This great hoodie and top combo from Tori’s in just in time for a cooler turn in the weather! What a great addition to the wardrobe, it comes with an eighteen color HUD for the top, with bright on and off options.
Standard sizes are included, and fitmesh sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Physique, Hourglass, TMP, and Maitreya are all in the package. I love it!

Fall (or Autumn depending on what you call it) is officially here, and Halloween will be on us in no time! Here’s the first Fall outfit for the year, and the one I wore to Eden‘s Fall Queen contest at the weekend.
The full outfit is from StormCrow Designs and is in standard mesh sizes, and comes with the leggings on system layers, but also includes appliers for Slink, Maitreya, Wowmeh, and Omega, so all your bases are covered. Also included are a wonderfully detailed set of unrigged boots with resizers, which are great to mix and match with other outfits too!
Aloha kakou! The Fall Equinox has come and gone, and in the northern hemisphere, days are speeding shorter, there’s a cool breeze in the air. October is coming, and Carrie’s Lingerie is ready for it! Carrie has put together six lovely complete costumes for the VIP group — with clothing, accessories and skins — guaranteed to make an impact on whatever fancy dress party you might choose to attend!
I get to show you one of these, but if you follow Carrie’s on flickr, you can find pictures of others. This is the lovely Irridessa!
Irridessa includes omega appliers for skin, makeup, bra and panty, mesh wings, anklets and pointy elf-ears, and flexi-prim silks. It’s nearly all-in-one!
Normally I’d avoid green hair, but the light mint really complements the skin and ‘kini colours. A good lavender or golden blonde works as well. Blue liked the blonde, but I feel much more at home in lavender skin than I do in blonde hair. 🙂
These costumes truly are a treat. Stop by Carrie’s Lingerie, become a VIP member, and enjoy. They’re incredible, and you’ll be ready for fancy dress… or maybe a little bit of everyday.
For your Friday pleasure (or Saturday morning to my lovely friends on the other side of the dateline), a little group gift from Petite Mort. Festival is a beautiful maxi-skirt and bandeau top in five mesh sizes.
Petite Mort — Festival maxi skirt & suede fringe bandeau top (2016 Group Gift)
Now, Petite Mort currently has nine past group gifts back up on the wall, Festival included. I don’t know how long they’ll be up, but stop by and take a look, and peruse the rest of the bohemian fashion offered in the store! In the meantime, I’ll show you another one or two of those gifts in the next week or so.
I’m going to be short on time for a couple of days, so pardon the lack of commentary on these quick posts. Another Womenstuff hunt item, this lovely textured dress has sizes in standard size fitmesh and classic, plus fitmesh sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink.
You may choose to shed the gown for the corset.. for a more.. intimate… setting.
There’s so much here to talk about: matching pumps, jewelry, and a beautiful makeup kit. The standard layer makeup is a full-set tattoo, but the omega appliers are independently selectable for eye and lippy. I wish that the decoration to the outside of the eye was also independently selectable, but it’s a great effect overall.
As a friend of mine said, the collar/choker alone is worth the price of admission!
The third configuration is a ‘decoration-only’ mode – no gown, no corset, just decorations… and panties or no, as you choose. It’s a lovely with the silks!
If you’re not a member of Carrie’s VIP group, it’s a pretty nice deal. It’s a little spendy to join — about the price of one of Carrie’s lovely outfits — but there are lovely gifts, and first crack at new products.
I’m still going though hunt items from Womenstuff (do you believe it?!?) This outfit is in fitmesh in standard sizes with specific sizes for Maitreya, Slink, and Belleza. The skirt and top are one piece which is a pity as I really love the top textures and I’d love to match this with a few other more redhead friendly colors. It does have a HUD for the skirt to allow you to pick from the red I’m wearing here, and nice gold color.
The hunt items from the Womenstuff hunt that finished at the end of last month continue to impress as I slowly work my way through them. Here’s a lovely coverup in standard size fitmesh, and sizes for Belleza, Slink, and Maitreya.
After a couple of studio photo sessions, I needed to get out there. These photos are taken at El Diablo at Scorpion Bay, probably the most scary surf beach in SL. If you think you’re a good surfer, you need to give this place a go 🙂
Of course, I needed something to cover up 🙂 I’m not much of an applier swimwear fan, much preferring fitmesh bikinis, but this one piece from Ch’s Designs works well!
I asked our wonderful friend and neighbour Katkind to help me with some pose adjusts in Snug Harbour’s pool (after another friend Rose wanted me to create couples pose objects instead of just putting poses in the pool). So I roughly adjusted them, and as Aeon is away for the day, I thought we could get it out of the way and have a gab at the same time 🙂
So after fixing the poses and jumping out of the pool and getting changed, I commented on how much I liked Kat’s outfit, then thought “Ohhh I’ll ask her to model for some photos for the blog!” She loved the idea and here we are! Yay!
Doesn’t she look gorgeous? Let’s hope I have all the details for her outfit right 🙂
Recently at Eden, we have been doing a belly dance event once a month. I’m not a major fan of the music, but the event is fun. This was my latest outfit 🙂
I got this from the marketplace and the comment on the item was in part “I was hesitant to buy it at first. I was afraid it would be rigged for popular mesh bodies and wouldn’t fit my custom body. But it’s not rigged and I was able to adjust it perfectly.” Of course what this doesn’t mention is that you really better be good at editing to “adjust it perfectly” 🙂
The belt was no issue, I just stretched it smaller to fit. But the under bra part? OMG! I shrank it as much as it would go, then had to edit linked and shrink the main part, and then move all the little prim and mesh attachments to match. Every one of those attachment points has a mesh object and three flexiprims on them! Eleven attachment points = 44 prims eeeks!
Fortunately the necklace, ankle, upper arm, and wrist bracelets were all fine (whew).
The outfit also comes with system panties and the breast decorations. It also comes with some mesh nipple covers too, but with a mesh body and the appliers (Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and TMP included) you don’t really need them.
Once I’d edited it, it really is a spectacular outfit!
I’ll just mention my skin here too. Lumae, who made the Adore Peach Bare skin I wear all the time, is very generous with group gifts. The skin I’m wearing with this outfit was a FabFree group gift, and unlike a number of other skin makers who just include the system skin and call it good, Lumae’s owner Lumiya Rae is wonderful and includes appliers for all major bodies, heads, and Slink hands and feet in her gifts. What an amazingly generous person! I highly recommend Lumae (I should, I wear one of their products every day!). You should run over and look at some of the fabulous skins there!
