Aloha kākou! My how the week has flown!

I mentioned that I had found some wonderful goodies at the CYBER Faire (open from March 4 to March 24, 2021). I have to share another with you. The Atomy bodysuit from A&Y Bunker CyberShop is a sexy sleek little number. I really love the combination of covered shoulders/arms… and a high french-cut at the legs. There’s just something really appealing to me about that combination!  Atomy is available in a number of base colours for the Maitreya and Legacy bodies, and has a HUD to change detail colours and glow levels.  There’s also a fatpack available.

The bodysuit looks great in high boots or completely bare legs. I tried with some little ankle boots from GRAVES, but the outfit felt too unbalanced. I finally found this wonderful set of leggings from A&Y. If you know me, you know I like bare feet, so this really just kinda felt perfect — giving some pleasant balance to the bodysuit, but without the thigh-high boots (that I personally am not so fond of wearing, even though I think that they look great). The Electra legwarmers don’t have glow elements like bodysuit does, but they otherwise seem to match and complement the bodysuit quite well.

Her skin is one of my favourites — Expanding Universe (Chaos) from Fallen Gods. This is the perfect kind of outfit to show it off, and you can see that I’ve added some specular shinies from Stargazer and the beautiful Celestial face tattoo from .::Nefekalum::.., which I featured previously.

Completing our look is the Synchronicity helmet from .:Bison:. in purple and the Vyper Katana from The Forge. I really love the look of the Synchronicity helmet de-rezzed/retracted here.

Another FREE gift has appeared at the Orsy Event!  You need to join the event’s FREE group to get it.

It’s sized to fit Lara, Hourglass, Physique, Freya, Isis, eBody, eBody Curvy, Altamura, and Tonic (Fine, I’m guessing).  There’s a multi-color scheme HUD included, although all the textures are as transparent as this, so you’ll need to be careful not to stray onto a G rated beach 🙂

Aloha kākou! Hello everyone!

I was taken out on a shopping spree for my rez-day at the CYBER Faire (open from March 4 to March 24, 2021), and OMG it was so much fun. I’ve been wanting to improve my cyber/sci fi/futuristic outfit/costume situation for a long time, and have had a lot of disappointment at sci-fi/cyber type events (just bad luck?) but the current cyber faire is just FULL of goodies that I couldn’t pass up.

Let’s start off with the G647 Control BOM/applier bodysuit from GRAVES Fetish and Cyberpunk. GRAVES has long been creating some of the sleekest and sexiest body suits for your sci-fi/cyberpunk needs, and as the capabilities and appearance of clothing in SL has improved, so has theirs. Yes, it’s still appliers, but now BOM is added, and they make good use of materials — texture and specular layers. I’m a big fan of BOM here: it’s supposed to be skin-tight, but the texture adds just enough pop that it looks right. The big advantage of BOM, of course, is low complexity impact, and a really big favourite is its ability to be worn on any body shape. I love the Lara Petite chest, but the available clothing items for it are still few. No problem with BOM! Control includes an unrigged mesh collar, because you just need that three-dimensionality there. I added an older pair of G322 combat boots that I had on hand — also from GRAVES — to go with the outfit. The gloves are included as part of the Control BOM.

And OMG, I just love the new Synchronicity helmet from .:Bison:.. It’s sold in individual base colours, and also available in a fatpack. Several lighting effects and colours are available. The helmet visor has an opaque/transparent option, and a lovely little animation (with gestures and sound effects) for opening/closing the helmet. You have GOT to pick up a demo of this, but be warned — to pick up a demo is to doom yourself to purchasing at least one. I found it really easy to fit over the Dext hair from A&Y Bunker CyberShop

One last goodie — the beautiful Celestial tattoo from .::Nefekalum::... This one didn’t come from CYBER Faire, but rather from the March edition of We Love Role Play. But wow it fits in so well, I love the whole look together here. It’s busy, but I feel like it just makes my face pop (in a good way!)

Aloha kākou! Hello, everyone!

Sometimes I come across an item and I didn’t even realise it’s what I was looking for — I didn’t even know it was what I needed! The lovely Daughter of Olaf tunic set from Bee and Solace at Silvan Moon Designs is currently at the February Enchantment — and it is just one of those outfits!

Daughter of Olaf is a four-piece outfit: tunic, shift, leggings and girdle for Maitreya Lara only. It comes in eight beautiful colours. I wanted to share the brown with you — it felt just perfect for my huntress. Boots are not included, but I added Silvan Boots (Winter Magic) from [QE], and the look just right. Top it off with a few pieces of jewelry, and I’m all set.

Well, almost all set — a huntress needs her tools, and a few happy pieces make up my arsenal. First and foremost is the beautiful Bow of Galadhrim from from TS Creations. I saw it at the 2020 Fantasy Faire, and just fell in love with it right away. It’s a fully functional combat bow, but I haven’t actually used it for combat, only for costumes.

I’ve got a small hand axe that I also picked up at Enchanted. The Raider Hatchett from [mizu] is a beautifully detailed little piece that caught my eye. It’s the perfect detail to hang on my belt!

There’s something wonderful about putting together costumes, whether you role-play, have a costume contest at a club, or just like trying something different out. Enchantment will be open until March 8, so you have a bit of time to get over and look around. Please do, and have fun!

The Free Dove Hunt #3

I’ve been showing you items from a hunt event put on by Alaska Metro and the Free Dove.  Here’s the last item I’ll show you, you’ll have to run and find all the rest of the hunt items for yourself.  But hurry, because the hunt only goes until the end of the month!

The Free Dove hunt #2

I mentioned yesterday that Alaska Metro and the Free Dove have teamed up for a FREE hunt.  Here’s another two items from it.

Similar to yesterday’s lingerie, this is BoM and Omega only, and is available in both red and black.

The robe looks stunning, and is sized to fit Lara, Hourglass, Physique, and again comes with two of the standard mesh sizes for medium and small.  The robe is in either black or white.

Free Dove and Alaska Metro

Free Dove have a FREE hunt on for Valentine’s Day which runs through until the end of the month.  There are ten hunt items to find, including lingerie and makeup.  It’s going to take me a couple of days to show you some of the things 🙂

Half of the items are hidden at Free Dove, and the rest are hidden at Alaska Metro‘s main store.  You’ll need to join the Free Dove group (which is FREE to join) to pick up the items.

The lingerie is BoM and Omega only, and comes in black and white versions.  For the system layers, Alaska Metro have conveniently given us the bra and panties on underwear layers, plus an “all in one” version on a tattoo layer.

The shorty robe is in black and red and is sized to fit Lara, Hourglass, and Physique, with a standard size medium and small also included for classic avatars.  The robe’s sleeves look wonderful, but they have some alpha issues when they intersect the main part of the robe, which is why I’m not wearing it in the picture below.

It’s Valentine’s Day here today, and in SL tomorrow so I suppose I better tell you about the Valentine’s Day Shop and Hop Event!  There are eight full sims with hundreds of some of the best shops in SL, nearly all offering FREE gifts.

This skirt, top and harness is one of the gifts.  It’s sized for Lara, Lara Petite, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Freya, Isis, and Hourglass.  It comes with an eleven color HUD for the harness, top, and skirt, and a four color selection for the metals.

Leather and Lace Hunt 4

The Leather and Lace Hunt is on at the moment.  I found this great little dress and jacket for a tiny L$1 on the hunt!

The jacket and dress are separates, and although I’m accentuating the lilac color with lighting, both pieces are this lovely color (or close to it).

Both pieces are sized to fit Lara, Lara Petite, Freya, Isis, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Hourglass, and Hourglass Petite.  There’s also a one-size-fits-all fitmesh for classic avatars included.

This is another L$1 hunt item from the Dirty Little Secrets Hunt.

This dress is sized to fit Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Curvy, Fine, Hourglass, Physique, and eBody Curvy and Classic.  The package also includes five standard mesh sizings for classic avatars.

The dress is saved from being “just another mini” by the interesting strap styling at the back, and for L$1, you can’t go wrong 🙂
