There are some sim builders who just get it right. I’m always impressed by realism in SL, and Baileys Norge has it in spades.
I only had a short time to take these photos, so I cammed rather than walked to the locations. I will certainly be going back for a closer look in the coming days.
The attention to detail is really noticeable, including touches like mist over the water. On our land I wanted a light beam through the trees (aka a “God ray”). But I didn’t want it static, I wanted it to track the sun (I eventually wrote the script for this after a lot of experimentation, as I was just learning the capabilities of LSL at the time). Features like the mist on the water make me think things like “How can I script it so the mist appears to burn off when the sun rises?” 😉
