One of my recommended stores for women beginning their Second Life is Snowpaws. Their group is L$150 to join, but without even doing that, there is a wall, yes, an entire wall, covered with pretty good quality outfits, all for L$0 (there are really 50 outfits, but who’s counting?) Most of these outfits are system, but they are far superior to anything you’ll find in a freebie mall.
In addition to the freebie wall, there are six Midnight Mania boards, eight Mini Mania boards, six Lucky Letter boards, and seven Lucky Chairs, and all require no group.
If you do chose to join their group, at the time of writing there are 35 group gifts, yours for the taking.
This gown is from memory and old group gift which is no longer available, and it’s in standard mesh sizes. To demonstrate you don’t need a mesh bod to look good, here I’m wearing it on my system bod! Or perhaps I’m the one in the white hat chasing the gangsters? I love coming up with outfits for themed parties. This is an old ensemble and I’m actually wearing it on my system bod. Sometimes, system clothing works really well, and in the case of old items from Carrie’s Lingerie (which is where the corset, bra, and gloves are from), you can’t really go wrong!
Oh and the fab car behind me is at Builder’s Brewery. They have fantastic classes for beginners to experts. Go and check them out for all your building needs.

A little mix and match today with this cute ruffled mini. I’ve shown you the top before, but I thought it went really well with this mini skirt so here it is again!
The mini skirt comes in nearly every mesh body size, and it also includes a 20 color HUD! 10 solid colors and 10 cute textures!
I found this pretty little location to photograph too. Most of the time I photograph in the studio as I’m too busy with building or texturing or scripting or something to get out and find locations. Well, this time I got out yay!
This dress has just enough design on it so I can’t really classify it as an LBD… ok, it’s an LBD 🙂
It was a group gift for the Maitreya Gifts, Sales & News group a little while ago from Lo’s, and therefore it’s only in fitmesh for Lara.
I think that is the designer had stopped and thought for a moment, adding a materials layer for shine just for the pattern at the hem could have made a great dress into a totally spectacular dress 🙂 As it is, it’s certainly one to consider when going out clubbing!
