Who says redheads can’t wear red? At least dark reds like this super little mini dress from the Evil Bunny Hunt!
And if you’re not a fan of red, the dress comes with a color HUD with black, white, pink, teal, and light blue shades as well! There are fits for standard sizes, plus fitmesh for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Physique, Hourglass, and TMP.
Happy Aloha Friday! I’m so ready for something yummy with fruit in it to sip as the twinkling stars come out, as the breeze blows in from the ocean, to smell the blossoms in the air. Tropical Punch from Nickki at Island Style Designs is just perfect for that evening out!
Island Style Designs — Tropical Punch gown (Belleza Freya & Isis & Venus/Maitreya/SLink Physique & Hourglass/Ebody/Ocacin/TMP/Tonic Fine & Curvy fitmesh, five standard rigged mesh sizes)
I really love how Nickki has put a bit of a sheen on this gown — it shimmers very nicely in darker lighting, and ripples just so under brighter lights. The colours really come alive!
Happy Aloha Friday, but spare a thought, too, for the people of Puna and Leilani Estates as Tūtū Pele rumbles. There has been some amazing footage of the fissure eruption, and so far no one has been hurt, but Tūtū Pele is not to be trifled with! You can find updates at Big Island Now.
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone! Mahalo! A hui hou!
If you did the Evil Bunny Hunt, you know it had two paths, the “Nice” path and the “Naughty” path. Here’s an outfit from the naughty path 🙂
The top and skirt are separates and come in sizes for Lara, Isis, Venus, Freya, Hourglass, and Physique. The textures and rigging are really well done, with no need for alphas.
Hello gentle reader! Today I have a really interesting mesh gown and a new hairstyle to show you. Both of these were hunt items on the Evil Bunny hunt, which has now finished. I know, I know, I should have posted this earlier, sorry, but I’m lucky to get one post a day done, let alone the five or six it would take me to keep up 🙂
I’m generally not a big fan of full length mesh gowns as they have clipping issues while dancing. For this gown, I’ve completely alpha-ed out my bod from the chest down which, while dealing with the clipping issues, also shows up that you effectively have no feet lol
This is a very generous hunt item. Not only does it have the gown in standard sizes plus fitmesh for Lara, Freya, Venus, Isis, Physique, Hourglass, and TMP, but all the jewelry is included as well. Both the gown and the jewelry have HUDs allowing color changes (four for the gown, and 15 for the jewelry!)
While my hairstyle may not be the most contained, I think it works well with this gown, partly due to the gown’s shirt collar. I think the collar is cute and makes the gown far less formal.
I love the loose braid on this hairstyle! The hairstyle comes with two base colors, a light brown and a light red. Similar to other hairstyles I have from Firelight, it also comes with a color wheel HUD, so if you know how your colors interact, you can get nearly any shade you like! Fantastic! The color you see here comes from adding bright pink to the light red (now you know why red hair and bright pink generally don’t work too well together).
Our weekend themed party at Eden was Heroes vs Villains. I had this hairstyle for Harley Quinn already so I went looking for the rest of her look…
Nearly all the outfit (including the hairstyle that I already had) is available in one kit on the marketplace, so this was an easy theme setup for me for a change! I added some fingerless gloves and appropriate makeup, et voila!
The outfit includes the jacket, top, and shorts as separates, the tattoos with Omega and Maitreya appliers, the shoes (Slink, Belleza, Maitreya), the choker, and the baseball bat. The sizes for the clothing are body specific fitmesh for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique. There are some minor clipping issues with the shorts in dances, but walking around is fine.
The theme of the weekend dance at Sisters of Eden this past Saturday was Heroes and Villains, and in honour of the new Avengers movie, I decided to come as one of my favourite characters — the beautiful Natasha Romanova, the Black Widow. Fortunately for me, Xtra Ordinary had just the perfect outfit!
Xtra Ordinary — Black Widow full costume (Maitreya/Physique/Hourglass/Freya/Isis/Venus fitmesh, Omega/Maitreya appliers)
Decorative mesh pistols are also included that are initially configured to attach at the utility belt (holstered). These guns are non-scripted decorations only, and do not include holsters. Note that the vendor art depicts held pistols and holsters: these are not included, but are the Raven pistols from Breach, and can be found here. For the above shot, I simply attached the right-hand pistol to my hand, and did a little editing to adjust the position just right.
I also found that I had to be careful on applying the catsuit layer on my Maitreya body: if I applied to the clothing layer, I’d have conflict (poke-through) between the catsuit and the corset. Application to the underwear layer worked just right, however.
I’d been wanting a good Black Widow costume for quite a while: I’m so glad to have found Xtra Ordinary. They have some incredible things at wonderful prices, a few of which I’ll share with you in the future.
This was a hunt item on the Cute & Curvy Hunt. The super sexy top and skirt cover just enough, and it’s in one of my favourite colours to set off my hair! Yay!
There are sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Lara, Physique, Hourglass, Fine, and Curvy.
When I said it just covers enough, there is sure a little bum peekage going on 🙂
This is another group gift from Resun Fashion. Their group is FREE to join, and there are a number of group gifts available!
The outfit includes the hoodie, the skirt, and the boots. Sizes include Lara, Venus, Hourglass, and Physique for the jacket and skirt, and the same sizes for the boots.
I wore this over some lingerie for a more provocative look 🙂
So, first let me apologise: I had taken pics for two of Silvan Moon Designs‘ Fantasy Faire gowns several weeks apart (yes, I got advanced copies for blogging) and had no idea that I’d used the same hair and jewelry for each. I really hate doing that, particularly for posts that are within a few days of each other. That said, I loved how they worked for each gown, and I certainly wasn’t going to go back and re-shoot with something that worked less well!
That said, Solas and Bee present the Windsor Palace Gown for the Fantasy Faire 2018. And where else should we take pics? Why in Buckingham Palace, of course!
Silvan Moon Designs — Windsor Palace Gown, exclusive at Fantasy Faire 2018. (11 colour choices) (Maitreya/Physique fitmesh, five standard rigged mesh sizes)
A word about the lovely Leah jewelry set from *AvaWay*. The full set includes bracelets as well (not worn in this outfit) and an incredible texture-change hud that allows you five choices of metal colour and eight choices of gem colour, as well as the ability to change the texture of half of the gems independently of the other half. It’s lacey teardrop motif is a perfect match to Windsor Palace.
Time is running out for Fantasy Faire 2018. Put the party on hold for a little bit, anything that can wait should — the sims are beautiful and the goodies are amazing.
I’ve been wanting to photograph our friend Emma “Ems for short” for ages and I finally got her! She’s a great individual and a bundle of energy, either at a party or organizing one of her things in-world. She has done a lot of work for the LGBT community, helping to set up a place called Rainbow Rhapsody with the owner, and attracting stores to the sim. She’s tireless and always positive, and great fun to be around!
Her clothing style is generally urban, so we shot these at a great little sim I know. It’s changed in placessince I first found it, but some parts of the sim continue to have that nice grungy urban feel.
Ems’ tatts are custom jobs representing her experiences in SL, so while I’m listing the creator below, don’t expect to find this set of ink in the store!
