Maai is a store I really like, but they have been really quiet for some time now.  They moved to a big new store and a lot of vendors with coming soon went up, and then it all went quiet.  I’m happy to say that something finally seems to be happening over there, and as evidence, here is the latest group gift from Maai!

The lingerie is for Maitreya Lara only, and the bra, panties, and garter are all separate.  The stockings are also from Maai as a free gift (find them on the main counter), and again are only available for Lara.  The stockings also come in white and nude colors.  The bows on the lingerie are very cute 🙂

Since Aeon and I started this blog, I’ve thought that fashion photography should be all about the clothes, and a lot of my photos are done in the studio to reflect this.  Aeon is a nice balance for me because she is far more concerned with getting out and finding a nice setting for her outfits.  But you know, for a change, I wanted something other than the white backdrop to shoot against, so I got this little vanity table.  It has some excellent little poses and animations in it, and the creator has tried to think of everything, including multiple copies of the objects in different colors.  Also, everything is mod!  What a great little addition to our set of props!

Prism Design has a very nice gift for the Renaissance Hunt that’s going on right now.  The gift includes both a gown, and a full length wrap-around cloak for the guys (although I suspect we might be able to wear it too)!

The gown is in standard mesh sizes and the texturing is really nice (although as I tend to comment on most materials enabled clothing, the shine is a little overdone.  I wonder if designers actually look at their materials enabled stuff in a photo lighting setup?)

For a gown like this, my first choice in hairstyle is this wonderful do from A&A.  I don’t wear A&A as much as I used to before the jellydoll project, but this hairstyle is a must with this gown!

Disclaimer: I’m not into pony play, but in the interests of comprehensive fashion reportage…

This “outfit” if I can call it that, has been lurking in my inventory waiting for me to get up the courage to post it lol.  It come in two versions, the “nice” version shown here, and a “naughty” version without the mid bra panels.  Sizes are fitmesh for Freya, Isis, Venus, Lara, Hourglass, Physique, eBody, and TMP.  There are no classic sizes.

I must admit, while I’m not a fan of the style, the detail and rigging are superb, which is what I’m come to expect from this designer.  Great job, and certainly worth a look for those of you into this style!

So in case you don’t know, Precious Designs and Rowena’s share a store, and while I was there the other day, I grabbed the gifts for the MGSN group too 🙂

This is a great little dress, and it comes in standard sizes plus fitmesh for Physique, Hourglass, Freya, Isis, Venus, Lara, and TMP.  It also comes with a five color HUD, but guess which color I like? 🙂   At the store, right next to the dress, are a matching set of heels for Lara, Slink, and Belleza high feet.  The heels come with  a HUD to let you match them to the dress colors.  A wonderful gift!

My hairstyle is by Tableau Vivant, and while I usually sport fairly long hair, I love short styles too.  I must have worn A&A’s Serafine for 18 months to the exclusion of everything else before the jellydoll update to the viewer made most prim hairs far too expensive to wear.  This hairstyle was a gift for SL’s 14th birthday, and it comes with a full fat pack of color HUDs!

It’s been a long time since I’ve done a post on an outfit from Rowena’s Designs!  I haven’t been there for a little while until something caught my attention on the SLF&O group chat the other day.  I’m glad I went because I picked up this gorgeous little dress that comes with a six color HUD too!

The mesh is really well done, and it comes in standard mesh sizes, plus fitmesh for classic, Belleza, Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, and TMP.

A few weeks ago, Eden announced that our wonderful DJ Jen was going to start doing a regular hour of jazz every Sunday morning starting at 3am SLT.  This is fab news and firstly it’s my Sunday night hehe, and secondly evening wear is being encouraged, which means we have an excuse to pull out the gowns again!

A lot of what you see me post on the blog is free (or costs very little if it’s a hunt prize).  I wrote an entire post on the “Most of this is free” concept.  Unfortunately, some free things come along very rarely, and one that you rarely see is a good set of jeans.  However, as this post shows, sometimes, if you wait long enough, all things come your way 🙂

This outfit includes the top and jeans, and both come in standard mesh sizes with fitmesh for just about every body you can imagine.  The package also includes some platform heels for Slink, Maitreya, and Belleza high feet which are just waaaay too high for me (think 5″ platforms and 10″ heels eeeps!) but you might like them 🙂

The texturing on the top, and especially the jeans is fantastic!  Now I have a set of ripped mid waist to go along with my fav boyfriend jeans!  They’ll surely see lots of use!

Applier clothing sometimes works brilliantly.  Case in point this body suit from Dark Salvation.

The detailing is excellent with the lace, busk, laces, and eyelets.  What a great job!

Let’s not forget the back, with more superb detailing.  The outfit comes on system layers and includes a multi-body applier for Lara, Omega, Brazilia Doll, and Lola Tango.  The platform heels are included, and come in sizes for Slink, Belleza, and Maitreya.

One of the rules as a redhead is you don’t wear red.  Of course this rule is made to be broken, and one of the best places to do it is in the bedroom 🙂

This stunning little lace babydoll was a midnight mania win from Troy, whose store I hadn’t come across before.  The top and panties are separate, and there are sizes for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Physique, Hourglass, and TMP, plus classic rigged mesh sizes.

The panties have some very minor clipping issues in some poses, but overall, it’s a very nice set of lingerie that will undoubtedly make your partner very happy 🙂
