I don’t often post pics of applier clothing as I’ve mentioned before.  With the proliferation of fitmesh, applier and system clothing is becoming less… important?  But sometimes, you find yourself needing something like undies for a flaired skirt or something, so of course I still have a collection 😉

I found myself in this situation the other day, with a 50’s style skirt that just wouldn’t have looked right if I alpha-ed out bits to protect my modesty!  So I rummaged in my inventory and found these great applier high waists from Siss Boom, which I must have had for over 18 months and never worn!  Despite their name, I didn’t realize just how pretty they were, and decided they deserved some photos for you 🙂

When textures are done really well like this, they can look absolutely fabulous on mesh bodies!  In addition to the black, they also come in white and periwinkle, in both Omega appliers and system layers.

This gown was a group gift (or perhaps it was on a midnight mania board) at Rowena’s Designs some time ago.  It uses a pretty well worn mesh from Meli Imako, but this version is rather nice for the textures and use of materials.

It comes in standard rigged sizes, and fitmesh for classic, Maitreya, Belleza, and Slink.  The HUD has six textures, four more of which I’ve shown you below.

Like most full mesh gowns, dancing in this leaves a little to be desired.  I’d recommend slow ballroom only in this 🙂

This was the December group gift from FAC last month.  I’ve only just got around to opening it!

The shorts are separate from the top and hoodie, which are one piece.  It comes with a HUD to let you change the textures on the hoodie, and there are so many mesh versions in the package I was overwhelmed 🙂  There is classic sized rigged mesh, classic sized fitmesh, and body specific fitmesh for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and TMP.

I’ve also fallen in love with this location, and after showing it to Aeon, she has too.  So you may see it used in a number of upcoming shoots hehe.

What a cute jumper and jeans gift from Prism!

The beckoning cat will surely bring me luck (and customers too, as his left paw is up!)  The jumper is standard rigged mesh and the jeans have appliers for Maitreya and Omega.

It’s still a little cool and the snow is still covering our land, so I thought a little mix and match for a sweater and jeans would keep me warm, at least if I don’t venture out too far!

The sweater and leather pants are from different designers, but because they’re both Lara fitmesh, they play together brilliantly.  Some ankle boots and one of my fav necklaces and I’m all set!

And I must say, both creators are great texture designers.  I wish I was as good as this!

Boho Tank Dress

This cute little tank dress was from the Boho Fair last year.

The detailing on the belt and the texturing is excellent!  The dress is in standard rigged mesh, plus fitmesh for classic avatars, and body specific fitmesh for Belleza Isis, Slink Hourglass and Physique, and Maitreya Lara.

Diva is celebrating their 6th anniversary is SL with this lovely gown and hair free gift for group members!  Congratulations Marisa!

The gown is in standard rigged mesh, and the texturing is very very nice.  Being full mesh it’s not wonderful for dancing or large movements, but it looks lovely walking.  The addition of a flexi overskirt adds a little swish.

The hair is umm what can I say?  Super?  Great?  Fantastic?  This is just one look.  There are multiple parts to this, and I will do a post on it so I can show you all the looks available with just one hair when the creator designs cleverly as Diva has!  Oh and did I mention it has a fatpack texture change for thirteen colors and options?  Wow, it surely deserves a post of its own!

I tend to keep things sorted into full outfits in my inventory.  I’m not too great at mix and match as I can much better remember an outfit rather than a single piece of clothing.  I dutifully file separates away if they’re good, and sometimes I’ll go though them when I’m looking for something different to wear.  That was the case with these mesh shorts.

The package contains standard sizes in rigged mesh, plus fitmesh for Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, Lara, Curvy, and TMP.  It also have a great little HUD which allows you to change the fabric texture, the belt and buckle colors, and the belt loops.

The detailing is quite nice.  While this is Lara fitmesh, there are some little breakthrough issues along the lower hem.  I’ve done minor retouches to these pics, but I suspect you could easily tweak your shape to get things just right.

Racing!

I was exploring the other day and clicked on a free gift offer and was amazed to receive a working go kart!

Cars and planes go a little fast for me in SL 🙂  Sailing is more my speed.  But they sure make wonderful photo props!

Having said that, I did drive around the track after I’d finished the photo shoot 🙂  Just like my Porsche, the go kart is radically fast and has massive oversteer hehe, but it’s sure a bit of fun!
