Balloons, bridges, and blue

A slate blue dress that is!  There are so many events on at the moment, I’m overwhelmed.  I had to ask Sorcha Jinx – the creator of the dress  – to remind me which event she was featuring at so I could tell you!  D’oh!

The dress is rigged mesh in standard sizing and the calf high boots are included!  The dress has a lovely little ruffle detail at the bodice. And neither Sorcha and I could figure out which event it was at!  She thought it was the Secret 60 event, but I’m not so sure?  As she said “Oh goodness!  It’s been a busy month!”

Stroll

There are a lot of events going on at the moment, including Shiny Shabby (if you can get in!)  I scored these jeans there yesterday, and wanted to show them to you.  I’ve matched them with a wonderful little ribbed tank top that I got from a Midnight Mania board (but the item is available in-store).  Hope you like the look 🙂

Simply Wow

I liked my lighting so much from yesterday that I thought I’d photograph this babydoll with it too!  This is from Bonita Wear available on market place.  It comes on system layers but also has appliers for Slink, Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and TMP.

A Maiden’s Gown

Ohhh, I’m a horrible tease, and I apologise in advance – but more on that at the end of this.

You may have noticed, I’m a bit of a sucker for medieval or faerie-inspired clothing.  I accumulate far more than I can ever wear, but that doesn’t stop me!   Last week’s  group gift from The White Armory is a wonderful addition to my wardrobe.  The Maiden of E’na Dorei gown is fitmesh, with add-on flexi sleeves.

The fitmesh is designed for the standard SL avatar, and not the Physique or Lara.  Nevertheless, it fit my Physique body quite well, with just a little use of the alpha zones.

I love the details, they really make any outfit of this nature!  Now, why am I a tease?  Because I just found out that The White Armory changes their group gifts frequently, so this lovely item is no longer offered.  What’s the moral, then?  Make them one of your regular stops!  You’ll hate to miss out on their next one!   So please stop by and take a look.

Mahalo and aloha, my friends!

Lustful nights

Here’s another quick post from the After Hours Hunt, ending on the 29th of February.  The hunt is FREE.

This lace bodysuit is just delicious, and comes on system layers and has appliers for Maitreya, Slink, Brazilia Doll, and Omega.  Unfortunately, it’s spoiled a little by a poor seam join-up over the shoulders (which I’ve been careful not to photograph).  I can’t complain as it’s a FREE hunt item.  If the designer fixed this, I’d be happy to pay for this level of detail 🙂

The detail level of the texture is absolutely wonderful close up!

Ahh

This wonderfully detailed little dress is from the After Hours Hunt, going on until the 29th of February.  It’s in fitmesh in standard sizes, and has body specific fitmesh sizes for Slink, Belleza, and Maitreya.  This is a FREE hunt!

Peacock

Way back in October last year I said that the only thing stopping me from getting the Lara Mesh Body from Maitreya was my disappointment at the fit of my favourite mesh bikini on the body.  However, if you’ve been following along, I didn’t really let that stop me, and I got Lara in mid-December.

It’s taken me this long to find a new favourite bikini (just as well it was winter!)

Peacock Festival by Mon Cheri is in standard sizing with fitmesh for Belleza, Slink, and most importantly, Maitreya 🙂

Armed and dangerous

The neko subculture in SL can be interesting.  And an even smaller subculture of that are nekos wearing guns 🙂  I got this outfit from a lucky letter board ohh at least 12 months ago while exploring a Japanese themed sim.  The outfit is old-school and with no appliers can’t be worn on a mesh body.  However, it works quite well on the default avatar!

Believe it or not, the outfit comes with four (yes four!) guns, two on the top of the boots and two in armbands.  I chose to leave one arm band off and replace it with a Beretta M9, which looks a little more impressive.  Note the guns that come with the outfit are merely decorative (but believe me, the M9 is fully functional!)

Now, I think I’ll go and terrorize some yakuza 🙂
