Whichwood, the home of Petite Mort and Oubliette, is sponsoring a sim hunt and it’s on now! There are twelve hunt items to find, and each item is priced between L$10 and L$20. I’m not a huge fan of expensive hunts, as you’re already benefiting the stores by participating in their hunt and increasing their traffic, but I had to grab this blouse and skirt from the hunt, I just love the floral on black!
The blouse and skirt are separates, and both are sized for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Physique, and Hourglass. The blouse was L$20 and the skirt was L$10.

Before I even start, OMG what a beautiful sim the wonderful and talented Gidgy has created! Last year she wowed us at FF2020 with Queensgarden. This year she was asked to decorate the FF2021 Quest Sim, and she has created The Seventh Valley. Okay, it’s probably awfully early to say so, but it’s DEFINITELY my favourite sim at the Faire. Come and see, you won’t regret it. It is alive with magic, with life, with growth… with hope.
I’ve got two lovely little items for you that I picked up at the Faire. You’ll recognise my dryad — I’ve featured her before in several posts, and she’s truly one of my very favourite personas. I am absolutely delighted when I find new treasures for her. I found a number of new things last year at the Faire, and this year is no different!
The first thing I want to share with you is the lovely little Mirkwood Maskfrom Bliensen + MaiTai. The mask is unrigged and resizable, and comes in three different versions: all gold, all silver, and a beautiful wood with green leaves that matches my arm and leg vines from SBPC.
The other happy shiny here are a new set of wings from -FAS-. Faery Wings are a lovely set of bento locust-wings. They come in three different sets, each with up to nine different textures. The texturing and materials on these are beautiful, and they shine wonderfully in the light. They even come with a bento animation hud!
Oh! And let me not forget the wonderful poses from Pink Moon! They have several wonderful sets for the Faire, and I’ve got two samples here from the Gypsy Soul and My Beautiful Star sets!
How can I not have fallen in love with her? She is all my best moments — full of joy and life, little and fierce and bright. Everything that I want to share with others around me.
I hope you are having a wonderful Faire-day! I will see you around the Fairegrounds!
Planners have been planning for months. Creators have been working. Builders have been making the most amazing sims for you to explore. There are sims for shopping, sims for dancing, sims for sitting and just being.
I’m not going to review anything here today. I’m not going to show off any products. I just want to show you a few snapshots of some of my favourite places in the Faire so far without comment. Take a look… then come and see for yourself. Tell me your favourite places!
Aloha kākou! Today is the second of my series on Fantasy Faire 2021, and one more taken at the Realm of Light sim before the Fairegrounds actually open tomorrow. I have a few more beautiful little landscaping deco pieces for you today!
The first is the Fairy Wishing Tree (Rainbow Edition)from Simply Shelby. It’s a beautifully detailed heart-shaped tree, with lovely glowing faerie lights in the branches!
The sign at the bottom has a beautiful little wish for your dreams.
The Fairy Wishing Tree comes with two versions included: the tree, flowers, stones and sign (as shown), as well as the tree by itself.
The other lovely item here is the Spring & Summer Tree of Love & Poetry from *Thus Magic*. It too is beautifully detailed, with some lovely birds and nice single and couples poses.
A year of sadness, a year of stress, a year of trials.
It’s been a year of struggle for… all of us.
And here we are… one year later.. .and we have survived, many of us. We have grown… we have found strength that we didn’t know we had.
On April 22, Fantasy Faire 2021 opens for just a few short days — two weeks of adventure, of shopping, of laughter, of stories, of sharing. Two weeks of old friends and new ones.
Two weeks to raise as much money as we can for Relay for Life’s fight against cancer.
There are so many treasures to find at the Faire that will help this fight. I’m going to start with some landscaping/deco items for you today.
The centrepiece of this little vignette is In Our Darkest Hour, from The Olde Attic. This piece is beautifully detailed, with the most amazing little birds perched on the branches. And of course, for those of us who love the Faire and carry its flame in our hearts all year long, the Faire logo will find a perfect place in a grotto or clearing on your sim.
I really love the Glowbell Flowers from 3rd Eye Perceptions. They come in three different colours (melon, lavender, and peach) and have a lovely glow to them in the dark that’s surprising. They’re perfect for a little fantasy scene, and you’ll see them in a few other shots of mine in the days to come.
The other fun plants here are Grey’s Strange Eggs from Grey’s Mind Maze Cocteau. They come in four elemental shades — Earth is shown on the left, and Air and Water are on the right/centre. They’re strange and beautiful and a lovely little accent.
Last year was amazing. Last year raised over eighteen million lindens — a bit over seventy-five thousand US dollars for the cause. We will do even better than that this year, for all those who face cancer, who live with it, who fight against it, who support those who do, who are touched by cancer. This is a fight we are all in together.
I’ll be sharing lots of wonderful joys with you here over the next two weeks. Come to the Faire… shop, share, enjoy. And give… give because we can make a difference.
As I showed you the “evil” outfit from Emerald Couture yesterday from the Evil Bunny Hunt, I thought I better show you the “nice” outfit! Each hunt item is a tiny L$1.
I’m assuming that this is “nice” because it’s not as sheer as the one yesterday, but it’s sure short 🙂
It’s sized to fit Lara, Legacy, Physique, Hourglass, Freya, Isis, Venus, Curvy, and Fine, and it also comes with the five standard mesh sizings for classic avatars.
The Evil Bunny Hunt is on at the moment. They’re in their eleventh year! The hunt runs until the end of the month, so there’s plenty of time to find all the L$1 hunt items.
Of course, being the evil bunny, there are generally both naughty and nice items to be found. This dress is the “evil” one from Emerald Couture. It’s sized to fit Lara, Legacy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Physique, Hourglass, and Altamura. There’s also a one-size-fits-all version for classic avatars.
Oops, I got a little distracted from opening gifties from the MIIX Event. Here’s another one you can pick up for FREE just by joining the free event group. The event runs until the 20th of April, so it’s time to get over there!
The top and shorts are separates and both are sized for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Curvy, Fine, and Hourglass. The set comes with a six color HUD, solids for the shorts and the floral print for the top. Great for a day at the beach!
Here’s a FREE group gift at the Orsy Event. Just join the free event group and it’s yours!
There are lots of objects in this, each dress color (there are eight colors) is a separate object, and the belt is separate. As it’s sized to fit Lara, Kupra, Kupra Kups, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Alice, Hourglass, and Freya, that’s 128 objects!
The dress is materials enabled, and looks very pretty under good lighting. It suffers a bit under darker tones due to the materials, and unfortunately there is no way to disable them.
I’m slowly opening packages from the MIIX Event. Here’s another gift, yours for FREE when you join the FREE event group.
This is listed as a romper, but I’d call it a pants suit. It’s sized to fit Lara, Freya, Hourglass, and Legacy. You’ll need ankle lock on with it and high heels, else anything that animates your feet will cause them to clip the flairs.
It also comes with a HUD with four pastels and white, black, and grey.
