Time is running short on Fantasy Faire 2021, but there are still so many things to find, so many sights to see!
I get to show you a few treasures here that I picked up at the Faire. One, I confess, is not available if you don’t already have it: the dark skin I’m wearing is the Hel Draugr skin from Fallen Gods. It’s a special edition, available only for Alia Baroque’s Jail-and-Bail fundraiser last Friday evening.
It made the perfect match to the sleek Valkyrie Spirit bodysuit from *Lurve*. Lurve’s Faire store in Khol Dracys has a number of lovelies for you, and Valkyrie Spirit is definitely my favourite. It includes the unrigged helm and bracers, and both of these have just wonderful materials. The specular reflection is just PERFECT — I look like I’m wearing real steel on my forearms and head.
I added a few other bits that are a little harder to see. GERMINAL has some lovely tattoos at the Faire, and you might be able to catch a glimpse of the Lamia foot tattoo on my calves. It’s a lovely black swirly bit, and seemed to fit well on my Valkyrie — a nice subtle bit against the darker limbs of Alia’s draugr skin. I also included the Corrupted eyes from A.D.D. Andel. I have a feeling I’ll be adding these eyes to some of my other exotic skin outfits!
My wings are from Bare Rose, who does not have a booth at the faire, but I wanted to point these out because they’re my favourite bento angel/feathered wings. I have them in white, but they’re modify, so you can go in and adjust colour and specularity. So making some steel-grey metallic wings is easy. I’ve been able to match them to a whole bunch of different outfits.
There’s still a few more things to come from the Faire. Please stop by, spend an hour or two or ten… and help support Relay for Life’s fight against Cancer.
We can hold back the Unweaver!
As I mentioned, the Cosmopolitan Event is on, and it’s their 9th anniversary! Congratulations! And because it’s an auspicious occasion, there are lots of FREE gifts for all! You can pick them up by joining the FREE event group.
This pants and top set is one of the gifts available. The creator calls it an “overall” but that conjures up visuals far less pretty than this! The outfit actually is all one piece, and is sized to fit Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Curvy, Fine, Hourglass, and Physique.
It comes with a texture HUD (two in fact, one is specific to Lara, although I don’t know why, it has the same options). The HUD lets you set the top, pants, buttons, and belt to any one of ten colors. You can also change the belt buckle to gold or silver.
I think that Fantasy Faire is about protection and about memory — we raise money to help end cancers, and we remember all those that we have lost along the way. Alia Baroque was inspired by this when he created Valhalla, the Fallen Gods-sponsored sim at the Fairegrounds. And appropriately, there have been a number of Norse-inspired outfits and poses that I’ve come across at the Fairegrounds.
Today I get to show you the very well-detailed Amnerystunic from .Viki.. Amnerys is perfect for a Viking or other medieval timeframe or roleplay. It comes in 8 different animal hide options, so you’re sure to find something that suits your look. I really liked the Dark Goat!
The Faire will be coming to a close this weekend… it’s always so hard to part with such a magical place. It’s more than a shopping event, it’s a community event. I hope that you have had the opportunity to enjoy it. If not.. there’s still time!
I saw a girl, she reminded me of you She did the things that a girl like you might do Her body was green and she had two vicious jaws She polished her mate as she kissed him with her claws
SOMETIMES you just find things that make you giggle so much that you can’t help it. I came across these amazing Bento Mantis Limbsfrom the amazing Idrial at -FAS-. My first thought was “OMG that’s hilarious but also EWW”… and then I thought about it a bit more. Hey, what if….
What if I paired those with the amazing Mantis Maskfrom Spyralle? I’d been wanting to find something to do with that ever since Kerryth brought it out? Now, as a quick note — Mantis Mask isn’t available at the Faire, you’ll have to visit Kerryth’s main store to pick that up, but do please visit her Faire store for other goodies!
And put those together with the Pure Emerald skin from Fallen Gods? NOW you’ve got me sold. Finish it off with elements of the Bellatrix bodysuit from Aii.
I was giggling so much by the time I was done… well. Hopefully you’re as amused as I am. You really should stop in and check out these legs.. they have wonderful animations with them, and are completely creepy crawly wonderful.
I’m still busy soaking up every minute of this wonderful Fantasy Faire. I hope that you are too! Aloha! A hui hou kākou!
I’ll see you around the Faire!
There’s no sound in the wood but for the rustle of the leaves in the breeze, the song of birds… but a fierce battle cry is the last thing an interloper would hear.
We start the second and final week of Fantasy Faire 2021! The events are done, and now it’s just shopping and dancing and enjoying. It’s a more relaxed feeling at the Faire this week, but for the frantic dash to hit all the stores before the Faire closes!
I found this wonderful viking tunic and boots from R3D Studio. The two pieces are sold separately, but certainly work wonderfully well together. The Einar tunic is sized for Maitreya/Legacy/Perky/Hourglass/Venus bodies, and comes in a whole bunch of different colours. The Runar boots are sized for Maitreya, Legacy, Slink and Belleza, and come in black, brown, and Beige. I added some lovely leggings from Silvan Moon Design’s Daughter of Olaf outfit. You can find Silvan Moon Designs at Tempest Bay at the Fairegrounds.
Hey, for those of you who like taking pics, don’t forget to check out Poseidon poses in Valhalla. All of the poses in today’s set are from the Tauriel and Valkyrie sets, and both come with a few props (like my knife)!
There’s still a week left to enjoy the Faire! Come and explore! Shop! And support Relay for Life’s fight against Cancer!
For your Friday Faire pleasures, a devilishly amazing outfit put together from a host of Faire merchants! We’re going to start with Aii, who have put together the tantalising Bellatrix bodysuit outfit here. The outfit comes in Legacy and Maitreya fitmesh, and features separate pieces for legs, arms, shoes, a neckpiece, pauldrons, and the bodysuit itself. If you want to wear it all together (as I am here), there’s a full-up combination that makes getting dressed even easier. There’s a fabulous HUD included that allows you to customise all KINDS of colours here!
Aii & Ego together bring you the wings and tail sets here. The Nefarious wings are bento animated, and come in five sizes that are sure to fit your look. The Avarice tail is animated, and comes with an optional Soul flame that sits right at the tip of the tail. There’s also a Soul Flame that you hold in your hand… sometimes. I’m not going to spoil this one by telling you about it, you MUST go try it out, it’s too cute for words.
I’ve matched these up with the Black Fire skin from Fallen Gods It seemed the perfect match to go with Bellatrix. You can see that I’ve added the Flame Web specular tattoo from Stargazer Creations. I’m a big fan of the shinies, and when you have advanced lighting turned on, these just create a beautiful bit of fire for you.
I found a beautiful set of eyes from Petrichor at the Faire. These are the Galline eyes, and they have an amazing hud with so many choices for shadings, for gloss, and even pupil shapes! I’m also showing off the Celestial tattoo from Nefekalum. I actually picked this up a month or so ago at We Love Role Play, but it’s available at Fantasy Faire right now as well!
Topping off the outfit is my favourite set of Cernunnos horns from [Gauze & Trap], the only merchant in the list who is not represented at the Faire! And remember, all my poses today are available at the Faire! Check the pics for links!
I certainly don’t play a demoness frequently, but it’s so much fun to do something different, and it’s just brilliant to find so many things to put together in one amazing package. I wish you all a wonderful Faire!
Unlike most of my shots during the Faire, this was not shot on the lovely sims that the Fantasy Faire creators have brought to life, but I want you to focus on the outfit, not on my surroundings!
I have a beautiful kimono set from Sakka’s Studio to show you today. Kosode is a wonderful set, with kimono, nagoya obi, hair bow. I’ve added the Obuto Zori footwear to go with it. It’s such a wonderful combo.
Sakka’s Studio has a wide array of Japanese period clothing, all very well-textured and well-rigged. There are a multitude of beautiful patterns and colours to choose from, or save yourself from impossible choices and get the fatpack. It is Fantasy Faire, after all, and part of all sales go to support Relay for Life’s fight against cancer. The more you spend, the more you help out!
Oh, and one more lovely little thing — a beautiful little wah, a Red Pandafrom Manticore. It’s the most adorable little thing, and the perfect companion to follow along at your heels!
A few little lovelies for you today. First let’s make very clear that -AZUL- is one of my favourite gown makers, producing some of the most lovely textured elegant gowns that I’ve found in-world. The beautiful Essi is no exception! It’s available at the Faire in gold or silver, with a beautifully textured golden accent. The silver gown (which I’m not showing you!) is particularly striking, as the golden detail against the silver makes a very beautiful two-toned contrast. The gold works a little better with my complexion, so I opted to show the gold gown!
That statue in the background is worth a closer look: it’s a beautiful set piece from from Cerridwen’s Cauldron called The Heart Mender. It comes in two versions: white marble (shown) and a crystal version. Both versions feature crystal hearts (one broken, one healed) in the hands. It will be a beautiful addition to your garden or hall! Oh, yes, and it comes with a planter garden surround (great for a garden) or without (better for the hall, probably).
There’s a wonderful set of masks from from AIR. Maschera a un’ala comes in gold and silver versions for Relay for Life, and has full, left, or right side only. I love the idea of the half-mask, so, here you go. It really works nicely, I think, with Azul’s Essi gown. The mask is resizable mesh, so getting a good fit is pretty straightforward.
You’ll also note the wonderful halo from *SR* design. The haloes come in seven different colours, and can be modified in colour. There’s a beautiful shimmering kind of effect, and a slow rotation of the whole thing. As i write this up, I’m wearing it with a purple fae that I wear while I dance on the Fairchylde. It mounts on the avatar centre, so it stays in place behind you as you dance, which is kinda neat. I’ll have to take another pic and show that off to you later!
This floral on black dress is FREE at the MIIX event. It’s for a limited time only, so rush and get yours!
This is nicely designed dress with (what appears to be) a semi-sheer outer over an opaque inner dress layer, and gives it a very interesting look. Being Second Life, the top part of the outer layer doesn’t exist, but it’s a nice texturing illusion 🙂
The panties are included and are separate from the dress. Also included is a HUD that allows you to pick from twenty plains and twenty patterns for the upper and lower parts of the dress. You can also pick from the same twenty colors for the panties.
Sizes included are Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, and Physique.
