I know Halloween is over, but I just got around to unpacking this SLF&O Halloween group gift from Ana Markova, and it’s so cute I just can’t wait for an appropriate event to show it to you!

The outfit is in what appears to be system specific fitmesh in standard sizes. I tried it on Lara but it has the problem a lot of non-specific mesh stuff has with Lara and won’t fit tight around the pelvis. So here we have it on system.

The included alpha has a significant issue, so I’m wearing without an alpha, and it seems to be just fine that way. No clipping anywhere (which is what makes me think it’s system specific fitmesh).

The horns and the wings are included. I just need a tail and a pitchfork!

Black lace mini

I’m always excited to find a new store! Orquidea makes original mesh clothes for men and women, and I picked up their November group gift to show you.

This sexy little mini is in standard rigged sizes, but unfortunately doesn’t have a Maitreya specific version (although it has fitmesh for both of the Slink bodies). It’s wearable on Lara, but if I was going to wear it a lot, I’d have to make a specific shape for it as it clips at the front of the armholes. It’s all one piece so no mix and match. The texture details are very nice, however.

Orquidea is L$10 to join, and I will certainly be trying demos of some of the rest of their clothing!

Another belly dance event has come and gone. Here’s my costume, again from RaMp, who certainly make some nice belly dance stuff. I now have a couple of outfits I like from them, and will start recycling hehe.

The outfit is all applier and prim and comes with everything you see here including the earrings and headband. There are system layers and specific appliers for Omega, Slink, and Maitreya.

This off the shoulder mini was a hunt gift or an MM board prize, I can’t remember which. But it’s super cute, and comes in standard rigged mesh, classic fitmesh, and specific fitmesh sizes for Belleza, Slink, and Maitreya.

Also included are some system and applier panties for the bodies mentioned, plus Omega.

And matching heels for Slink High too! Lovely!

Wind Sculpture

Here I am, struggling to find outfits for blog posts, and I realize I haven’t promoted our wind sculpture!

This is based on a real life sculpture that rotates in the wind. Our version doesn’t rely on SL wind, but you can set the speed that the vanes rotate to slow, medium, or fast to suit. As the vanes rotate they create a wonderfully hypnotic pattern, and with the addition of a light that can be switched on or off, it makes for a stunning visual object, particularly at night.

The land impact is 13, but you can derez the vanes when not in use, reducing the LI to 1.

Full instructions are included, but really, all you need to do is rez it where you want it. The sculpture takes care of rezzing and positioning the vanes for you.

I don’t often show you applier clothing. A lot of free applier clothing is old system textures stuck into an applier object, and while they work far better on a mesh body than on the default system body, they are still, well, applier. However, I was going though my outfits that I haven’t blogged, and I came across this gift from Tiffany Designs that looks like it was made for Lara (although it comes with system layers too).

The lacy top wraps around the back, and well, the dress gets a little “cheeky” on one side 🙂 The mesh veil makes the look.
