Aloha, na hoaloha!  I’ve been wanting to share with you some of the treasures from Spyralle‘s advent calendar.  They’re utterly amazing beauty, and Kerryth has made them even better — and is giving them to you for the Holiday season!

So, You’re probably familiar with Spyralle‘s beautiful art and some very pretty mesh.  Kerryth created a lot of beautiful SL layered items featuring flexi skirts.  Well, she’s updated the SL layers, creating Omega appliers for them.  Now she’s been updating the flexi skirts as well!  And they’re your gift for being a Spyralle member!

What’s that?  Not a member of Spyralle?  There’s a group join fee whenever there are gifts available, but wow is this worth it.  Yes, I know we’re half way through december, but we still have over a week to go before the calendar runs out, and she’s had a new/revamped outfit up EVERY DAY.   You can do the math!  You truly cannot afford to miss out on this!  I’ll be showing you a few more outfits before we’re done!

If you’ve ever wanted to be an angel and perch on a Christmas Tree, Facepalm has you covered at the POE 9 Hunt!

The outfit includes system layers and appliers for Maitreya, Slink, and Omega, the mesh wings and halo, and the lovely little white mules (which are definitely seeing duty outside this outfit!)

I’m not a TV fan.  I don’t even currently own a TV.  So I had to google what shadow hunters were.  Here’s Clary Frey’s outfit done by Marquesse for the POE 9 hunt 🙂

The outfit is all one piece in standard sizes only, but the good news is it has a HUD that allows you to change the color of the jacket, pants, and shirt all independently. Eight colors for the jacket and pants, and ten for the shirt.

Also included are shoes for Slink Mids, and the same shoes in unrigged mesh.

Have you been to 2nd Level yet?   No?  WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? There are SOOO many pretties!  Take a look at Dora from GLITTER, a lovely top-and-leggings combo.   Mind you, I love dresses and skirts, but some places are just too chilly for that in the winter — so bring on the leggings and tights!

After my last post and not getting too formal, let’s really get dolled up now 🙂

We used to have a Classical Music night every week at Eden, which gave us an excuse to find a nice gown at least once a week.  Unfortunately, our DJ had to stop due to RL commitments.  But I still love finding lovely gowns such as this one, as Aeon and I sometimes get dressed up and go and dance at Franks 🙂

This wonderful creation is from Sascha’s Designs, on of the best gown makers in SL, and is a very generous hunt gift for POE 9.

This gown is system fitmesh and the skirts and train are flexi.  Surprisingly, this is rather low complexity for something with so much flexi-prims, and my entire outfit is only about 136,000.

The perfect wrapping for a holiday gift — Catty Sparkle  from Carrie’s Lingerie!

Catty Sparkle includes Omega applier (and standard layer) gloves, stockings, garter and corset.  Heels are sold separately, but include a colour-change HUD.

Okay, I’m not conceited… but smart enough to think that my legs are my main redeeming feature.  So… little surprise that I like backseam stockings and a nice pair of heels.

With this much exposed chest, I could probably get away with an awful extravagant necklace… but thought that a simple emerald tennis necklace (with matching earrings and bracelet) from Zuri Jewelry would make just the right statement.

Here’s a lovely fitmesh only dress from Masoom for POE 9.  I didn’t want to make this too formal because of the heart decoration, and I was putting the outfit together and wanted my hair up, and ran through some styles before settling on one.  Then I said to myself, if you’re wearing this hair style, you have to find some earrings.  And a necklace.   And all of a sudden it was looking far too formal.  Aeon said “Swap out your shoes for Dockers” hehe.

I started again.

The dress is fitmesh for Maitreya, Slink Physique and Hourglass, Belleza Freya and Isis, and TMP only.  There is no standard rigged mesh.

Knits

Another POE hunt item (yes, we are going to do a few of them hehe) today we have a one piece outfit from OMG! in standard rigged mesh.

As it’s not fitmesh, there are a few little breakthrough issues when moving, but it’s not too noticeable.  And it’s certainly a great little early winter outfit for inside!

It comes with seven color combinations in a texture HUD.  I like the plain grey over black, but there is a dark grey top over light grey diagonal plaid for the skirt that is very nice too (plus five more!)

For the Winter Solstice Event, Sylvan Moon Designs brings you Victoria Faun, a beautiful gown in three parts (skirt, jacket and bodice) and a cute little pillbox hat.  It seems the perfect gown for a Midwinter Ball!

The detail on this gown – from the mesh to the textures – is amazing.  I love the little filligree at the bodice, arms, and back.  That shouldn’t be surprising, Solas and Bee do incredible work!

Victoria Faun is available in four different colours: Ice, shown above, royal blue, maroon, and hunter green.   The hunter green is my other favourite, and here I thought I’d try a slightly different look – a little more wild, a little more steampunk.  It’s amazing how just a few details will change the tone of an outfit!

So, just a little grumble — make sure you grab the landmark to the Winter Solstice Event here, because it’s not easy to find otherwise.  I’m not sure that Pale Girl Productions (running the show) is trying hide the LM, but they’re not making it easy.  I can’t figure out why — if I were Solas or Bee I’d be a little honked off that PGP is making it harder for people to come to the event!

That said, there are some beautiful things there to find!  Stop by and take a look, and then head over to Silvan Moon Designs —  Solas and Bee create some amazing things for your shopping — and wearing — pleasure!

POE Spirit

As you may know, the Peace on Earth Hunt started on the first of December!  It runs though the 1st of January, and you might need all those days as there are nearly 130 stores to visit!  Here’s a nice hunt item to start us off 🙂

This lovely little dress comes in standard sizes, plus fitmesh for classic avatars, and specific fitmesh for Maitreya, Belleza, and Slink.  Also included are the shoes for Slink, Belleza, and Maitreya highs. plus a set of matching wings that I’ve chosen not to show.
