographed for you 🙂

Scandalize is L$100 to join, but this may be the best L$100 you ever spend in SL!

This pants and top set come with separate pants, and four top options.  The top comes in two lengths, short (shown) and long, and both variations have a no-sleeve (shown) and a sleeve version.

All pieces are sized for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Physique, and Hourglass.  There is no less that five (!) coloring HUDs included, each one for specific parts of the outfit.  You can color the bottoms, ties, waist, neckline, and the main colors for the top and pants to your liking from a set of… wait, if you think I’m going to attach five HUDs and count the buttons…  Let’s just say it’s a lot of colors!

The bra and panties are one piece, and fit Lara, Freya, Alice, Legacy Classic, and Hourglass.  The set comes with a ten color HUD so you can select just the color you like!

This top and pantie set is sized for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, and Physique.  The top and panties are separates, and come with a six color HUD that allows you to select from the colors for the top and panties individually.

I showed you a group gift from Elegance Boutique yesterday (what little there was of it lol) but I forgot to tell you that there are a number of past group gifts available after you join their FREE group.  This one is a little more modest.

This is a two piece, with the top and high skirt as separate items.  Both are sized for Lara, Hourglass, and Physique.  There are a number of different color combinations in the pack, all available on different objects.  The skirt requires some alpha.  Again, a very nice gift from Elegance.

Oh my!  This body harness and panties set is a group gift from Elegance Boutique.  Their group is FREE to join.

The outfit is all one piece and is sized for Lara, Freya, Venus, Isis, Hourglass, and Physique.  It has a nine color HUD for both the harness and panties, with a hide panties option, which makes up for it not being separates.  There are also five colors of metals to choose from.

Sweet E for Stay at Home, part 2

I showed you a Stay At Home gift from Sweet E’s the other day, but there are actually two gifts for the Stay At Home Club available at the store.  This is the other one 🙂

The skirt, bra, and lifted sweater are separates, and are only sized for Lara.  The skirt isn’t a mini, it’s a micro mini lol.  You’ll need undies 🙂

It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to share new things with you, much to my chagrin. RL has kept me rather frantically busy, but I finally nabbed a few minutes to share a beautiful gown and headdress from Spyralle. The headdress is the Eagle of the Prairie, and it just sets off the wonderful Sybil Plains gown.

What’s even better… is that I get to share a most wonderful sim with you. Does it remind you of the beautiful Queensgarden? One of my greatest joys after Fantasy Faire 2020 was when Gidgy, creater of Queensgarden, created a new sim with all the feeling of that wonderful place: Savor Serenity. Please, stop by, and take part in the serenity that she has created there, and shares with you.

I confess that I managed to lose my pose information. I always write down my poses and locations, but managed to lose the poses between taking the shots and today. 🙁 I sincerely apologise to all of the wonderful posemakers that I use, and I will endeavour to keep that from happening again!

In the mean time… I wish you all the greatest peace… and serenity. In these days, there seems to be too little of it to go around. Peace and love, Aloha to you all.

Today I have the latest group gift from Scandalize to show you.  Scandalize is L$100 to join, and offers a whole wall-full of prior group gifts, with new ones added regularly.

The shirt, top, and shorts are separates and come sized for Lara, Freya, Isis, Legacy, and Hourglass.

The gift is a fatpack, so comes with a HUD with twenty plain colors, and eleven patterns you can apply to each individual piece.  If you’re not a member of Scandalize, you’ll probably forget that it cost you L$100 to join in the time it takes you to wear this outfit 🙂

Oh, please note that while I tried the outfit with my usual Slink hands, these photos are taken with Maitreya hands, as I was unsure of the rigging of the long sleeves for the top.  The Slinks seemed to work, but I wasn’t going to mess around and have to change and reshoot!
