Black panther

Sometimes when I’m looking for locations I’ll come across an RP sim that sounds and looks promising, but I never want to intrude on the sim owner and the people role playing there by running around doing photography with lights and stuff.  Shooting this panther outfit from Catseye, I came across a really well done sim called Shadow Moon Jungle, and I TPed there only to see a huge list of rules.

As there was no one there, I was quickly scouting a location when I got an IM from one of the people that had just arrived, and I asked her if it was OK to shoot, and she graciously said “yes”.  So thanks for the location Zara!  I hope you like the pics 🙂

This outfit, like everything Caty over at Catseye does, is really well done.  The textures, ears, tail, and even a shape, are all just wonderful.  All I had to do was add some suitable eyes, a hairstyle, and switch to stiletto nails, et voilà!

Included in the pack are skins for both males and females in system and with Omega appliers, a set of panther ears and a set of leopard ears, the tail, and male and female shapes.

This full outfit (jeans, top, and boots) was a win on the MM board at Country Couture a few days ago.  The mesh jeans (standard, fitmesh, and specifics for Physique, Hourglass, Belleze, and Maitreya) and boots (Slink High and unrigged scripted) are really nice.  The top though?  There’s something strange about those arms 🙂

I took the below photo to demonstrate the issue.  You can see that the sleeves end up halfway down my hands.  And as the top is not rigged to the hand bones, well you can guess that you get all types of breakthrough in different poses (and just standing around under control of your AO).  Of course, being fitmesh, using the sliders to lengthen your arms lengthens the sleeves at the same time!

But as I said, the boots are really nice!

And if you don’t already have a pair of skinny black fitmesh jeans these are great too!

Woo, a mean party dress from Zombie Suicide’s MM board!  Furious is only in standard size rigged mesh, but with some careful alpha selections, looks pretty awesome on Lara.

I’ve shown you this hairstyle before but probably not in these colours.  I love the use of materials for this, it really makes the hairstyle.  If I haven’t mentioned it before, this came from last year’s Hair Fair, and the creator generously included a five colour HUD 🙂

And speaking of HUDs, the dress also has a ten color one, which allows you to change the green pattern on the dress to other colours.

I accessorised with some goth style makeup and jewelry, and I’m sporting a few tattoos.  The ones on my hips are particularly good…

I got this daring bra from the MM at Scandalize!  It’s very pretty but ohh I don’t know I’ll be able to walk around in it.  I’m too shy 😉

It comes in a bunch of sizes including Maitreya, Hourglass, Freya, Isis, and Venus.  There are no standard avi fits with this one.  Also, there are two objects labeled Maitreya.  I suspect one is a mislabeled fit for Physique.

The bra also comes with a seven color HUD, so it’s easy to get a match with whatever you choose to wear it with!

Hello lovelies, today I decided to get a bit arty with my lighting as a dark mood seems to suit this sexy little dress from the MM board at Trashed.

The dress is really well textured and the belt is not a separate item, so you can’t remove it.  Sizing includes classic, and fitmesh for Venus, Freya, Isis, Physique, Hourglass, Maitreya, and TMP.

And I thought going with the dark theme required something a little different in earrings, so I found these earcuffs hidden away in my jewelry draw 🙂

This was a MM board win at TRS Designs.

Lots of fit options including classic and fitmesh for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP.

It’s materials enabled, and as you can see from the shots, it’s a little shiny, at least for my taste.  I nearly always photograph under projector lighting, so your mileage may vary.

This prettily textured dress comes in standard sizes and a single fitmesh size for classic.  Here I’m wearing it on Lara, and it just works.  To walk around or dance in this, I can’t recommend anything other than the system body with the included alpha.

Having said that, it does have nice features, like a really nice eight color texture HUD.  I like purple (what a surprise).

And the big news for this post is that SLink have released their Bento enabled hands!  If you own any of their hand packs, you can go and get a redelivery in their main store for free.  The best news is that the hands work with any Bento pose system (although the new hands come with a HUD and SLink offers static poses for sale at the store).  You can read all the news about this exciting announcement at the SLink website.

I’m using the UNKO Hand Posing system which includes fourteen static and nine “in motion” hand animations and is available for free from the marketplace!

While running around slapping MM boards yesterday, this hippie style tunic caught my eye, and it was love at first sight!  I had to get it, and for L$50, it was a bargain!

It’s standard rigged mesh, but with careful choice of alphas, it works beautifully on Lara!

I love the shoulder to wrist cutout sleeves, they make the tunic something special, don’t you think?

Role playing is not really my game, but it’s always nice to have outfits for any occasion.  You know, when you get invited to defend the walls of a friend’s castle or something?  And when you’ve spent a little while in SL, you generally end up collecting at least one of everything.

FabFree did a post on this outfit, so I will just try and photograph it for you in a different light.

The outfit is a dollarbie hunt item for “The Best of Me” hunt, which runs though to the end of March.

FabFree photographed all the bits, while I left  the armour and head band off for these pics (who needs armour in a castle, right?)
