At the Winter Shop & Hop Event, ella was nice enough to put out not one, but three FREE gifts for visitors! This dress is one of them.
An excellent use of materials makes this dress, sized for Lara, Freya, Isis, and Hourglass, reflect the light in wonderful ways!

This really nicely done sweater dress and sleeves set is by Salt and Pepper. The sleeves and dress are separate, and both come in sizes for Lara, Freya, and a one-size-fits-all for classic avatars. Also included is a twelve color HUD the lets you texture the dress, sleeves, and the tie separately.
This is another of the FREE gifts available at the Winter Shop & Hop event, that runs until the 13th of January.
I’m not sure what to call this dress. It’s a double breasted trench coat/dress but the frills and golden decorations make it seriously formal. Whatever we decide on calling it, it’s for Lara only.
Today, Eden will elect the Winter Queen for 2019. This is what I’ll be wearing.
This is a gown I picked up a few years back, but I’ve never photographed it before. It’s only in standard sizing, and with all the flexi and attachments, it’s rather complex, but it’s a fantastic look!
I do have a Santa’s Little Helper event coming up at Eden after all, so I suppose I have to find one Christmas-y outfit.

There are numerous gifties available at the Winter Shop & Hop event. A few stores are giving away gift cards to you can get anything from their stores, which I think is just a wonderfully generous idea!
One store doing this is ViSion, and this dress is what I picked up with my gift card!
There are a number of colors to pick from at L$250 each. I think there is also a fatpack, although I forgot to look closely as I knew I wouldn’t be able to afford it with L$300 🙂
The single colors come with a HUD that allows you to change the colors of the laces, rings, zipper, and the in-built panties, or hide the panties if you prefer your own. The dress is sized for Lara, Freya, Isis, Physique, and Hourglass.
While I was gift gathering at the Winter Shop & Hop (on until the 13th of January), I was stopped in my tracks by this awesome leather and lace creation by The Forge.
This is not the first time that an I’ve seen an item by this creator and had to buy it at the Shop & Hop!
Leather and lace events are fairly common in SL, and it’s always nice to have something totally eye-catching, and this outfit is certainly that! The strap and buckle detailing is excellent.
It’s only sized for Lara, and there are a number of other colors available at the event, for L$210 each.
Happy Winter, everyone! I love this time of year — cold and snow are SO much easier to deal with in SL than they are in RL! But even in RL, there is so much magic in the snow and in the seasonal lights. It’s a beautiful time!
I came across this wonderful set of Winter Guardians from Spyralle at the Winter’s Hollow event, and they are just the perfect happy touch to your parcel, your sim, your little corner of Winter. There are four of them, and they’re resizeable to fit your space. Each is from one to two LI depending on the size.
