There’s been some talk recently about creators getting jittery with some things LL have been discussing.  Including discussing in what (to some) appeared to be a meeting with creators that was a) not held in-world and b) appeared to be with the lab and elitist creators to the exclusion of others.

(I can confirm that (b) is not true, it just appeared that way).

Some people have reported that this has led to a downturn in creators actually creating anything recently.  I’m not sure how true this is, but I have certainly noticed a downturn in what I call “blog fodder” in the last twelve months.  This is hardly an excuse for the lack of posts here, just the fact that there really hasn’t been much of quality to report on.

Fortunately, the other day this changed with MAAI releasing a very nice group gift.

This strappy mini-dress and body suit are separates, and both are sized for Lara, Lara Petite, Kupra, Legacy, and Legacy Perky.  The box includes a HUD to set to the buckles and zipper to gold or silver too.

There are patches of breakthrough on the body suit, particularly around the elbows and armpits in extreme poses, but you’ll probably not notice anything just walking around.

And of course, each piece can be worn separately.

Salt & Pepper are celebrating ten years in SL with a marvelous group gift gown!  The group is a little expensive to join at L$300, but they occasionally have free join weekends, and past group gifts are available.

The gown is in sizes for Lara X, Lara X Petite, GenX Classic, GenX Dainty, Reborn, and Waifu, and includes an alpha.

The gown is PBR textured with no fallback textures, so you’ll need a PBR capable viewer to see it correctly.

The gown also includes an eighteen color HUD that allows you to select colors for the main gown and the lace separately, so you’re sure to find something to suit you!

The Valentine’s Day Shop & Hop is on at the moment and runs until February 18th.  There are an enormous amount of shops spread over fourteen regions, and as the event is approaching the end, it’s not too crowded!

Most stores have FREE gifts, and I chose this “in theme” lingerie to show you.  It’s on BoM underwear layers, so it’s suitable for any body.

Hello sweets!  After all the tech in my last post, I thought I better find a dress for you!  This one is a FREE gift in-world at Tiffany Designs.  You don’t even need to join a group to get it.

There are sizes for Lara, Lara Petite, Lara X, Lara X Petite, GenX, GenX Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Peach, Bombshell, Waifu, and Reborn.  It comes with a fifteen color/texture HUD, and as you can see, the creator is making great use of materials.

I’m wearing Lara X here, but after I took the photo below, I noticed a few sections of breakthrough, which I’ve brushed out.  I tried the Lara version on, and the rigging is much better.  You can’t complain for a FREE dress!

Good freebies seem to be getting harder to find.  Or I’m out of practice, or I’ve reached the point where the number of good freebies in my inventory ≅ the number in world lol.

This dress comes in sizes for Lara, Lara Petite, Lara X, Lara X Petite, Belleza, Belleza Curvy, Belleza Dainty, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Peach, Kupra, Erika, and Reborn.  It comes with a HUD with dozens of colors to pick from (so many, I’m not counting them).  You can also select a few various materials and shine levels for the fabric, and metal colors for the rings.

There is also a matching pair of heels in the pack, however, I refuse to wear platforms over half an inch, so I’m not showing them 🙂

The Saturday Sale Party Extravaganza is open at the moment, and there are a ton of FREE gifts to be had.  Most of the gifts don’t need a group, just pay L$0 and it’s yours.  The event runs until the 21st of October, which is just as well, as there are over 250 gifts to find and unpack.  Whew!

This dress is certainly eye-catching!

This is a group gift for members of the teleporthub.com group.  The group is a tiny L$10 to join, and gets you access to group gifts from creators all over the grid.

The dress comes in sizes for Lara, Lara Petite, Lara X, Lara X Petite, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu.  There is also a HUD included with sixteen different plains and patterns.  There is a tiny bit of clipping going on at the front and back thigh hemline, but nothing dramatic enough to stop you wearing and enjoying this dress!

The Sense Event is open at the moment, so I went for a browse (I really went for the group gift that they have at each event, but it was far too pink for my hair lol).  I came across these tank tops with some stunning art on them and had to get them!

These are L$150 from The Bold Llama, exclusive to the event.  There are sizes for Lara, Lara Petite, Lara X, Lara X Petite, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Reborn, Waifu, eBody, Venus, Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Physique, GenX, TMP, and the five standard sizes.  The designs are switchable via an included HUD.

This lingerie set is a group gift for the members of the Glitzz group.  The group is not cheap to join at L$300, but sometimes they have run free join weekends, so keep your eyes open!  Once you’re in the group, there are over thirty gifts available, including this floral corset and panties set.  There are also a few FREE gifts available for the MGSN group.

The corset and panties are separates.  The panties are sized for Lara, Legacy, Hourglass, Freya, Kupra, and Reborn.  The corset includes those sizes plus Lara Petite, Legacy Perky, Nerido PushUp, Juicy, Domina Smash, and Waifus.

I’m not sure about a double sided laced corset though.  You’d either need two people to help you tie it, or have an extra set of arms 🙂
