We had a swimsuit party at Eden the other day.  I was going to wear a one piece I’d picked up a while ago, but I showed Aeon what I’d been demoing before I decided to wear the existing outfit.  Overnight, she got me a gift card for the one I’d demoed.  She is a wonder!

Now girls, I’m going to tell you a secret.  If you want something to really fit Maitreya, buy one made by Maitreya!  Simple as that.  This sexy little one piece comes in one size for Lara (obviously) and you can choose from a number of colors including this green, black, taupe, a quite a few pastel colors in between.  Each color is sold separately unless you have the money to burn for the fatpack.

The outfit is marketed as a bodysuit but if this can’t double as a swimsuit, I don’t know what can.  If you have a good pair of fitmesh jeans or shorts, you can easily wear this under them as of course it’s fitmesh, and the fit is flawless.

I’m showing you an old mesh dress today that I rediscovered while sorting inventory.

The dress comes in standard mesh sizes, and while I’m wearing it on Lara here, it’s only really suitable for system bodies with the included alpha if you were going out dancing in it.  The cuts on the Lara HUD is just not quite right for it and I had to pose carefully 🙂

Having said that, it’s a pretty little dress, and you can optionally wear the spikes at the bodice (they come as a rigged mesh attachment), and there is a HUD to color them too.

While the two pictures above show the dress up as nearly black, it’s subtly textured, and the texture shows up much better in world than in my photos.  Here’s an enhanced close-up to show you the detail.

I have a nice outfit suitable for RP today.  I just need a tray with beer steins on it!

The outfit is in standard mesh sizes only and comes with a five color texture HUD to control the colors of the dress.

The sandals are included, and while they are unrigged, seem to work nicely on Maitreya flat feet.

Great day to take  the Lambo out for a run!

My scooped top was a MM win (I think hehe) and comes in fitmesh standard sizes, plus specific sizes for Belleza and Maitreya.

My jeans are available in fitmesh sizes for Lara, Isis, Freya, Venus, Physique, and Hourglass, and have a multicolor HUD to tint the button and studs.

Maai is a store I really like, but they have been really quiet for some time now.  They moved to a big new store and a lot of vendors with coming soon went up, and then it all went quiet.  I’m happy to say that something finally seems to be happening over there, and as evidence, here is the latest group gift from Maai!

The lingerie is for Maitreya Lara only, and the bra, panties, and garter are all separate.  The stockings are also from Maai as a free gift (find them on the main counter), and again are only available for Lara.  The stockings also come in white and nude colors.  The bows on the lingerie are very cute 🙂

Since Aeon and I started this blog, I’ve thought that fashion photography should be all about the clothes, and a lot of my photos are done in the studio to reflect this.  Aeon is a nice balance for me because she is far more concerned with getting out and finding a nice setting for her outfits.  But you know, for a change, I wanted something other than the white backdrop to shoot against, so I got this little vanity table.  It has some excellent little poses and animations in it, and the creator has tried to think of everything, including multiple copies of the objects in different colors.  Also, everything is mod!  What a great little addition to our set of props!

Prism Design has a very nice gift for the Renaissance Hunt that’s going on right now.  The gift includes both a gown, and a full length wrap-around cloak for the guys (although I suspect we might be able to wear it too)!

The gown is in standard mesh sizes and the texturing is really nice (although as I tend to comment on most materials enabled clothing, the shine is a little overdone.  I wonder if designers actually look at their materials enabled stuff in a photo lighting setup?)

For a gown like this, my first choice in hairstyle is this wonderful do from A&A.  I don’t wear A&A as much as I used to before the jellydoll project, but this hairstyle is a must with this gown!

Disclaimer: I’m not into pony play, but in the interests of comprehensive fashion reportage…

This “outfit” if I can call it that, has been lurking in my inventory waiting for me to get up the courage to post it lol.  It come in two versions, the “nice” version shown here, and a “naughty” version without the mid bra panels.  Sizes are fitmesh for Freya, Isis, Venus, Lara, Hourglass, Physique, eBody, and TMP.  There are no classic sizes.

I must admit, while I’m not a fan of the style, the detail and rigging are superb, which is what I’m come to expect from this designer.  Great job, and certainly worth a look for those of you into this style!

So in case you don’t know, Precious Designs and Rowena’s share a store, and while I was there the other day, I grabbed the gifts for the MGSN group too 🙂

This is a great little dress, and it comes in standard sizes plus fitmesh for Physique, Hourglass, Freya, Isis, Venus, Lara, and TMP.  It also comes with a five color HUD, but guess which color I like? 🙂   At the store, right next to the dress, are a matching set of heels for Lara, Slink, and Belleza high feet.  The heels come with  a HUD to let you match them to the dress colors.  A wonderful gift!

My hairstyle is by Tableau Vivant, and while I usually sport fairly long hair, I love short styles too.  I must have worn A&A’s Serafine for 18 months to the exclusion of everything else before the jellydoll update to the viewer made most prim hairs far too expensive to wear.  This hairstyle was a gift for SL’s 14th birthday, and it comes with a full fat pack of color HUDs!

It’s been a long time since I’ve done a post on an outfit from Rowena’s Designs!  I haven’t been there for a little while until something caught my attention on the SLF&O group chat the other day.  I’m glad I went because I picked up this gorgeous little dress that comes with a six color HUD too!

The mesh is really well done, and it comes in standard mesh sizes, plus fitmesh for classic, Belleza, Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, and TMP.
