I’ve been wearing my leopard to the Sci Fi Con a bit, because there seems to a a lot of furries there this year! So, having run home in my Sci Fi duds to do a photo shoot for today, I didn’t bother changing 🙂
This skirt and top combo is another FREE gift from eBento’s third anniversary event. You can pick it up for FREE (along with dozens of other gifts) at the event, just by joining the FREE group.
The top and skirt are separates and are sized for Lara only. There’s a little clipping going on with the skirt, but a judicious application of alphas on Lara soon fixed it.
The eBento event is celebrating its third anniversary! There are lots of FREE gifts at the event, all available for joining the FREE group. The event continues through the 31st of May, so you have plenty of time to run and check it out.
This neat little mini is one of the gifts from the event. It’s sized for Lara, Freya, Isis, and Legacy.
The Four Seasons event is happening at the moment. I found this lovely FREE gift at the Ari-Pari booth!
The dress is sized for Lara, Freya, Hourglass, and Physique. It comes with a five pattern HUD with some lovely pastel color combinations! Hurry over and find it for yourself before they are all gone on the 29th of May!
This is a beautiful nightdress sized for Lara only. If you’ve missed out on Monthly Midnight Madness this month, don’t be too distressed. Join the group and make sure you’re ready to go next month!
Here’s another of the outfits I managed to get at Monthly Midnight Madness last weekend. This bikini is separate top and bottoms, and the botttoms were the midnight gift, and the top was the midday gift 🙂
The bikini is sized for Lara, Freya, and Legacy, and comes with a HUD to allow you to hide or show some additional frills. I prefer the nice clean lined look!
I mentioned yesterday that Monthly Midnight Madness, an ongoing monthly event, happened last weekend. I managed to pick up this super micro bikini on one of the midnight boards!
The top and bottoms are separates, and are sized for Lara, Freya, and Legacy.
Last weekend, Monthly Midnight Madness was on. This is a once a month event, offering some fantastic gifts to members of the FREE group. There are two “events”, one at midnight SLT, and one the following midday, and each creator offers two pieces, one available at each time. But there’s more! These are limited editions, so you have to be one of the first 1500 people to hit the boards after midnight and midday to get them (although there are last chance boards where you can pick up the piece if the limited are exhausted, for L$50 each).
This fabulous bodysuit was one of the midnight items, and the detailing and use of materials is just out of this world. It’s called “Oil Lace” and the materials make it shimmer like rainbow oil on water. The Forge is a place I generally stay away from, because I tend to walk in there and want to buy the entire store, all their pieces are so well done 🙂 But I’ll certainly grab one for free via MMM!
Welina mai kākou! Hau‘oli Pō’aono! Aloha my friends, Happy Saturday!
My heart is a little heavy with the closing of The 2020 Fantasy Faire this weekend. The Faire… is many things to many people, but to me it is a coming-together of friends, of not-yet friends, of spirits in a common goal to create, to share, to try to make the world a better, brighter place.
I had one last set of products from the Faire to share with you. This is Ninja from Sakka’s Studio. Sakka has an amazing number of beautiful Japanese-inspired outfits, and her Ninja is perhaps the most amazing I’ve seen in-world. It contains the suit, hood and mask (you can drop the mask by HUD control), gauntlets and shoes. The katana was my own addition! The outfit has a seven-colour hud that allows you to get exactly your own look.
If you haven’t gotten the chance to see the wonderful little vignettes/diaramas at the Fairlands Junction, you really really need to try to stop by and see them. I had to share the amazing work “A Chinese Proverb” by Fiona Fei. I just.. I can’t even begin to do it justice. I hope that she does not mind me slipping into it to be a part of the view… but I left my katana out of this one: I could not bear to bring violence into such a serene scene.
The Faire closes on Sunday, swallowed by the Mists for another year. Take heart, though, my friends… for Faire 2021 will open in under a year’s time… and I am quite sure that the builders and creators will begin long before then in preparation. In the meantime, come and share and enjoy and shop and give for one more day… and live in hope and peace for all the days that follow.
We keep the Faire in our hearts all the year long.
I wish you peace and joy and love! Aloha! A hui hou kākou!

Aeon has been busy photographing and blogging for the Fantasy Faire, and she’s turned in some wonderful pics. Meanwhile, I’ve been getting ready for the 12th Second Life Science Fiction Convention! Put it in your diary now, as the Con opens in less than a week!
Blue’s Fantasy is attending for the second year in a row, showcasing our line of working telescopes. Come and meet me at the Convention, where I’ll be demoing the scopes at various times during the day (or you can just try them out for yourselves!) And just like last year, 30% of all sales from the Blue’s Fantasy vendor at the Con will be donated to Relay For Life!
I wanted to share the other lovely treasure from Spyralle with you… this is The Song of the Moon, the companion piece to the The Song of the Sun that I shared with you a couple days ago. It’s dark and bright and fills me with hope.
Can’t explain that, and I won’t try. But it’s a beautiful piece for your sim, a little sparkle of starlight, of moonlight in an unexpected hollow, perhaps.
There is so much magic at the faire. The people, the common mission, it really is one of my favourite times of the year, and my favourite event in all of SL. I hope that you’ve had the chance to stop by and take a look!
I wish you peace and joy and love! Aloha! A hui hou kākou!
