Another FREE gift from the SLB17 gifts area today. This is a stunning gown, and my photos don’t do it justice. Unfortunately, like most full mesh gowns, it’s fine for walking and photography, but it’s impossible to dance in.
It’s sized for Lara, Legacy and Legacy Perky, Freya, and Hourglass. The choker is unrigged and fit me out of the box with just a little vertical adjustment. The gown’s sparkles are animated and it has a HUD that lets you control lighting and glow, and other materials settings including hiding the sparkles entirely. Additionally, the HUD allows you to hide the flowered sleeves and change the eyelet color at the front waist of the gown.
Hello sweets, this is another FREE gift available at SLB17!
The dress is sized for Lara only, and comes in a variety of colors including army (shown), black, blue, blush, plum, red, white, and wine. The belly chain is included, with four versions to choose from: gold (shown), onyx, rose gold, and silver.
There’s a tiny clip at the back of this which is impossible to use alphas to deal with (I’ve magically removed it from the photo below hehe) but it hardly detracts from a wonderful little mini dress. Run and pick up yours today!
Water is life, water is rebirth, water is creation, and water is destruction. Is it any wonder that water features so prominently in our rituals, in our dreams?
Flitting through a dark forest, a forgotten ruin that nature is reclaiming… and a shining basin held by the very branches themselves, a shower of sparkling stars falling like wishes from the rim.
Spyralle has introduced the beautiful Litha Water Offering pedestal basin at the June edition of We Love Role Play, and tardy Aeon FINALLY gets to share some pics I took with it. I decided to visit it with my petite fae, it felt the perfect complement to the mystical foresty nature that Litha embodies.
Kerryth has incorporated a few nice tricks in the bowl. You can turn the falling stars on or off, and there are two different versions, one featuring the coloured stars shown here, the other featuring white stars — for whichever is most appropriate for your use!

Just in case you’ve been hiding under a rock, Second Life’s 17th Birthday celebrations are well and truly underway. There are lots of things to see and do, and there are lots of birthday gifts for all!
This romper is by Naicisse. It’s only for Lara, and comes in three shades, Florida (shown), Coral, and Nightshade.
I’m sure I’ll have some more things to show you from the huge pile of gifts I have, once I get through sorting them 🙂
A Midsummer Night’s Dream hunt is on presently. This is a L$3 hunt, and it runs until 21st of July. This pretty butterfly outfit is one of the hunt items!
The outfit comes with the wings in scripted, unscripted, and a smaller scripted version. It includes the butterfly decoration, and the crown. And the scarf wrap is a one-size-fits-all fitmesh. The scarf wrap leaves little room for underwear options lol. Overall, a lovely outfit for butterfly lovers.
A little gallery of treasures… works of art, collected pieces from travels…. mysterious curious that must be more than they seem. The trinkets we treasure are the smallest reminders of epic stories.
The Cabinet is build in beautiful mahogany, and features a “removable” glass shelf. Detailing is exquisite, from the cabinet hinges to the shelf cleats! This is perfect for those little treasures that we accumulate and don’t know what to do with. How many of my little treasures do you recognise? The beautiful Raven mask on the upper shelf centre was Kerryth’s offering for the 2020 Fantasy Faire, and is still on sale at the Spyralle main store at Mauna Waipio. All proceeds for the mask go to the American Cancer Society’s fight to cure cancer! It’s a wonderful piece, and can be worn in a closed position as a mask or displayed opened (as you see here).
The case represents a tilt-open case, where the front glass panel would swing upward. The case itself is non-operable, but you can carefully remove the glass shelf to display taller artifacts. This requires just a little bit of editing/modding experience, and Kerryth explains how in a nc included with the piece.
Stop by The Vintage Fair and take a look. It’s an amazing piece at 2 LI — I really am impressed with the glass in the case, it has just the right colour and reflectivity. I think I may have left fingerprints!
A hui hou kākou!
A modified version of the [Euphoria] natural high windlight was used.
While the world may sometimes look dark, take a moment and listen — the birds sing, the flowers bloom. The breeze blows in the trees. The Planet, in all Her majesty, dances on. How can we not pause to hear the piper?
We’re just over half-way through June, and the June edition of We Love Role Play is going strong! Bee and Solas at Silvan Moon Designs bring you Esmeralda. It has a wonderful care-free feel to it. While it’s a longer mesh, it’s flared up about calf-length, so it doesn’t pose the kind of problems that you often see in movement for a longer mesh dress. Esmeralda comes in six lovely colours, and is sized for Maitreya only.
The outfit features separate skirt and top, so you can mix-and-match. The beautiful boots are included, and totally complement the dress. I’m already thinking about other outfits that I can pair these with. I’ve added the beautiful bangles from @rOrO and a necklace and earrings from EarthStones. It must have been fate, for the Esmeralda hair and scarf from Fantavatar & Moonstruck [Oblivion] just matches perfectly, completing the look.
I… feel I’ve got to say one more bit here, though, because I love the jewelry from Earthstones and rOrO, but… we really should stop using the term ‘gypsy’. Yes, I know, there’s a lot of debate about this — many ethnic Roma say “please don’t use the word, it’s hurtful”, and others say that they don’t care. There’s a nice discussion of the term and its history and usage here. I think the long and the short of it to me is, why say it if it makes people feel bad? Political correctness isn’t a bad thing, it’s simply a different phrase that means “polite”.
Let’s close on a happy — we’re on location outside of Silvan Moon Designs. My favourite sim designer, Gidgy, decorated the sim beyond the store for Bee and Solace. Queensgarden lives on, in our hearts and all over the Grid!
I wish you all a wonderfully happy weekend. May you have peace and serenity, and stay healthy. Aloha kākou!
OwO, two furry posts in a row! I saw a notice for this loincloth and top, and knew they’d be purrfect for the leopard, so here you go 🙂
I found this as a L$2 hunt gift prize. The Heart the Cart: Can You Dig It hunt officially opens on the 1st of June. but I managed to sneak in and grab this. The top and loincloth are sized for Lara, Hourglass, and Physique, and come with a HUD with ten fur selections for you to choose from.
This is another outfit I picked up for FREE at the eBento Event. The event runs until the end of the month, so you still have plenty of time to run and look.
This romper is sized for Lara, Freya, Isis, eBody Curvy, Legacy and Legacy Perky, Tonic Curvy and Fine, Hourglass and Physique. The star ties at the back are sized for Physique, Tonic Curvy and Fine only, but the Physique one works fine for my shape.
