I don’t know if any of you have read Philip Reeves’ Mortal Engines series, but when I first saw the Stalker skins from Jeanette’s Joint, I thought immediately of Grike and Anna Fang. No, I know, I don’t envision either them as sleek metallic like this… but that feeling persists when I look at JJ’s fabulous work here.

There are several colour choices for the Stalker, and seperate “skin” choices (called “personas”) for the skin visible around the mouth and eyes.

I also get a chance to show off the fantastic Jada outfit from The Forge. Jada is a gacha outfit in a bunch of different colours. If you like the gachas, this is a fun one to play for!

While there’s no cyber sim at Fantasy Faire (I had to run over to Insilico South for the right setting), there are all kinds of treasures, even cyberpunk ones at the Faire!

It’s a beautiful warm spring day, with hints of thunderstorms, and I’m flitting about the Fairgrounds. I’m always on the lookout for new outfits for my petite fae. I love the little Yabusaka petites, although I have the sad feeling that they’re kinda a dead-end product that is not really being developed these days. I have to admit, they have not aged particularly well in the era of bento faces, and the clothing manufacturers have not appeared to have developed much over the past few years.  Mind you, if rigging is carefully done, why can’t we just resize our favourite mesh bodies down to petite size???

All that said, I’m glad to show off a lovely outfit picked up here at Fantasy Faire 2020! The Juniper outfit from Starla at **DSO** is an adorable lovely little omega-applier tights and top with a flexi skirt. It’s cute and bright, and comes in a variety of colours!

The flexi skirt is not modifiable, so you can’t adjust the size. I found it to be slightly oversized in the waist for my Yabusaka 3.0 fae body, but I was able to adjust position enough that I was happy with the fit.

Belle Epoque brings you Anne, a wonderful piratey-themed outfit available in Maitreya and Legacy fitmesh. It’s a one-piece top/skirt/corset piece, with incorporated belt and pistol. The detail is really amazing!

I am so excited for at Fantasy Faire 2020! There are 18 sims of beauty, 14 sims of shopping. I get to share some wonderful happies here today from the Queensgarden sim, perhaps my favourite sim so far. I suspect you’ll be seeing a lot more of this in my shoots over the next two weeks!

I have this wonderful fae outfit from MALified. Poison Ivy is a beautiful b&p set (or bikini, if you prefer?) with flowery accents in Maitreya fitmesh. The wings are static, but have a gentle flex motion to them, and the most beautiful materials! I want these in bento!

The poses are also available at the fair from Astlandia: they’re a full set of poses, one for each constellation of the Zodiac, complete with mirrors. They’re sold in sets of three constellations each.

I added the Hieme lavender willow wings, the willow buds seemed to be a lovely accent with the crocus gown, and matched the beading in the Samanta hair from {Limerence}. I really love it when a look flows together like this!

How many of us are sitting in our pyjamas? How long has it been since we showered? Since we brushed out our hair? I keep tying mine back to get it out of my face… but who’s going to see if I don’t get dressed today? Who am I trying to impress?

Pyjama days are great… for a day.. or two… and then maybe for me I start to go a little crazy.

So get cleaned up… brush my hair and put it up nicely… put on some smexy lingerie and a nice gown. Even.. just for me… I can look good… and it’s worth the time, every once in a while.. to remind myself what it is to feel good about how I look.  That I am worth dressing up for.

I picked up the beautiful Gizela gown from Azul … some months ago, and completely forgot about it, I fear. Too many days without going out fancy, and it was lost in my wardrobe. But I stumbled back across it the other day and thought “OMG, why haven’t I worn this?”

Gizela comes in all your favourite fitmesh fittings — Lara, Freya, Venus, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic. Now, I know what you’re thinking — “long mesh gowns are HORRIBLE for dancing, Aeon” — and you’re right. But that’s where Azul gets it right, too — they’ve added some wonderful flexi components to give the gown drape and swoosh. I’m so happy about this kind of gown construction: the best of mesh for the upper, and flexis for the lower. Yes, please, more like this! Oh, and this is Azul, so you can be sure that Gizela comes in a wide variety of colours!

Lastly, I want to give a shout out to Zan Sarai at Luminesse for the wonderful Mokolea Pololena jewelry set. I had a different coloured one (the lovely green Lekika) and had to pick up the blue and purple Pololena to go with this. I had a little issue with it, and Zan Sarai got back to me within an hour or two. She’s wonderful and you should go buy lots of things from her!

Kerryth at Spyralle has a wonderful treat at the Ostara’s Altar event. The Apple Blossom and Cherry Blossom headpieces are the perfect accessory for a spring ball, or a flowery fae, or just because you want to surround yourself in flowers!

The headpieces are unrigged mesh with Copy/Mod permissions. They are resizeable and can be tinted through the object edit context menu. They’re initially set at full bright, but this too can be turned off on the edit context menu!

The Fairy Godmother gown is an older release from Silvan Moon Designs that I blogged three years ago (WOW), but it still looks amazing, and the perfect complement to the Apple Blossom crown. I chose the glass colour to accentuate the bright colour of the apple blossoms!

I know it’s a long way off from summer, but I am so looking forward to that feeling. That cool breeze, a break from the humid heat of the summer day.
